I've been going to Bruno's for awhile now and I just had dinner there with my family last night and I can definitively say this is the best pizza joint around! The food is out of this world. The pizza and garlic knots are a must (and typically my go to). My wife had the spaghetti with meatballs, and my two girls had shared a calzone and needless to say, we all walked out with smiles on our faces (which is saying something because my youngest is the hardest to please when it comes to her din din)! The service was amazing. Whenever I go for lunch Bruno is always very nice and chats with me, and with the family, we had an awesome waitress that my wife said was "reading our minds!" Right before we were about to ask for something, we turn around and she's already on her way with it! I recommend Bruno's to all my friends! read more

Bruno's had (maybe still has) an amazing deal going on with Uber Eats. The site said buy $15, get $15 off. I could not resist an awesome deal like that! I browsed the menu and ended up ordering my usual: a small plain cheese calzone (12") with the side sauce. The calzone wasn't bad, but it was just ordinary. The portion size was decent, but I've had better sizes for the price. If I wasn't getting this discount, I probably wouldn't have ordered it, since it would be too expensive. They pack a large amount of mozzarella cheese in the calzone. It's a little bready, not too bad. The edges of the calzone had a good amount of dough, and I like that they just do a thin layer of dough on top. However, the amount of ricotta is truly minuscule. I thought they completely forgot to add the ricotta in until I finally got a random bite with a little ricotta. The only factor that stood out about the calzone was their side tomato sauce. This was delicious, and the portion was good for the small calzone. There were small chunks of onions and tomatoes, which made for a nice texture. I'm not sure if it comes free with the calzone, since I ordered extra sauce and just got the standard serving. If you do order from here, ensure you get a side of the red sauce. But, other than that, it's a pretty typical pizza store. A little more expensive than some other options but not bad. Decent quality and portions. read more

We stopped at Bruno's today for lunch off the Pennsylvania turnpike and were so pleasantly surprised with our amazing lunch! We had a hoagie (steak and cheese) and a sub (Italian). They were both exceptional- hot, fresh, delicious bread and meats and served with great pride. The steak and cheese was probably the best I've had in a very long time. The place was cute, really clean and the owner (I assume) was attentive, efficient and so polite. If only we lived closer!! We highly recommend this place. read more

As a New Jersey/New York resident, my expectations for pizza by the slice is rather high. I ordered an order of garlic knots, a plain pie, and a slice of a whole buffalo chicken pizza. Promptly, my order arrived at my table. The Garlic knots were some of the best I've ever had. The medium/thin crust, when struck with the initial bite, was was at first crunchy, then soft in the center. Bruno's was an incomparable experience. My family and I love Bruno's! It is by far the best pizza in Gibsonia. The food is always delicious and Bruno and his family are always so kind to us. Very, very, very, very, very disappointed. Ordered a deep dish and regular pizza, Italian hoagie and wings. $61.00 for the driest pizza you ever laid eyes on. Hoagie was a lump of indistinguishable meat and shredded vegetable matter. Also, cheese on pizza seems to NOT be good quality as it pulls off pizza in big stiff pieces. Wings were uneventful. My husband was up in the Cranberry area so I told him to get a recommendation for a pizza place to bring home pizza to Canonsburg for us. Bruno's was suggested by more than one person so this is where he stopped. We went with a large pepperoni Sicilian pizza and an order of the breadsticks with cheese. These items did have a 30 minute drive getting to us so I realize that the flavor may have been affected somewhat by this. The breadsticks I thought were a little bit tough and I likely wouldn't get them again. They did have a lot of cheese on them but didn't really make up for the tough dough. The accompanying marinara sauce that came with them was literally to die for. The best marinara I have every eaten. I would buy jars of this stuff. Amazing. This was also the same sauce used on the pizza Yay! That made the pizza for me alone. I would have been happier with more pepperoni, but I want so many you can't see the pizza! The pizza itself was good, I wouldn't say my favorite of all time but I do like the Sicilian style with the thicker crust and like I said, the sauce is to die for. Unfortunately we don't live in the area so we likely won't be back but for those of you who are definitely try it out. Would have loved to try the garlic knots as well. Stopped at Bruno's tonight and what a great experience. First- the sauce is outstanding. I usually add seasonings to pasta sauce when dining out but not tonight. You'll want to save your buttery garlic toast to get all the sauce off your plate. The pizza dough was perfect as was the pizza. After reading a newspaper article about Bruno's New York style pizza our family had to give it a try. We are huge fans of traditional New York style pizza and have been looking for a quality slice here in Pittsburgh since we moved here six years ago. Ordered a large cheese and a medium pepperoni along with small order of garlic wings and cheesy breadsticks. I ordered at 6:25 PM and arrived at seven after being told it would be ready in 25 minutes. The order was still in the oven. I ran a couple errands for about 15 minutes and then came back and it was ready. The owner who I assume was Bruno was very apologetic and even gave me a free 2 L of pop to apologize. Handled it very professionally. Unfortunately the pizza did not meet our expectations and we found it very average. The sauce did not have a ton of flavor and everything just seemed very simple. The cheesy breadsticks were very good along with the marinara sauce. If this place was closer to our house I might give it another try but cannot recommend it based on our expectations. read more

It equals that one best-ever slice I had up in Corning, NY at a mall pizza place. The cheese is great as well. The dining room is very nice and they use real china plates and solid silverware.
