Strawberry Supreme Croissant, Sweet Rice Donut, Crab Meat Croqueete
Stellar R.

Pastry Experience: Strawberry Croissant - 0/10 - The filling taste like fruity pebble milk, which some may enjoy. However, I had big expectations for the croissant itself and it was dry, dense, tough to tear and chew, like a 4 day old pastry that had been sitting out. Sweet Rice Donut - 0/10 Ew. Skip this entirely. Darkness matches the heavy old grease taste. I am a big fan of Anko pastry but this AINT IT. Croissant Donut - 3/10 - I enjoyed the lemon filling and glaze. The pastry was dry, densely packed - not airy, flakey or crunchy as I would expect a cronut to be. Crab Croquette - 4/10 - Texturally nice, crunchy top, bread was a little chewy on the bottom, a tad drier than expected. Stuffing was fine but like everything else, taste like old grease. Staff: Bakers looked hard at work, enjoyed seeing the team work on the pastries, it was cute! Staff did not seem as welcoming as other places generally tend to be, no smiles but that doesn't bother me! Additionally, I had put in 2 orders previously through the app & they would call with being out of certain items, which lead me to cancel the order. From there, I was expecting a refund as they could not fulfill the order, but ended in having to dispute with my bank a month later. I wouldn't suggest or return to this bakery. Chantilly has some wonderful bakeries, worth traveling to! **Le Pain Bakery, Shilla Bakery**

It's no secret that I visit this place very often. To date, 20+ check-ins on Yelp. I feel bad giving three stars on this review. However, I feel like the quality of some items have gone down. It tastes and feels stale...as if It's been sitting out in the display for hours or they put out older items. I experienced this mostly with the flakey pastries and sometimes the croissants. During a recent visit, while I was trying to place an order, the employee told me I need to take only one sheet of tray paper next time. I didn't realize that's a rule....when there are a bunch of people behind me it's a little hard to try to take one sheet without holding up the line! I am still happy that they are in this location and easily accessible when I drive by this area. They also started selling swag, which is nice.

You all are haters for rating it an average of 3.8 Service is always extremely good! Tuesday before thanksgiving around 10am there were not many people at all (first time i've seen them not having a rush lol) I ordered online for the first time and it went super smoothly! I had no problem picking up my order (two blueberry yogurt cake slices). They did a bogo special on cake slices for national cake day blueberry yogurt cake: the white cream is dense but light/airy id imagine it's whipped. the blueberry cream part you can tell it's like a real blueberry because it's not overly sweet like most bakeries. The cake itself is light and has strawberries in it to compliment the blueberry cream giving a little bit of contrast but pairing well as it made the cake have a more "fresh" feeling. It's definitely different from the tour les jours ones that's truly blueberry flavored but it IS a cake that has me coming back disclaimer: the cake looks a little messy bc i dropped the box while i was walking out and cause i put it in my backpack but it's okay cause i always eat it up

Update: the PB corp people reached out here as you all can see. After I send them an email, they never replied. It tells me that they don't really give a sh!t, just doing enough on yelp so they appear to be responsive. In terms of the place, nothing much changed. Still running out of the basic stuff like almond croissants and palmiers long before 3pm.

It's always a good day for some Paris Baguette! Parking is available in front of the bakery. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The bakery is incredibly clean and organized. There is a nice variety of baked goods all around. Employees are friendly, helpful, and did a wonderful job wrapping our goodies up. The ambiance is laid back and it is quite spacious inside. So glad this location opened up, Paris Baguette is always forking out deliciousness!

Thanks to Yelper friend, Annzie, for this recommendation! We came back to our VA home for a week! I had a craving for sweets and my sis and I came to try out Paris B. Lots of parking located in the over 55+ community off Loudoun Cty Pkwy. Mid afternoon and no crowds. We met several other first timers. We all learned about the "process of shopping". The instructions are nice and posted on the wall but it was hard to see. I picked up a few items to sample. The twisted sugar donut was ok, the croissants, though large tasted a tad over done. The ham and cheese hot croissant was SO delicious! It was a perfect light lunch item. The BEST thing for me was the chiffon cakes: strawberry and chocolate ones. I ate them later that night and they were so fresh! Yes, I joined the loyalty club because I see myself coming back.

Loved the chocolate puff with strawberry mousse special that they had for Valentine's Day. The mousse was very light, it tasted like strawberry ice cream. We also had some breakfast pastries (croissant with strawberries and pastry cream highly recommended) and the coffee mousse cake topped with a French macaron. Sadly, it didn't make it to the pictures.

My son and I, when available, sample baked goods. Paris Baguette is a chain in the DC area. The fact it is a chain makes it no less delicious, it is a bit different than other bakeries I had visited. You start by getting a lunch tray, similar to what we carried in elementary school(these treats are NOTHING like what I had in school) then you select all the items you want; sweet, savory, breads and loafs to your hearts content. We selected 4 different pastries to share and try: strawberry almond croissant, fruit danish, cinnamon apple tart and a mochi donut. Everything was flaky and delicious without being overly sweet. I also ordered a butter pecan coffee and our total was only $25 which felt like the best money I had spent in a while!

A must for pastries! Delicious!

Well, finally making it in your neighborhood. First time I had Paris Baguette was in midtown NY when my younger sister took me a few years ago. I had iced coffee then and an almond croissant, i enjoyed it. Service was quick, and place was always packed and nowhere to sit in NY but this locatiôn has ample seating both inside and outside, depending on the time of day...like cheesecake Factory, decor theme is the same, blue/white and those Parisian bistro seats outdoors replicated. Staff was friendly. Helped me out when my Border Collie and I stopped in during our mid morning walk. No dogs allowed inside but outdoors ok-that is a plus in my book any day and twice on Sunday! Welcome, Paris Baguette, you're not Paul and we're not in Paris, but hey, friendliness of your staff really stood out to me!

Was so excited to have a new Paris Baguette in town but the service, product offerings and value didn't live up to the normal Paris Baguette standards. The bakery items were barely stocked, there was a very limited selection as most of the display buffet was empty. The trays used when picking the bakery items were grimy and sticky and while there were tongs, they were not easily accessible and people were using their hands to get the bakery items. All we were able to get was the Nutella croissant, sugar mochi donuts, and a castella. Since there weren't many bakery items, we decided to get a cake from the register as well. The wait in line to get to the register took 20 minutes. After we paid and sat down to eat, the tables were dirty and sticky and we were told they were closing for the next shift in 5 mins and that we'd need to leave. This was around 4 pm. The Nutella croissant was burnt and had a bitter burnt taste. The mochi donut was deep fried and it tasted like the oil they'd used was rancid or old. The cake, while we got a mini costed more than the price of a regular at any other Paris Baguette. There was also not much taste, big disappointment here. Neither were we offered any candles or the cake knife which comes standard when you buy a cake at any other korean bakery.

New place in Brambleton Quarter (Bram Quarter) - it just opened a week ago. Since its grand opening the lines have been long but customers get their orders and the place is still working its processes. All in all, great. The quality of food and the big variety of donuts, tarts, cakes, croissants are delicious. My first visit I will have to say it is well worth the wait. The pastries we ordered were delicious and just made. Coffee offerings are plenty and taste great (the wait is worth it). Limited seating inside but there is outside seating in the back (covered and overlooks Loudoun County Parkway). During the busy time my Family and I came, I had a family member who needed to be seated immediately and not wait in line - she sat close to the door/entrance while she waited for us. The Owner (who was doing her rounds of the place) saw my family member near the door (long line went out the door) and the owner found her a better table to sit at and not be continually bumped by the people coming in. We got to talk to her and she was happy to help us and ensured we enjoyed our food and drink. Glad this place is opened. It is conveniently located near my house and I can walk to it and get good food. Highly recommend this place.

Very nice new location in Ashburn. Very bright nicely decorated interior with very nice patio and cool 80's music. We got the ham and cheese croissant and something that look and tasted like a cream filled cronut.

The Conche Chocolate & Cake Studio - 80 birthday cake

The Conche Chocolate & Cake Studio

Disclaimer: This review is purely based off of my interactions when trying to book for a birthday…read moreparty. I am also leaving this review so that others do not have my experience and are not mislead. I was looking around at different options for my daughter's joint 8th and 9th birthday party. Last year we had their party at mocatinas and it was so impressive. I was trying to find something that would be equally as good. I found the Conche chocolate and cake studio and was interested in their party package. I contacted them and even on their Yelp page they advertise pictures of the parties in a private studio. We thought that was really awesome and wanted to do their cake pop making party. At no point during my discussion with their employee did they disclose that this party would not be at their private studio. There were so many chances they had to let me know during our conversations. I finally was given a contract by them and quoted over $800 for the party. We were happy to pay that but during that conversation I realized that it was casually mentioned it would be held in a restaurant. I paused right there and carefully re read everything. I made sure to ask questions and confirmed that not only would the party not be held in their private studio that the owner advertised on this very Yelp page, it would be held at a completely different restaurant. Not even the conche restaurant and no private at all. I think it's incredibly sneaky to charge someone $800 and not give a full disclaimer that this would not be held at the advertised location. Also in my personal opinion it's greedy. I told their employee I cannot justify paying that amount for a children's birthday party held in the corner of a restaurant open to the public. When initially it was advertised as private and even showed pictures. I called them out and said you do know that you have a private studio advertised right? They tried to come up with an alternative solution to put the kids in a "cramped room". While still charging $800 lol. No thank you. We have booked somewhere else. This sort of situation turns me off from even eating at their other restaurant. It's a complete lack of general care. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else and I really hope people read this review so they are aware that children's birthday parties are held at a random corner of a rest and not the advertised private space on this page.

The decor makes you think of what you'd find at an eccentric great aunt's home, but in a positive way. The food is in appealing display cases downstairs. The stand out pastries for me are the tiramisu filled cronuts. Drinks wise, they have the typical cafe fare but excitingly so they also have Colombe on draft which I will always be excited about. I recommend this place to grab a snack and socialize!

They also have outdoor seating, plus a not-so-secret second floor where you can usually find a cozy spot. I've ordered cakes from here multiple times, and they're incredibly smooth and not overly sweet, and honestly, it's hard to go back to typical American cakes after trying these. Everything just feels thoughtfully made. The service is just as impressive, everyone seems really knowledgeable about the menu and genuinely willing to help you decide on the perfect order (especially if you're indecisive like me).
