We had heard of mix reviews from Steakadelphia in Beaverton, on Saturday my son and I took a trip…read moreto taste for ourselves, we were not disappointed. The shop is located right after the Budget Rental Car building off of Canyon Road, you turn left going east into the parking lot as you pass the Budget building, the sandwich shop is right next to the hot tub shop on the left of the lot, ample parking is available. The interior has a few tables but seating is limited if you plan on eating in. The menu board is basic and to the point. You can create your own sandwich or select from the various options. A key fact, they only serve one size sandwich a 12 inch. I ordered the chicken with pepperjack cheese, hot peppers (they are hot), black olives, pickles and mayo (I will share that you might ask for a smaller spread of mayo if you are not a huge mayo fan), my son ordered the Supreme with steak, mayo, unions, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, mushrooms and steak sauce on a soft white roll. The bread was amazingly soft and holds up well with all of the toppings. The sandwich taste was amazing, it took about 8 min or so to get our order but well worth the wait, they sandwiches were packed with toppings, nice and hot proteins, we also ordered fries with cheese dip, the french fry order was much larger than expected glad that we shared them, the cheese dip is also very tasty. We look forward to our next sandwich.

This place nails the things that make a good cheesesteak: awesome bread, ribeye and cheese whiz…read more Unfortunately the last few times we ate here, portions have been getting smaller and the breads been burnt. I'm not asking for it to be like it was, with meat and cheese bursting out of the roll, but give me meat through the last bite, please!

So flavourful! You'll wish you lived next door! For real! We split the Santa Barbara with jalapeños. OMG. Best Philly we've had in the PNW!

Full disclose: I came very close to marrying into this family but that's another story. Anyone who…read moreknows me knows that I don't blow sunshine up anyone's skirt so this is a 100% fair and accurate review of the food they serve. I've actually spent a lot of time in Philadelphia so I know what a Philly Cheese Steak sangwich is supposed to taste like. Purists will say that the Philly here isn't totally authentic and that would be true, however they serve up a mighty good sandwich all the same. There's maybe a dozen or so places in Philly where you can get "the real deal". Lots more places in Philly (and elsewhere) offer a "Philly cheese steak" sandwich but they, too, are hardly authentic. So let's put that to rest. I had what's known as the provy witout. No whiz, no peppers. Just meat and cheese. Prit-T-good! Ordered the whole sandwich, which was actually two sandwiches for ~ $12. Waaaay too much even for a big guy like me. The steak was a tasty cut, grilled to perfection with the cheese cooked right into the meat as it should be. No complaints at all. The roll was as authentic as you can expect considering how far away a Philly bakery is. Unless you feel like traveling 3,000 miles this sandwich ought to keep even the fussiest folks happy. On a side note, I don't know how these food trucks make any money anymore. What with the reduced hours due to this scamdemic nonsense... they were open at this location for two hours. I believe that this was their only gig for the day. They did have a steady flow of customers but still. At ~$12 a pop they aren't taking in a lot of dough. Then you have a couple of hours of prep and cleanup time (no revenue there), the cost of materials, fuel, licenses, fees, overhead, equipment depreciation and so on.... the owner plus one employee plus childcare so she can work the business...... it's a LOT of work and not a huge reward. For them it must be a labor of love because no one gets rich operating one of these trucks. I always try to support local businesses and this is definitely a local business worth coming to visit.

Added a side of baked beans 9/10 for both the beans and sandwiches. Great portion sizes, the sandwiches were overflowing with meat. The sauce to meat ratio was perfect. Not too sloppy, but not dry either. Wishing there was a bit more coleslaw flavor but the pickles and onions made up for it. Coming from a Texan missing some homemade bbq, I will be coming back here again!! 10/10 service - We were told 20 min, we got everything in 5. Staff were incredibly nice!

The café itself is simple, clean, and cozy, with a small outdoor seating area available. Their menu features a variety of sandwiches and burgers to choose from. On a previous visit, I tried the elk burger, which was excellent. This time, I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The bread was lightly toasted, the portion of meat was generous, and the sandwich itself was hearty and satisfying. Service was quick and efficient, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch. While the space is modest, it is well-maintained and comfortable. They also operate a butcher shop next door, which has become one of my favorite places to purchase quality meats--I plan to review that separately in the future. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

I came in for a sandwich this week - my usual "Original" with high quality sliced ribeye, grilled onions and a fair amount of melted cheese. The bonus today was as I was leaving the manager asked "what did you have?" As I answered he offered me a bonus sandwich to-go that they had made for someone in error. This generous offer cemented my loyalty for life. I love Philadelphia's and will announce their praises from the rooftops of Canby.

The food smelled amazing however it did take an excruciating a long time to come out. We honestly thought we were gonna have to go up and see whether or not they had forgotten us. It took so long once we got the sandwich. There was plenty of food and we got the pepper cheesesteak and it was good like the meat was good. The peppers and mushrooms were good, but we did ask for additional mushrooms and they're very little in there. And in the scheme of things, they really wasn't that much inside for the sandwich and it was definitely lacking insult which of course could be me. As someone who knows Phillies from Philly I don't know. I still want to try them out for other sandwiches, but I don't know about the Philly.

Atmosphere: Food truck pod…read more Food: I was very excited when I got the cheesesteak. It was piping hot and I had high hopes, especially with Whiz. The whiz was done right and was nice and thin as opposed to being too thick like some places do it. I appreciated the idea behind putting multiple cheese types in here, but I think it probably would have been better with just whiz. Unfortunately, my biggest gripe with this sandwich was that the meat used was pretty clearly chopped up burger meat as opposed to the typical shaved steak that you would typically encounter in a cheesesteak. While I hoped that this wouldn't make too much of a difference and would still be an enjoyable sandwich, I just couldn't overlook it as I ate the sandwich. Price: $17 for a cheesesteak (as of June 12, 2025). Reubens were $19. Prices are a bit high in my opinion Service: Excellent service. Very friendly and accommodating Parking: Street parking.
