There's a decent variety of about a dozen different businesses here, from donuts, to ramen to Indian, Thai, and more, plus a bar at the center. There's also always a line for just about everything, particularly the booze, so come prepared and patient. Seating can be a bit of a musical chairs-esque scramble as well, but that only further attests to the quality and popularity of this place. Don't overlook it as I did...pop in and see for yourself! The noodles at Matsunoki Ramen in particular are not to be missed!

The location is not ideal in terms of access and some of the typical challenges you would expect in downtown Portland. Otherwise, it's a fun experience for an occasional visit and the food options are plentiful. There are about eight food concepts in total on the perimeter of the building with a main bar in the center. I went with a rice bowl from one spot and had a few of the mini donuts from the other location for dessert. I also saw a Thai food concept, a smoothie bar and a ramen spot. There are a lot of different seating options available, but none of them are particularly comfortable. When I went for dinner, the place was only about half full and the trash area was a little bit unkempt. Parking is available on the street or in adjacent lots but everything is paid during typical daytime hours from about 8 AM until about 7 PM. The bathrooms do require an access code but are available on site. Personally, I feel like this place had a bit more clout when it first opened before the pandemic. But, it still has some relevance and it's a great spot for a casual meal just because of the variety of options that are available. If you come with a group, everyone can try what they like. Overall, a good showcase of some under the radar food establishments that conglomerate in a fun shared space. Check it out!

Let's get into it. Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.

Dog friendly, Kid friendly, 100-year old friendly. Lots of clean and tidy indoor and outdoor cafeteria-style seating to choose from. Carts are covered from the rain, but outside. Beer and Espresso served and paid for inside. Restrooms are accessible and inside. Carts will give you a buzzer to notify you when the order is ready, so you can go walk around or find a seat while you wait. It was very busy this particular day, but no problem, all the carts seemed to be prepared for that! Just a lot of friendly faces who understood we needed to drool over all the menus before arriving somewhere. We landed on Premier Japanese Hibachi and loved all the flavor. Some of the freshest shrimp and yakisoba I have ever had. We also had the grilled shrimp and steak. TIP: don't forget to ask how you want your steak because it is made to order! The sauces on the side were perfect for dipping and sharing. Unfortunately, the portions did feel small for $18 a plate. Also, how to order water with your meal was confusing- another worker said just go inside. Eventually I saw signs that water is free with purchase or $1, but you would think it would be obvious. Overall, Premier Japanese Hibachi and everything else was a hit, 10/10, TY!

It's popular destination for tourists' shopping since there's no sales tax. The common spaces are wide, clean and have lots of open sky windows. There are plenty of sitting spots available as well for guests. We were in the mall for about 5 hours. We shopped in the Lego store, Tumi, VS, Dick's, 85C Bakery, and BoxLunch. We had friendly interactions from staff members in the all the stores. We also went to the food court on second floor, which was underwhelming compared to rest of the mall. The dining space had old tiles on the floor, the chair and tables were basic ones. There were 10-12 stores available offering a variety of cuisines. The food was decent from couple of stores we tried. Prices were little bit expensive. Overall we had wonderful half day spent shopping and dining at this mall. Five Stars The Mall That Still Gets It Right…read more Let me start off by saying this. I'd love to hit every single spot in here and give them all their moment, but you're only getting a handful of my favorites because this place is massive. And honestly, that's part of the charm. Clackamas Town Center is what a mall is supposed to be. You've got the movie theater, a legit food court, a full-on carousel, and hundreds of shops that'll keep you wandering longer than you planned. And here's something real. When it's hot outside or you've got kids bouncing off the walls, stepping into that air conditioning feels like you just made a life decision that matters. You'll walk this place and accidentally get your steps in. It's the kind of exercise you don't argue with. They've got little things that make a difference too. A koi pond that slows you down for a second. Kid corners where families can reset. It's not just shopping. It's an experience you can stretch into a whole afternoon without even trying. Now let's talk convenience, because this place nails it. TriMet runs right through here with both bus and MAX light rail access. There's a park and ride, which is clutch. You can literally park your car and take the MAX straight out to Portland International Airport and skip the airport parking headache. That alone makes this place a power move. And the surrounding lineup is stacked. You've got the Residence Inn right in the mix, plus food spots like Claim Jumper, Oswego Grill, Mezcaluna, and fun like Dave and Buster's. Whether you're eating, hanging out, or making a night of it, it's all right there. Fun fact time. This mall first opened back in 1981 and has gone through multiple expansions to become one of the largest shopping centers in Oregon. It's also one of the few in the region that still feels modern, alive, and constantly evolving while others have slowed down or faded out. Inside, you've got everything from AT&T to REI and more shops than you'll realistically hit in one trip. You can come here for a couple errands and somehow lose a few hours without regret. Only downside. Parking can be a mission. You might end up a bit of a walk out. But honestly, that just adds to the experience. More steps, more time, more reason to wander. In my opinion, this is the mall in the Portland area. The others might exist, but this one actually delivers. It's clean, it's modern, it's full of life, and it gives you a reason to come back. If you're anywhere nearby and wondering where to go, this is it.

Since Oregon has no sales tax, this mall is popular destinations for tourist, saving them some extra dollars. As we explored the mall, it looked clean and well maintained. In the common area there was a nice water fountain. The food court space wasn't too exciting other than it had DTF. All the stores we went had friendly staff. As their name denotes, their noodles are hand-pulled. While their menu is limited, this just means that they can focus their efforts on creating quality dishes. For only $14, the beef noodle soup is quite reasonably priced, and actually a full meal. I've had an experience with a food cart in the past where the portion size did not reflect the price point, but not here. The beef noodle soup here is on par at what you'd get at a sit-down restaurant. It's packed with tender beef, plenty of noodles, veggies, and a piping hot broth. Chili oil was unnecessary, as it already came with some on top. The broth itself was clear, yet still had the correct spices that beef noodle soup is known for. This food cart was pretty popular. Other patrons were ordering some of the dry noodle dishes such as the noodle salad or dan dan noodles. Everything from their kitchen looked so good, but as a soup kinda gal, I'm glad I ultimately went with the beef noodle soup. While I cannot speak for the flavor profiles of the other dishes Stretch the Noodle has to offer, from my experience enjoying the beef noodle soup, it's safe to say that I was very happy with my lunch and would love to return to this food cart the next time we visit PDX. Additionally, as I try to be eco-conscious, my food was served in a reusable container, which I saved after devouring my meal and washed instead of throwing it out.

I ordered the Biang Biang noodles for myself and requested mild spice. I love that you get to customize the spiciness because I was a little worried the chili oil noodles would be too spicy. The hand-stretched noodles have the best texture and the flavor was indescribable, honestly. One order was almost 3 meals for me (I don't eat big lunches) and the quality was unmatched. It's only been a week since I went to the cart and I've been craving it again ever since. I didn't even take a picture of my meal, I just dove in. The smell was just too tantalizing. My only complaint is that the hours make it difficult to get over there, but if I plan it right I can make it work and the food is well worth the effort.
