Do not use these movers. The owner is a nasty, unprofessional woman who takes no responsibility for the damages done by her staff. They put tears in three leather chairs, dented a desk, a wall unit and broke the mirrored doors on a cabinet. She sent someone to fill in the dents on my desk and one wall unit and did nothing to fix the tears in three chairs. She even accused me of damaging my own chairs. I advised her I had video of all the furniture before it went on their truck and then she stopped accusing me. She did not repair the mirrored doors on the other wall unit and it is costing me $665 to repair them. She stated they pay $.60 per pound for the damages done. The chairs weighed 19 lbs, 19 lbs, and 31 lbs. The mirrored wall unit was damaged on two sections weighing 212 lbs and 106 lbs. She sent me a check for $41 which I returned since it is not close to the amount owed. 387 lbs. X .60 = $232.20. The $232 does not begin to cover all the furniture that was damaged due to carelessness. read more

We have used Pardee Moving many times & we wouldn't use anyone else. We moved our entire household to Ocala from Tampa & they didn't miss a beat. The movers were on time & courteous,also the price for this move was amazing especially for what we had to have moved & the other quotes were a bit out of our range! I might add we didn't have 1 item scratched, dented or any issues with this move or the other moves with this company & we have used their storage facilities which we have been thankful they have security & a/c units. Highly recommend. I live in Virginia, and they helped us coordinate a move of my father's unoccupied home in Florida to his new home in South Carolina, all in the middle of the quarantine. They were in constant touch with us to make sure they had all the correct belongings packed, and delivered everything on time and without any problems. We had a Pod full of boxes , furniture , a lawn tractor, a generator etal that my wife and I were going to attempt to move with our small SUV. We hired 3 guys for 3 hours from Pardee and are happy we did ! The guys were on time ,professional and courteous and moved all our stuff across town to a storage unit in less than 3 hours! Worst movers I have ever used. Unbelievable amount of damage to our furniture and very unprofessional. All the lead guy would do is talk, one of the other guys stood around and basically watched but the other guy was a real worker. They were just so careless and wanted to get it done quickly. They sent their furniture fixer Robert out after weeks of trying to get it done and he was very, very good. But I just don't think there needs to be a furniture fixer on the" payroll". It should be done right the first time. I understand a few nicks and scrapes, but this was crazy. Drawer broken in my dresser , lid ripped off our blanket chest, wood broken in our entertainment center, broken office light, broken door in our entertainment center, huge scratches on top of our dresser and blanket chest. They kept complaining about how heavy our furniture was. Well, ya....solid wood. Horrible. read more

Horrible experience. After my father's death, my brother and I hired Pardee to move his furniture to our homes. After causing about $700 in damage during the move, they spent 3 months not returning phone calls or emails, always promising to get right back to me when I got someone to pick up. When I was finally able to pin them down (or wear them down since they never bothered to contact me) they offered $.60 per lb of the furniture. This is the most miserable group of cretins you could think to do business with. They are not at all interested in doing the right thing. The most arrogant people I've dealt with in a long time .I had to call twice to get a response then I'm told by a rather curt individual that to move personal belongings ,kitchen items etc and a small living room set would take three people a minimum of three hours and $305.00 ! We moved March 24th. They did such a good job that my husband tipped each of them quite well. Well, at first I was very pleased with the crew - they were on time, professional, and they helped us with everything - getting the furniture out of the sold house and into the new house. They carried things out of the attic that would have taken us a few days to get down. They even carried out some things we were giving to the Humane Society. They pointed out one night stand that had somehow been damaged as they were unwrapping the furniture - a corner of a mirror was shattered. It is a beveled mirror attached to the actual night stand. The crew said we would be hearing from someone to fix it within a couple days. We called Pardee around 2 weeks later. They said they would look up the paperwork and give us a call back. Never happened. April 20th we sent an email to Pardee and it was answered April 21st with apologies, and they asked if we could send a picture ..... "I need to send them (to) our furniture repair specialist and see if this is something that he can fix." I sent 3 pictures on April 22nd. Again, there was no answer. A week later, April 29, I again sent an email asking if we could get this finished since we are expecting out-of-state company with children, and I don't want the children to possibly get hurt on the broken glass. It is now May 7 and no answer. It's not that big of a deal. It's just the fact that they came highly recommended and then for this to happen has really tainted my respect for them. Because of this, something that probably could have been fixed in a matter of maybe an hour, no, I would not recommend them to a friend. read more

BUYER BEWARE. I ordered moving service from Pardee. The move was fully insured I was guaranteed. The truck at the company did not start that day so they had to go rent a truck that delayed the move till noon. Two guys showed up late when the contract was for three movers. The moving guys were OK and the move appeared to go well. The next day I tried to start one of the two TVs moved by Pardee. I took my LG 65" TV from the wood box I had purchased for safety. The TV was broken and the picture was cracked. I immediately called Pardee to make a claim and was greeted by a lady who asked me to send an email with pictures. I sent pictures of the TV and the box as requested. When I called a week later a guy named Russel finally spoke to me after holding for over half an hour. He said, "How do I know that the TV was working anyway?" I told him I had plenty of witnesses including my kids. I asked him why would I pack a broken TV? He did not answer and hung up me. I called several times to be put on hold for an hour and nobody came to the phone. This is a common practice in this company. It's my total loss of an $1,800 TV set. I now realize that I have been snookered without recourse. read more

Wow, unbelievably BAD customer service on the part of the people in the office, Melissa in particular. We set up a small move, agreed on a price and set a date on a Wednesday. Furniture was delivered, but moving guys forgot to bring the hardware to attach mirrors and put bed together, said they could come back on Friday - and I had already paid for the move at this point. When they hadn't shown by early afternoon on Friday, I started calling the office. Left a somewhat frantic message, no return call. Got Melissa the next time, who acted as if she was angry with me! I called **4** more times and no one ever picked up, I left frantic messages (I had no bed set up to sleep in!), and NEVER got a call back. The mover guys did show up finally after 6 p.m. and were extremely nice, quick, and efficient. Never did hear from Melissa or anybody else from all the messages I left. Do yourself a favor and choose a different moving company. read more

Well at first I was going to give pardee 5 stars...however...we moved August 28th. My husband moved a marble table with this trailer as this table is extremely important to him...one of the movers insisted on moving it for him. Rightfully so...so my husband left him only to have a hands so wet w sweat that I broke and shattered. It's October 9th....NUMEROUS calls to them about getting it fixed...NEVER a phone call back yet. The answer is we will call you back on it. Well now they can't find a piece of marble to match...which I figured...so I asked I they could just get a piece of marble that is close to replace it. She said...no we will just issue a check...I said...the table is already at the repair...instead of me having to take to table back...just get me another table top. Okay..call you back...two days later still nothing. I'm tired of this chase. This is not a hard fix...and they are avoiding their responsibility. Beware if you use them. The movers were amazing. Have something break and your screwed. I do not recommend them at this point in time. read more
