Do not recommend. Owner of company came out to do walk through/provide estimate and to make sure our items would fit on their largest truck - said he had been doing this for 15 years so he was 99% sure our items would fit. Turns out not everything did fit - about 20 boxes had to be left along with several loose items (step stool, vacuum, etc.). I am having to make a return trip to Florida with a rental truck to go get the remainder of our items. I called the company and asked for the owner to call me regarding this situation, and I never received a phone call. It is costing me money out of my pocket: a hotel room, gas, and my time to go get the stuff that they assured me would fit in the truck. It was a definite gross miscalculation on the owner's part. In addition, we sold two large dressers and an ornate saddle that we said we're going on the truck so we should have freed up quite a bit of room and it still didn't fit. (We did not add anything to the move once the estimate had been done.) The next issue was with the deposit - after the owner came and gave us the estimate, he asked me to stop by the office with a credit card to pay for 50% of the move. I went to the office and my credit card was declined twice - no idea why. At this point, I wrote them a check. When I returned home, I called the credit card company who assured me that the charges did indeed go through, and I was given authorization numbers for the charges. They said the charges absolutely did not go through, but as soon as I got my credit card statement, I looked and sure enough, we had been overcharged twice as the two charges did go through. The way this was handled seemed very much like a scam. Company did refund us for the amount of $3000 - the money came out even in the end. The good things I have to say are that everyone in the office is extremely nice and things were addressed in a timely professional manner. The people that actually physically moved us were wonderful and were compensated generously for the hard work that they did - they sent a good moving crew. read more

They were the greatest! Second time they helped us move. They take great care of the furniture by wrapping it up in moving blankets with alot of tape. They also made sure the doors were blanketed to make sure they didn't hurt door jams. Very personable men! I would definitely use them a third time!! read more

They were able to accommodate me fairly quickly. My home sold quicker than usual. Within a week, they came out gave me an estimate and were out bright and early on our scheduled date. They were professional and careful packing the truck. I chose to pack my own boxes and ask them to load the truck and store them until I found another home. They do not store your house goods; however, they have a good relationship with the storage company located behind their business so they took my house goods and set up my storage needs. Eight months later, my goods arrive. I am an early riser and let them know incase they chose to arrive early. My goods arrived about 8:00 am. They placed the large items where I requested. They were careful and considerate, being careful with my furniture and boxes. They brought in three photos wrapped in a blanket. One of my frames was broke and a glass in a picture was broke. I was sad because I wrapped those photos in a box that fit the frames and wrapped them in bubbly wrap. Then boxes are coming in and I am noticing some of them have serious dents. Not the kind where you stack too much on top of each other - which did happen. The kind that maybe you are tired and since the home owner is not looking, you can toss a box here or there. A lamp shade has a new look ... dents and dimples. There were a few broke items ... then I notice that the back of my "click clack" couch is torn! I asked the fellows what happened and they have no clue. While I appreciate them and I would still use them, I do not recommend them storing for you. They would be best if they filled the truck and immediately took them to your new home or if you are putting something into storage - you need to be there. The one guy said they would "take care of it" meaning, I would get money off, but that never happened. Perhaps the total value was $100 or less, so I am not going to pursue; however, DO NOT LET THEM STORE YOUR GOODS FOR YOU - KEEP YOUR EYES ON THEM AT ALL TIMES. Otherwise, the cost is good. read more

This is a small outfit, probably somewhat under the radar, but one I'd recommend to anyone that needs special (or even not so special) items moved around the country. We needed a family "heirloom" moved from Florida to Kentucky. They went to my mother's house in FL, packed and loaded it and brought it to the small town in KY where I live. Neither of us had to do anything (other than pay for it of course). Cost was, IMO, very reasonable for the service rendered and I would do it over again. You should be realistic. The cost of moving a piece of junk is the same as a valuable piece of furniture. If you have a piece worth a couple of hundred dollars and want it moved halfway across the country by itself, well then, get rid of it and buy another one. read more

Awesome movers! They packed the truck perfectly and nothing was damaged during the move. I only used them to load the truck for a long distance move. I can't say enough about how wonderful this company was to me. The office was super nice and in appropriate communication with me. The gentlemen that came out to load the truck moved me out of a 2nd floor overfilled 675 square foot apartment in 2 hours. They showed up on time and were very polite and professional. This is an excellent, honest moving company that moved us from Boca Raton to Ocala. We started by receiving a quote over the phone from owner Tom and continued to stay in contact with Erica as far as scheduling, etc. Both Tom and Erica were so professional, pleasant and reliable. Our two movers were also very professional and pleasant and did a great job. My experience with this company was not great. Tom was nice when he showed up for the initial moving inspection and checklist. I was moving to an area that was just under a 2 hour drive away and we were moving a 2 bedroom house with only the large pieces of furniture and approximately 15 smaller boxes being moved, no extra packing of small items. I should have listened to my gut when the movers showed on the first day and seemed upset that they had to take some small items such as papers etc off of some furniture being moved and work around boxes. The guy in charge of the moving team said we were not prepared to move and repeatedly told my mom and I that there is a certain level of readiness that we as customers are expected to be at when the movers show. No, furniture was not freshly polished and waiting by the front door which seemed to be his expectations in the way he said things and his general attitude initially. We did make sure the path was clear so that the furniture being moved could be easily accessed and aside from some papers/file folders etc on a book case and blanket chest and of course boxes being around there was not an unmanageable amount of clutter. 2 legs were broken from an antique table after the sofa bed fell out and hit the table on the way out the door. A 44" television was left behind which was on the packing list but the stand it was on was packed. They explained to me after that my mom had told them to leave it. She said she did not tell them that. Classic he said/she said, yet it was on list list and not moved. My bed was not taken apart correctly and some connectors that held the wood slats were broken so now it cannot support the mattress so the mattress has been on the floor ever since. They did however take $100 off of my nearly $1400 bill and apologize. Had I not been extremely pressed for time with starting a new job I would have gone with a different company. I definitely walked away with a feeling that they got their money and it was just my tough luck things went this way. I would not recommend based on my experience read more

This was the worst moving experience I have ever been through. PIck up day started out with the lead saying we had too much for the two trucks, but didn't make any effort to fix that by getting another truck. Some of what I had was supposed to be picked up by a charity that didn't show up, however that part was after my estimate for this move, they should have found me another truck. The next day which was closing and I almost didn't get to close because I wasn't out of my house yet. They took the wheels off my rolling cabinets of craft supplies and many of them were cracked because of it, and I had other minor damage, not enough to turn in to them, but enough to cost me money in additional storage for everything later. I was a rough move, and the pick up day was so tiring, the people who were going to help me on moving day were not there and it was a nightmare. Find some one else to move with. read more

The movers got there early, so I paid about an hour for their wait. They were scheduled to come after 12:00, so I left GNV at the appropriate time to get there in Ocala. On the way there they called me to say that they would be early and I told them I was on the road to get there. So I paid extra for their wait.
