I can't thank the team at Affordable Moving USA enough. They made an impossible situation possible and even tolerable. I almost gave up when I found that our company had 10 calendar days to clear offices in a 73,000 sqft building. Instead, I looked up a couple moving companies. After speaking to Affordable Moving USA and doing a walk through I felt they were the best choice and had experienced movers on hand. They were able to squeeze me in and in four days we had most of the furniture over to the new location. Their office staff Angela and Erica (please correct me if the names are not correct) were great at keeping me informed of when and where the team would be. Their experience and having the right tools for the job made it possible. Never have I seen a team more dedicated to getting the job done right. This was an extremely difficult task that involved fireproof file cabinets, stairs, file cabinets almost totally full of files, multiple U shaped desk to disassemble, move and put back together. They never took lunch or complained about anything, in fact they may be cyborgs. That would explain their strength and speed. They could clear an entire office in minutes and load it on a truck. I worked with several different team members over the four days I worked with Affordable Moving USA and every one of them had the same drive and commitment. I worked most with Ben, Drew, Chad and the owner Tommy. Sorry if I got any names wrong or left anyone out and I will update this review with the correct names if I get a chance. Due to the scope of this job I did end up working with another moving company. The difference between the two moving companies was night and day. The other moving company had hired help that were not trained and lacked any focus or speed except for the lead guy. I would have to point out items multiple times and they were still left behind. I do admit it was chaotic and a monumental task, but Affordable Moving USA made it look almost easy. Couldn't have done it without Affordable Moving USA and the dedicated staff. We hired Affordable Moving USA after seeing how professional and attentive they were with an elderly neighbor. From the initial call talking to Angie and then meeting her hubby Tom who performed an onsite visit to discuss what services they offer and provide us with an estimate, it was an extremely smooth process! All of the employees communicated well, no guessing what time, who was coming on moving day, etc. It was decided that we needed two trucks to adequately handle our move. The first crew called in route and arrived ON TIME with Patrick and Paul, then close behind was Spencer and Andrew! They were polite, professional to us AND each other, very well organized, explained what they were doing along the way, had proper tools to dismantle the beds and store our possessions safely in the two trucks! Once the first truck was fully loaded they followed my husband to the other side of our community, On Top of the World, to our new home. The dogs and I remained with the 2nd truck crew. Once that was full, we conducted a walk through to confirm everything was removed that was on our list, ask any questions, etc. Then on to the new house. ANOTHER two trucks with 4 more men, Jonathan, "D", Ethan & Gabe, arrived to help our morning crew unload! Again, EXTREMELY polite, professional, just excellent young men! I will continue to go out of my way to HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this local Christian family owned and operated moving company to anyone relocating! The entire team at Affordable Moving was excellent - from the staff in the office, to the person who provided the estimate, to the men who actually moved us. The office staff handled many "annoying" questions from me in a polite and positive manner. The person who came to provide the estimate was very informative with tips and suggestions AND the cost was not an estimate at all, but a FIXED price for the move. Who Knew - what a relief to know the cost ahead of the move - unheard of. Finally the crew who actually moved us, they were courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. Each piece of furniture was wrapped in a blanket then plastic wrapped, we packed our own boxes. The furniture arrived when they said and the unloading was again very efficient. I recently contacted Affordable Moving and talked with Angela, who was great. I wanted an hourly rate and the estimate for a local move in Ocala was 225.00 per hour including everything. This was the best price I found, and I felt very comfortable with the company. Affordable Moving has a perfect status with the BBB, and a 4.9-star rating on Google based on 183 reviews - to me that was impressive, and when the owner himself came to my house I was even more impressed. Here is the update after my move. It was excellent they were so fast, I could not believe how quickly they loaded the truck! No scratches on anything and our belongings were protected. One word describes this business overall: impeccable! Their communication skills are better than any business we have ever worked with. Prior to and during the moving process, Tracey, the lead mover, kept in constant communication with us advising us where he was, when he would be leaving, when he would be arriving etc. All of their employees that we had contact with were professional, courteous, polite, and efficient. We had a few date changes for our move and they were more than happy to try and accommodate our needs. Their quote was a bit higher than the other 3 quotes we received but I know we could not be any happier with the performance from Affordable Moving. Family owned and operated company. Honest, fair, reliable and professional. Sent an estimator to my apartment complimentary to view my items , as my apartment wasn't a full 3 bedroom. Their estimator was very professional- arrived on time and in uniform! He was able to give me an exact cost estimate- more importantly, the price didn't change at all! What he told me I was to pay the day of my move- was exactly what I was told by the moving team when they did a final walk through of my new home. They worked wth me - placing my things where I needed and they protected my belongings by taking the time to cover them with moving quilts and wrapping them with plastic afterward! I have moved LOTS of times and Affordable Moving is the BEST company I have ever used! I moved from Boca to Ocala. Dillion and Chad were awesome. They arrived early, were super nice and even though I had some random stuff that wasn't packed very well they handled it with care and aplomb. They packed us up, drove to Ocala - where a third man joined them for the unpack - we were all moved in by 7 pm! They even took the boxes I managed to unpack while they were offloading the truck! We used Affordable Moving to move from a local storage unit to our new home at On Top of The World in February 2022. We scheduled the move in advance, and they were ready and accommodated the restrictive hours from the storage unit and OTOW. They showed up on time with the three movers we contracted for and quickly packed the truck, drove to our new house, and unpacked the truck. They placed all of the boxes and furniture where we requested and even assembled the office furniture with no instructions. They protected the floors and doorways. There was no damage.
