I normally don't leave reviews, but people deserve to know what living here was actually like. This place advertises itself as a "luxury" apartment complex and charges luxury level rent prices, yet somehow there were constant cockroaches and bug issues. Nothing says luxury quite like paying a premium to see roaches in your apartment AND car. PS, before signing a lease here look inside the garbage room with any flashlight to see roaches running around, don't worry they are in apartments too. Anytime concerns were brought to the office, the responses felt completely nonchalant like it was just "normal" and not something worth properly addressing. Multiple neighbors even agreed the roach problem had been ongoing for a long time, which made it even more frustrating. On top of that, there was one female office employee who was consistently rude, dismissive, and honestly just mean whenever residents had concerns. It got to the point where neighbors would warn each other about dealing with her because apparently everyone already knew how she treated people. For the amount tenants pay, nobody should have to deal with bugs everywhere while being treated like they're dramatic for complaining about it. If you're going to market yourself as luxury apartments, at the very least residents shouldn't have to live with cockroaches and mean employees. read more

This was the greatest place when we moved in, honestly I tried to get all my friends to move in because it was so great but for the last year or so this property has been ran into the ground to a point that all of building 3 will be without tenants before they know it. What started with one nasty family has become a roach infested dump and a building with an infestation so bad people are forced to leave. I have a diabetic child and she cannot live in a home with ROACHES, that is so unsanitary and we live in fear every time we have to change her pump and monitor sites because they can easily become infected. The female employee in the office frequently rolls her eyes at me when I remind her of this and shows no concern for the property she is partly responsible for. Speaking of her, watch out because she has a history of harassing tenants. If you're curious just take a walk through the property and ask anyone if they've had a positive interaction with her, the answer is likely no. Not to mention she creates an environment of hostility among tenants. There is a specific tenant who may or may not drive a white Range Rover who does not like that people socialize near that area. Some people smoke and she accuses the group of smoking on the steps every single day and the female office employee will rush to the steps to literally raise her voice at tenants when she doesn't even catch anyone smoking. The list goes on and on. I know people will read this with the typical perspective that I'm only sharing the bad things but please remember this used to be a property that was lively and tenants would bring friends to. There never were available units and now you can walk in pretty much any day of the week and have your pick. If that doesn't speak for itself I invite you to walk the property, casually talk to tenants, I promise you it will blow your mind to find out how run down this place is. And if that still isn't enough you can help yourselves to the roaches in the dumpster room of building 3 for dinner and see if that changes your mind! Just FYI: yes I have been in constant communication with the office and they do little to accept responsibility around here. Due to the unprofessional nature of the employees I do not feel I can go to the property staff with my problems any longer. I have emailed and called the regional manager with no response and good luck getting contact information above that. Greystar as an entity is as shitty as this property. SAFETY WARNING: as a domestic abuse victim I notified the office of a police report when I submitted my 30 day notice on 11/3/25. I specifically told the manager that he cannot let my ex know about the police report FOR MY SAFETY. We were on the lease together and we both had to communicate with them about the move out. This human handed the paper to my abusive ex who then questioned the manger about the police report and he told my ex that he didn't know why I wrote that on there, which then lead my abusive ex to question me about it. I have taught is Santee for 29 years and believe in integrity. I cannot, in good conscience, encourage anyone to live at ParcOne in Santee. There are definite safety and cleanliness concerns - the dog park was not sanitized in the 2.5 years we lived there, which leads to some potent smells after the rain. Dumpster rooms contain urine, feces, and overflowing trash. My biggest issue is the lack of honest business practice. We were strung along for almost 6 weeks with promises of 'negotiating a fair rent' when our lease was up. Instead, they came back with a demeaning offer, at which point we moved out. We then received 'charges' for almost $4400. After 1 contact in which I asked for proof (we did NO damage to this rental), they sent it to collections. This is NOT the kind of integrity or business we need in Santee. We were great tenants and this is how they take care of you. Be forewarned. read more

Cockroach. In your cereal. That's the kind of living situation we're talking about here. I have lived in many places over the years, and I have never experienced anything like this. After moving out of a neighboring unit due to a persistent cockroach infestation that spread throughout the entire building, I was shocked to see the unit listed online almost immediately -- with no fumigation, no proper treatment, and no real effort to resolve the issue. This is not a minor problem. The infestation is building-wide, and management has been repeatedly made aware. Despite this, they continue to advertise these units at full price as if nothing is wrong. It's deceptive, irresponsible, and unacceptable. I've lived long enough to recognize when a company is trying to cover up a serious issue, and this is exactly that. Residents have already come together and filed a class action lawsuit, and I fully intend to join it soon. On top of that, multiple residents are contacting local news networks to expose what's really going on here -- and it's only a matter of time before this company's behavior is made public. If you're considering moving here, think twice. What looks like a nice apartment online hides a serious and ongoing problem. And let me tell you -- the next time I see a roach, I'm bringing it straight to their office and setting it down on the desk. I'll tell them, "Here you go. Listen to an older woman who's lived long enough to know better--do not move here. This place is crawling with cockroaches, and no amount of spraying will ever get rid of them. I've woken up with roaches crawling on me while I slept, and it's something I wouldn't wish on anyone. The problem never ends because neighboring units refuse treatment and management refuses to make them. To make it worse, the rent goes up month after month. We really enjoyed living here. 3/2 apartment. Two parking spaces and you can pay for a covered garage. Great access to town. And it's a smoke free facility and management did a good job of cracking down on smokers and marijuana use too (plus for having kids). Unfortunately a month after we moved out we were hit with ~$2000 of damages and repairs though we worked hard to leave the apartment in good shape. YOU WILL PAY FOR ALL PAINT, CARPET REPLACEMENT and CLEANING BILL so do all that before you go. Don't get cleared by the facilities manager, but make sure it's the property manager that does the walkthrough when you leave and no one else because that's who will charge you for repairs at the end of the day. read more

Be cautious, the office will lie to you. During my stay here, they tow my car twice from my parking spot that I paid for. They never reimburse me that over $400 towing fee. There is something wrong internally with the building if you check other reviews, the electric bills here average six to $800 a month. questioning management they say oh it's just properly your use. I am rarely home and keep everything turned off. There has been a serious bug problem throughout the property. I do not believe this has been under control yet the fire marshal posted numerous violations against the property that have not been corrected. Well I'm very sad to leave this review because I found the management to be great BUT was very dissatisfied with this complex. At first I was really excited to get into this complex. The happiness soon disappeared quickly after moving in. I found it to be very expensive/way over priced and utilities are outrageous. When I asked about utilities, they were very nonchalant and now I know why. I was paying about almost $500 a month for the utilities for one person. Trash is crazy expensive, nothing is included like some places. I broke my lease after 6 months because I felt like it was very expensive for what you get. Homeless people constantly walking and riding by my apartment and asking for smokes etc, coming out of the bushes all hours of the day and night. So freaking sketchy. I did not feel safe. I paid the lease break fee after 6 months to get out. I left the place super clean and they not only charged me $2500 to break my lease but they took my whole deposit and charged me for carpet cleaning and apartment cleaning and paint which I was told normal wear and tear was not chargeable. I owned a cleaning business and I also lived alone as a OCD neat freak. NO stains on carpet which they said there was. They charged for cleaning and paint which was outrageous since you just got a full months rent out of me and I left it spotless. Soooooo sad with how they handled things. I can go on and on. Stay clear of this place it's a rip off. Like I said staff was great but not worth what they are charging and they will get you on the deposit. Attached are pics of how I left the apartment. One of the worst places I've lived. It smells from the dog pee/poop. You can hear the slamming of weights and grunting from people at the gym. no matter the complaints, the office does nothing about it. Even loud neighbors, we are told to call a number to complain. Each month the trash goes up and up, they nickel and dime you for everything. I lived there for 2 years and had no complaints. They took care of maintenance in a timely manner and the office staff was friendly and helpful. The was a work assignment for me so I put no pictures on the wall or did any other damage to the walls. When I move out it was 3 weeks before my final move out date and I had a professional cleaning company come clean the apartment after I moved out and before the final move out date. The Maintenance Supervisor walked my apartment with me and said that this was the cleanest apartment he had seen in a long while and I was good to go with. He commented that they could move some one in to my apt. tomorrow with not prep on their part. This was in august 2024. I get a call from a debt collector saying I have a $206 dollar balance placed with them for collections. I had never been notified about this. when I told them that it was inspected by Parc one and Passed they asked if I had a written and signed letter stating this from parc one. I did not and did not think it was necessary because of how I had been previously treated. So when you leave MAKE SURE YOU GETTE A SIGNED LETTER STATING WHAT DAMAGES THEY SAY YOU NEED TO PAY FOR BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH MAKING UP BILLS TO CHARGE YOU ONCE YOU HAVE LEFT. The problems I have had is that the complex was bought out by Greystar and the place has gone down hill every since. the walkways leading to each unit has not been cleaned in two years. but the rent goes up every year at lease 300.00 dollars. They started charging for everything pest control, water, insurance on the building, sewer changes, trash and recycling. The commons look good but the fire pits, BQ don't work. in the stairway I go down everyday to get to my car has beds and couch's stored in it. If your thinking about moving in this is an all electric building so your SDGE bill will run you $450.00- 700.00 dollars monthly. An average two bedroom here with all the extra fees and cable and SDGE will run you almost $4000.00 monthly. think of that before you sign a lease. I wanted to leave an update after living at the Parc One community for one year. We ended up not renewing our 1 bedroom lease because we chose to move out of state (for cheaper cost of living), but I really loved living at Parc One! The community was clean and maintenance requests were quickly addressed. The apartments were well insulated and the only time I heard neighbors was when people were passing by my front door in the hallway. There was construction going on next to our apartment while we lived there - townhouses were being built. The noise was not unbearable though especially with the windows closed. The apartments are walking distance from Santee Town Center and I routinely walked to Target and other food places. It gets VERY hot in Santee during the summer but this complex had central AC which made living there very comfortable. Parking is limited, if you have a lot of cars this complex might not be for you. You get 1 assigned parking spot per apartment and the spaces are tight so you have to be careful how you park. Visitor parking seemed to be well enforced, we never had problems have parking available when visitors come to see us. The apartment is located right by the San Diego river (which means lots of mosquitos) BUT during some parts of the year you are able to hear frogs at night and it was soooo relaxing! Rachel Skakie was the leasing specialist who helped us during our move-in and move-out process. She was so helpful the entire time we lived there! If you decide to move in assume you will not get your deposit back unless you are leaving the apartment in pristine condition! The reason for this is that you are not charged for your first 2 months of utilities (water, trash, and sewer) so this is taken out of your deposit when you move out, in addition to the normal move-out cost like painting, cleaning, ect. Knowing this ahead of time will hopefully give you realistic expectations about the move-out process. The parking is horrendous, absolutely horrible. You get 1 parking spot for a 2 bedroom apartment. Guest parking is few and far between and hours are limited. Parking passes for guests must be registered and placed in vehicle if the guest plans on staying past 10pm (new pass EVERY DAY). I myself have paid a drop fee of $100. Thankfully I saw the tow company pick my vehicle up. Tow company (Western Towing) explained that as long as the tenant has authorized the parking pass prior to 10pm, NO pass needs to be shown in vehicle (meaning i don't need to physically walk down a pass every night to place in car). Western Towing can see the pass has been registered based on license plate. I have come to realize this is NOT the case. Western Towing has now towed my friends vehicle with a parking permit fully registered (all documented), yet...we were still charged $317 to get out of impound. Seems to me that it is a pre requisite to have a printer to live at this shitty overpriced apartment complex and actually enjoy company that may come over from time to time. And, apparently the leasing office could give a crap. What GREAT customer service. In all honestly, I've moved around quite a bit for work in my life and have NEVER felt soooooo taken advantage of by two companies that are clearly in Cahoots. This place is a nightmare. The property is poorly managed and parking is horrendous. There is only 1 space per unit for residents and only 4 guests allowed past 10PM per month. If anyone tells your that you can park in future resident parking or that you won't be towed as long as the permit was valid on reliant and in the system. CAREFULLY write the permit # out if you don't have access to print. If the tow driver can't read your writing, they will still tow you!!! I have spent 4,900$ in tow storage charges and fees from Western Towing and I've only lived here 6 months. Once for parking in my own garage and didn't get my car back for over 4 days with no help from the leasing office. I have had more than 5 friends towed from guest parking for "read between the line" reasons and made many complaints, inquires to the leasing office and Reliant Parking. It's clear they are running a ponzy scheme! My unit was in perfect view of the entire parking lot and the things I saw Western Towing and their "spotters" (people hired to stake out the parking lot waiting for someone to take advantage of as soon as clock strikes 10PM) usually sketchy unmarked vehicles and men in dark clothing stalking the lot like sharks. Western Towing and RVMD Property Management are crooked and deserve to be criminalized for the relentless and cruel enforcement of parking rules in their guests and other patrons. They clearly could care less about facilitating an apartment complex for residents to feel at home and are happier making a quick buck. FAIR WARNING. DO NOT RENT HERE. YOU WILL BE SORRY. The leasing office is incompetent and it takes an arm and a leg to get through to them via phone email or even during the hours in which the office is supposed to be open for anything. read more

Parking is terrible. If your guest are in guest parking without a permit past 10, they will tow right away. Also if you're a resident do not park in any guest or leasing spots or you'll be towed right away. Extra spots are very expensive to have if you have more than one car. Be aware of what spots are visitors & which ones are guest. Walls are super thin like any apartment complex however if anyone is talking in your hallway or even walking by your door you will hear their conversations as they will yours. Any doors that close in your building you will hear as well. Keep record of when you pay rent. One month we paid rent, & they said we hadn't yet. When we went in to clarify that we turned it in -they found it & said it was because we putting it under their mat, when we actually handed it to one of the girls in the office but she had miss placed it. There has been nervous occasions of the police showing up. There have been break in to peoples homes, domestic issues & car breaks ins. There is a sweet maintenance man who is always smiling & a joy to have at the complex. By far the best employee at this complex from a pure friendly /welcoming perspective. Although many residents are friendly dog owners, there or a few loud, terribly rude kids/teenagers who live by the building not attached to the leasing office. Occasional you get the chance to hear their parents scream at them across the hallway. Don't move here. You can find a more luxury place to live that isn't in Santee for a much better price elsewhere. My family of 3 lived in Parc One for 2 1/2 years, recently moving out when we bought a house. There are a lot of negative reviews for this complex, but overall, we had a good experience there. We were lucky to have a beautiful west-facing view from our 4th floor apartment, and I loved hearing the frogs in the riverbed after a rainy day. The location is ideal for people who love walking - Mast Park and Town Center Community Park are a short distance away, as well as lots of shopping. We regularly used the community pool, gym, fire pits, rooftop deck, and playground amenities. This is also a dog-friendly complex that includes a little enclosed dog park. There are a few cons, as mentioned in other reviews, but these things were never really a big issue for us. As with any apartment, the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors walking around above you. You have to decide before you move in if you can tolerate living on a lower floor with people above you, because you WILL hear them, especially kids and dogs. The parking situation can be annoying if you're someone who regularly has guests staying overnight. The tow truck will make its rounds regularly. Upon move-out, be prepared to lose most of your security deposit, even if you kept the place in good condition. I was shocked by the itemized list of fees we paid. We also heard from some of our friends in the complex that after we moved out, the management was drastically increasing rent prices. Overall, I don't regret our time there at all. It was a great place to live while we saved up a down payment for a house, but if we had planned on living there long-term I think we would have been more annoyed with the inconveniences mentioned above, and in other reviews. read more

INITIAL REVIEW FROM OCT 2019 (harassed by corporate until it was removed shortly after). I moved in yesterday. I regret it. My unit was not cleaned before move in. There is some nasty sticky substance by the fridge, the floors, the sinks, counters, cabinets, drawers, and tubs were all filthy. Additionally, the carpets need to be replaced and the carpet guys are almost 2 hours late. I have a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom, and we are only allowed 1 parking space. We have to pay $25 for our space; this spot is extremely tight and I have to do a 3-5 point turn to park properly each time. For a second space we were told at move-in that it's $65-85 per month. I had to reschedule my internet hook up since I have all of my belongings in the living room until the carpet guys show up. The insulation is terrible. I hear all of my neighbors and every little noise outside. I hear running water constantly from the neighbors showering and flushing their toilets. I have a California King bed and now that I'm in here I can already tell there will be ZERO walking room once I set it up. So far I hate everything about this experience. DO NOT move here! I should have read the reviews first, I hope you do!! Additionally, before move in, the property management was not helpful at all. I had to be extremely pro-active to get anything done; I basically had to do their job, it was very unprofessional UPDATE (February 2020, we moved out after lease term of 13 months): Lori Young, the regional manager harassed me until I took down the initial review. I have emails to support this if they want to dispute my claim and will gladly post screenshots to this yelp page. Well, now that I'm moved out, I'm putting it back up. I was charged a cleaning fee for my carpets despite them being in perfect condition and Bryan (the property manager) told me verbally at our preliminary walk through that I would not be charged; he failed to come to the final walk through. This company is god awful and so are the apartments. They wanted to raise our rent 30%!!! This is absurd! We were perfect tenants and this is how they treated us. We noticed most of the neighbors would move out after a year, I see why. Additionally, there is a god awful smell that will come out of the pantry space. It smells of sewage and was like that the entire 13 months. Management played stupid whenever we brought it up. We had an upstairs neighbor who would literally bang on the floors and walls at all hours of the night. Management told us this is normal and to deal with it. I moved into Parc One Santee at the end of May and can't say enough great things about this property. I know people usually only take the time to leave negative remarks and I never usually post a positive review, but I felt I needed to share here. Marissa and Rachel helped me so much when I suddenly found out my previous landlord was selling and I was put in a quick move situation. The initial apartment I was coming to see got leased and they had another that was put on notice and gave me first dibs before posting it online. The market is crazy right now in SD and things are leasing as soon as 24 hours. The move in and approval process was seamless. They answered every question I had promptly and professionally. I love my new place. Spacious and open floor plan. I have an amazing view of the mountain range around the building. Great pool and hot tub which is never crowded. Location is close to everything. I can literally walk to target and chuze fitness across the street. After move in, any request I have made has been answered quickly and resolved immediately. I had an issue with my assigned parking spot and Marissa was quick to accommodate and move me to another location. I'm glad I moved to Parc One and it is an awesome, clean, modern and quiet community to live at. I highly recommend. read more

This rating is based on my experience with the leasing office and my impressions with the facility during a walkthrough. Personnel: Unfortunately our first impression with the Parc One staff was not a good one. We went in to speak with someone at the leasing office on 2/11. The representative who helped was unenthusiastic as she gave us the basic information about the property. Both my wife and I got the distinct impression that we were viewed as a nuisance than as potential tenants. This impression was only reinforced as we toured the property. As we were looking around the one bedroom floor plan, the representative stayed in the corner with her nose glued to her phone, not even looking up to answer questions. At the end of the tour we had some questions about pricing which she could not answer, but assured us that the Manager would call us back first thing Monday to discuss our questions. Given the overall attitude presented from the staff, I am not at all surprised that we were never contacted. Facility: The modern and clean(ish) facility looks very nice at first glance, but a closer look reveals unkempt grounds, security issues and distinct lack of parking. This place is definitely dog friendly (one of the reasons we looked here first), but it looks like most of the current tenants do not bother to clean up after their pets. The landscaping is expertly maintained, but if you look around, you will see dog poop scattered between the drought resistant plants. The dog park was mostly clean, but it is dirt, which will lead do dirty pups. The hallways do not have any exterior security, so packages left by the doors could easily go missing. There were vagrants camping back behind the building in the riverbed. All in all, this place could be awesome if they could find someone to sell it. It seems that the housing crunch in San Diego has caused Apartment owners to become complicit. The people who work in the leasing office at Parc One seem like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to rent, if they ever bother call you back. read more

So disappointed. We happily signed a lease with high rent for an apartment, as opposed to a house for the same price or less, as the apartments were brand new and had ameneties we liked. We chose the ground floor because I personally lived in San Francisco for a few years and lived in a high rise 10 stories up. Needless to say I never wanted to worry about long trips from the car to my apartment again, but here I am dealing with having to park on almost the opposite end of the complex. They gave the 3 bedrooms only 2 parking spaces and came up with a guest parking rule after we moved in that blows my mind as to how ridiculous it is. Why on earth would we get a spare bedroom for family visiting from out of town when they can't even park here? We even told them we wanted a spare bedroom for that reason and they used it as a selling point. To be fair they did say that we may only get 2 spots depending on the final design, but they assured us there would be ample guest parking. What's maddening is the place is still half empty, and they refuse to let us park in any other spaces until the other units fill up. We've been here for over 6 months and other tennants have not been flocking here to sign up, which is why I can't understand why they don't want to keep their current tenants happy. We have to park more than halfway across our complex, and walk by the empty spaces on a nightly basis. Bikes have also been stolen, which is one of the reasons it is so upsetting having to park so far away at night when safety is obviously an issue. As you can see from their response to other unhappy Yelpers they have no intention of rectifying the situation. We are paying a higher price specifically to receive better service, and they choosing are choosing to ignore the concerns of their target market. The walls are also paper thin, packages have been stolen, and the lighting outside the trash unit we are forced to use is non existent. You can hear your neighbor's tv and of course anything that goes aross the floor. Needless to say we have voiced our concerns in person in a polite manner and we have been told repeatedly they have no control over the planning. While the complex is beautiful it is not worth the money. read more

This is by far one of the best complexes I have lived in, me and my husband are hard working couple and quite peaceful living is really impotent to us. We moved here from Texas without knowing San Diego at all! The office crew is absolutely amazing the girls are constantly helping with any issues or questions the manager is absolutely lovely always smiling always polite never ignore the residents problems or concerns even the maintenance is the highest quality that I've ever run into its top-of-the-line the apartments are amazing there is a lot of space security is always there for any concern, it's a very friendly complex even the residence are extremely sweet and nice not to mention that the best part is that it's one of the most affordable complexes that I've seen. I've lived here for seven months now and can honestly say this place is amazing. The layout of the units are nice and open, the amenities provided are great, and the surrounding area has anything you could want in less than a five minute drive. The walls are insulated very well because there is VERY little noise - it's very peaceful. I noticed a lot of other reviews complaining about visitor parking and getting towed. I've never had an issue with this. The rules are very simple when it comes to parking - don't take your anger out on this property because of a mistake you had made. Santee Trolley Square is a three minute walk away and my guests have never had a problem parking there when there aren't any visitor spots available. read more

My husband and I moved in just over a month ago into a two bedroom top floor corner unit. After talking to a few other tenants and reading other past reviews I'll go over the pros and cons. Pros: Everything is brand new, most likely you will be the first tenants living in the unit. Large kitchen, large storage room by front door/across from kitchen(we put metal racks to use as storage/pantry) Granite countertops, wood floors throughout, carpet in bedrooms only. Large balcony Great views San Diego Christian college next door Large Sports park, ymca behind complex: perfect for a run. Often see people out running Fenced dog play area Staff is friendly Pool is nice: they did raise the pool temp from what I heard and I've enjoyed it and have been fine. Handicap accessible Parking for us is good too. I can see how some tenants might not get as lucky. Close to the 52, 67, 125 One security guard seen late at night Large washer/dryer Love being so close to the shopping center with almost everything you would need. Cons: Poor construction of front door, it makes a huge jolt loud noise due to a gap when neighbors let go of their doors when coming and going. Gets me everytime! I would agree walls can be a bit thin. Kids off-roading behind complex which is all fine but they use our parking lot sometimes to fly through. Almost got hit by a car full of kids illegally driving down the sidewalk behind the complex when I was walking my dog. Transients live in the riverbed but haven't personally seen them in the complex. Dog park is all dirt, and people don't pick up after their dogs inside the play area. Small-medium bedrooms Small showers Overall it's a friendly place with young couples and families. My advise like with any apartments is get a top unit to avoid noise. *Two bedroom units have a larger kitchen plus storage room. Three bedroom units master bedroom is large. We moved in here right when it opened and lived there for 2 years. When we moved in, we noticed quite a few different places where the construction crew had "cut corners" in order to finish the buildings on time. (For instance, our door leading to the patio didn't have any weather stripping along the bottom to keep rain out, so the first time it rained, our living room had puddles in it. Maintenance fixed it right away.) Being within walking distance of so much is one of the huge benefits to living here. The Sports Complex, Mast Park, Walmart, Michaels, Buffalo Wild Wings, Target, Phil's, Bed Bath and Beyond, Barnes and Noble, etc. There is no shortage of things to do. The gym is better than most apartment gyms. Plenty of free weights, a few machines, treadmills and ellipticals. The only down side is that punk teenagers steal the dumbbells. We enjoyed using the rooftop patio once in a while. Very peaceful when no one else is up there. The price for renting a garage is too high considering there is no storage inside the spaces. And you have to be really good at pulling into a tiny space. The biggest downfall: these buildings are structurally made of concrete, so you can hear EVERYTHING below and above you. The floors and walls don't muffle any sound. We lived next to a stairwell and we could always hear people going up and down the stairs and letting the door slam loudly. Perks: bright and open living area. Beautiful views. Nice gym. Easy access to stores/restaurants/hiking trails. Pet friendly. A word of warning, the "river" is just behind this complex so if you plan on being outside in the summer evenings, you will need bug repellant or prepare to be eaten alive by mosquitos. read more

Jessica=Unprofessional customer service. Please people save your hard earned dollars and don't move here. The new manager Jessica is extremely rude and stuck up. She has an attitude like she is entitled to everything. Myself and other residents have complained about her nasty attitude. She has no business managing. Please take heed to the most recent reviews. The Residents: I have came across decent and nice residents for the most part. However the floor that I live on have residents that consistently smoke marijuana that comes the vents of my apartment on a daily basis. We have called countless times to complain but nothing was ever done. Also dogs poop and piss all over the property. They try to to keep the grounds clean but the residents don't care. I also know of prostitution and drug dealing going on on my floor since they constantly smoke marijuana and strange men are in and out of this one female's house. There are a few decent new residents that have just moved in so hopefully it gets better. Parking: The parking is extremely expensive. The garage parking is $85 monthly. Oh yeah sometimes more than often the clickers stop working and hard working residents have to have to park in visitor parking over the weekend. Jessica insisted a resident park in visitor parking until maintenance was available. This is a disgrace and I have to do it several times too. At least 4 times. I believe there are only 12 visitor parking spaces so good luck on family gatherings. Maintenance: Steve is awesome. I never had any issues with him. Extremely nice and dependable guy. However I would suggest RV Management have more maintenance guys like Steve available for the residents. The units: Units are brand new and clean. Granite counter tops and laminate wood flooring which are easy for upkeep. If you don't like noise above you I suggest paying a little extra for a top floor. Many residents complain about children. This complex has a lot of children so prepare accordingly. The Weekends and Summer: During the summer it was very noisy here and we also had soliciting going on. The weekends usually consist of at least 2 or 3 parties going on. Nothing too out of control. I would suggest calling security when they get out of control. Utilities: Not using AC or heat: $63 Using AC and heat consistently (like myself): $160 Garage parking: $85 Trash and water: $130 Rent: the higher the floor expect about a $60 increase. Overall: I gave this place the 1 star because of Steve and the missing 4 stars because of Jessica. Hopefully better management will turn over. The prices are steep. I suggest take your time and shop around before you get stuck here with poor management and loud marijuana smoking, neighbors. I thought I'd update my review for future tenants. The theft went down, I haven't seen or heard of anything being stolen. I don't know if they still have the security guard though. I've decided to keep the one star though because of the lack of effort the front office takes. Yeah the apartments are nice looking, but it's not worth it when the front office doesn't respond to emails or even send out emails informing tenants about important information (such as entrances being closed causing vehicles to have to go into mud to turn around: which happened to my fiancé yesterday and his truck almost got stuck considering how thick the mud was and the fact that it wasn't a 4x4 drive vehicle... which almost every vehicle in parc one isn't). They fail to inform tenants as soon as elevators are down or are being repaired, which is an inconvenience when living on the fourth floor walking up with a cart load of groceries from costco, and if you go to costco.. you know you usually leave with a ton of things! Also, my mother emailed the front office about a raise in price of utilities and never received an email back, even when I went into the front office myself. The handymen & women that work here are amazing though! No complaints there. I've NEVER had an issue with any other location I've lived at, except here. Communicating with the front office is such a hassle, and they usually fail to listen to complaints unless they are really hassled. I don't know if it's due to the amount of tenants or if they are just careless or lazy... but something needs to be done. If I see a positive change, I'll update my review once again.. but for now, this is the review they deserve. Think twice before signing a lease. Also, to the front office, I know you reply to yelp reviews, but don't bother replying to this.. use that time and effort to actually reply to the tenants that pay a lot of money to live here :) read more

I recently moved out of Parc One. Yes, location is great, but that's where it ends. Everything is true about parking. You're given one assigned parking space and will need to pay for an outside company to supposedly manage the parking permits. What they're good at is towing cars because other than that, there is no point in having to pay to park in your assigned parking space. There are limited spaces for visitors, which are generally full, except for the middle of the afternoon. There is no street parking in the surrounding area so your visitors will have to park across the street in the shopping center, but there is no overnight parking there. The apartments are small - the bedrooms are the size of a king size bed. So if you have a king side bed, good luck getting anything else in. The bathrooms have child size sinks, toilets, and bathtubs - I guess this makes the bathroom seem much larger than it actually is. However, all this is bearable. What's not bearable is the fact that the walls are paper thin. You'll be able to hear your neighbors burp, sneeze, fart, etc. To the point that you can hear your neighbors having a conversation as if you're in the room with them. Same is true for any noise from the hallway. You can clearly hear any conversation being had as people pass by and they can hear whatever you're doing in your apartment. You can also hear when your upstairs neighbor is taking a shower, when they use the toilet, when they walk around - all this is amplified at night when everything is quiet. Don't believe whoever said the walls are well insulated. It may seem that way when you do a tour during the day when everyone is at work and the apartments are empty, but once people are home, you can hear all your neighbors business, and I mean ALL their business, and they yours. Another thing to keep in mind... Initially I didn't have any problems with packages being stolen from the front door, but that started to become a problem. I think it has to do with the neighbors around you. The leasing office becomes desperate to fill up apartments and they'll rent to anyone. They will also raise your rent at the end of the lease, which is expected, but it seems unusually high for the area. An example... for a one bedroom, if I wanted to do month to month it would have ended up being $4,000 a month... seriously?! So people are constantly moving in and out. This is not an apartment to keep long term. Also, upon move out the leasing office will try to keep every dollar from your deposit. And it seems they will come up with things that you need to pay for just so the balance comes out to zero. It's as if they are not allowed to return any money. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the apartment complex is relatively new, although you can already see the wear and tear (probably due to high turnover rate of tenants) and they have central air and heat and an in suite washer and dryer. read more

Can I give zero stars. My vehicle has been towed three times now from visitors and my own space for not properly displaying my ticket. Oh my lord you have my car on file. They have 12 visitor spots for hundreds of tenants. Two of my brothers and three friends have been towed, one was parked under an hour. You can't hang things on the walls with anything other than command hooks and they come in a do walk throughs to check. Is that legal? They brought the public in because the Christian college didn't have enough to fill it as a dorm. Now they want us out for the dorms back. We have lived at Parc One for about a year and are truly enjoying it. The location is most ideal since it is walking distance to many stores. The interior of the apartment is upgraded with new carpet, wood floors, and granite counter tops. Being on the first floor, the residents above us were extremely loud. Once we had submitted a complaint, the staff clearly notified the residents since they were a lot less noisy shortly after. Todd and Bryan are extremely helpful and accommodating. They worked with us to upgrade to a 3 bedroom since we needed a little extra space. Even when it comes to smaller concerns, such as locking myself out of the garage, they were very helpful. read more

So I just moved into this place about a month or two ago and its really nice the front office staff was very nice and understanding they were even able to get us a apartment with our crappy credit so kudos for that. The rest of the complex is somthing to be said for starters the rent is high. I used to spend the same about of money in rent in Redwood Shores,CA (if you dont know where that is look it up its nice :) ) and I had two balcaneys and volted celining and 1000 square feet of living spance with two bedrooms. This place is much smaller that that, So there are some cons I will list off for starters they have paths that are purely dirt (why cant they just pave them, People dont pick up after thier dogs alot of the time, Downstairs patios are complety open anyone could just walk up to them, there are hardly any vistor parking spaces, and they tow your vechical lighting qick if it sits in a vistor sport for more then 24 hours, So some pros Its very quiet here, Hardwood floors are easy to clean and maintain, kitchen is roomy even tho it dose lack in cabnet space but oh well, the maintance guy is friendly and helpful and promted. But my biggest beef came about a month ago getting back to the vistors spots before I begin my spout I know what your all gonna think rules are rules but come on cut me some slack So it started about 2 or 3 weeks ago I drive a airport shuttle van 5 or 6 days a week working somtimes 14 to 20 hours a day to make ends meet I parked my van in a vistors spot over night and by the time the morning rolled around they had towed it it cost me 265 bucks that I really dint want to spend right before rent was due witch is already expensive to get it out of tow thanks alot parc one I spend 1800 bucks in rent witch dosent even incude utiltys and you guys tow my only source of income my boss had to come all the way out to El Cajon to help me get it out I found out the van was parked for 24 and half hours by they time they towed it I mean Im the only one in this complex that drives it and they couldnt give me a break how fucked up is that but oh well my wife and I will finsh up our lease here and move outta state when its done so I mean other that that fisaco its been ok here Thanks for listening read more

I have to echo much of what has been previously stated in the reviews for this place. While I lived here, there were issues...but none that made living here a nightmare (your mileage may vary though). Truth be told, I lived on the top floor on a corner unit and did not have to deal much with noise from neighbors. I kept the apartment clean, no shoes were allowed in the apartment and very few pictures were hung on the wall. My issues consisted of small parking concerns (they issued the same parking spot to two different tenants) and mostly maintenance issues (dog urine in the elevators and hallway). The grounds keep would sometimes be ignored for months (as stated pet urine, and even spilled food would litter the hall for weeks...or even months) despite reporting it to the leasing office. Additionally, and very troubling, their inspections of apartments would be performed without any proper notice. I say "proper" notice because they would provide a written notification of time/date, miss the date, and would perform the inspection at a random date (unannounced) in the future. On the positive, the overall location was nice and convenient. The biggest issue I had was when it came time to move out. As a result of my expedited military move, I had a very short time to provide notice and move out of the complex. I provided all requested documentation to the leasing office and spoke to multiple associates, along with the manager, Jessica. I actually offered copies of invoices for professional cleaning of the carpets and the apartment, to which they declined, stating "we can tell if it's been cleaned or not". I notified them I had patched all holes in the wall (the very few there were from small picture frames), so they were unnoticeable. I scheduled multiple inspections (pre-move survey, move out inspection) with the leasing office, to which no one ever showed up (I even took off each time from work to be present). The day before move out, I was told by the leasing office to leave the apartment unlocked and the key on the counter, to which I complied. A month after moving out, with no follow-up communication, I called up the leasing office to check status of my security deposit...to which I was told they didn't realize I had moved out (even though I had many talks with staff/management and provided supporting documentation and lead time of move out date). The office confirmed that they would begin showing the apartment and respond with security deposit. One WEEK later, I received in the mail my tiny check reimbursing a small fraction of my deposit...with unexplained attached utility invoices (though they were shut-off), hand-written calculations adding up to nothing, print outs of website pages, and list/catalog pricing from various companies (totaling hundreds of dollars). None of these attachments supported the deduction from my security deposit (or made much sense). I contacted the leasing office and got in touch with Jessica, which started a whirlwind of unprofessional and rude communication. Jessica's emails amounted to easily verifiable lies (claiming I was not present for inspections, identifying that all deductions had been clearly identified in mailed invoices). Not once could the office identify what were the actual costs that supported "above and beyond" reasonable wear and tear of the apartment. My emails would end with "please provide a breakdown of deductions from my security deposit". Question was never answered. I still have these emails saved. This went on for months until the office halted any further communication to me. And then, out of nowhere, I received a check for MOST of my security deposit, sans $120.00 for carpet cleaning and paint (as they provided me the list pricing). Mind you, I offered the carpet cleaning (which no shoes had ever walked on in the first place) invoice and there was no damage/discoloration to the paint that would require this to be taken out of a security deposit. As stated, never heard back from Jessica as to how they calculated the initial deductions (or apologies for the mistake) or my questions as to how this constituted above normal wear and tear. This was an arduous experience for money that was OWED to me (and part of which still is). My recommendation, don't move here...especially if you are in the military. read more

Where do I even begin? When we found this place it was right when they had opened. Awesome service, they were helpful and polite. After we signed our lease, nothing was the same. For starters we were promised a survey when we moved out. That never happened (which is why I am here on Yelp). One parking spot was included in our lease and we were told we could pay $80 a month for a garage. Sounds awesome right? Wrong. A garage is the last word I would use to describe the smallest spot ever created with a cover over the top. There was a garage door but there were 3 spots that shared one door. If someone else left the door open we got yelled at. I also had to pay twice for my spot that was "included" in our lease due to a change in management. Not to mention I got towed from my own spot. FROM MY OWN SPOT. That I paid for. And had to pay $300 to get it out of the tow yard. Guest parking was basically nonexistent. There were 12 spots in the entire complex for guests and we were allowed 4 guests per month. We would have to print out a guest pass for that day so if someone was staying the night and you didn't plan ahead, chances are they would get towed. Let's move on to the actual apartment. They were beautiful units on the surface. We had a huge ant problem, our washer broke, our kitchen sink flooded, and anytime you moved anything the floors would get marks. The walls had to be made of paper. Nothing was a secret in that place because you could hear if someone was whispering. Not to mention the people above us had to be professional tap dancers, we could hear them tapping to the bathroom at 1 in the morning. We could not get out of that place fast enough. Re signing was not even close to an option. They were going to raise our rent $300 if we stayed. THIS IS NOT WORTH $2500 A MONTH. Save yourself.
