Growing up I used to love going to this mall and so did my family. It was small and easy to get to and had a bunch of shops in it... it was a one stop shop kind of mall! I'm not sure what is going on with this mall now and it's so sad! There are barely any more stores and it's not because they have been replaced with nonsense shops but it's all completely vacant. Paramus Park mall is a smaller mall than the Westfield Garden State Plaza and you can't see it from Route 17 and having the worst mall entrance sign in Jersey doesn't help. By the time you see it you pasted it. Also It doesn't have the same trendy stores like the WGSP but it does have Macy's A&S and dead end Sears. But because it's not as trendy, that also means you can find a parking close to an entrance because the mall sits in the middle and the parking lot that surround it. That mmeans less crowed inside and shorter lines at the food court which has Chick-Fil-A as my number one stop. You can bring your kids to throw pennies in the fountain or ride Carousel or just go take the spherical glass elevator up and down to make sure your neighbors spot your shopping bags. And check out the bronze statue of an Indian riding a 12 foot turkey which I'm told actually existed before the Hackensack Indians killed off the last one to sell the feathers to fashion trendy Europeans of the time. read more

This mall allows Tesla drivers to hog the FREE volta chargers even when NOT shopping's. They arrive at 0933 and plug in and stay all day to charge their TESLA for free while other EV drivers have to go to Graden plaza and pay for charging... Too bad they can afford a Tesla L but have no budget for charging the Tesla. read more

Last time I was here I was a teenager and was almost 30 years ago. Still looks the same - clean, inviting, but definitely less crowded. Food court is homey and the store selection more than you need. I was amazed at how empty it was but I am on vacation and coming to a mall mid day is probably why there were few shoppers or maybe everyone is going online compared to CA where everyone mall dwells. Brought back memories of when I was a kid...So it made me smile and I was happy it still had the same look...Including that indian on top of the turkey...Which I believe was down stairs but now at the same level as the food court. read more

Your less quiet alternate to the garden state plaza. The mall is going through several renovations with Sears closing down and that section of the mall being a near ghost town. Somehow the sports store and gamestop are still surviving that part of the mall with very low foot traffic. The main stores are now FYE, Macys and the book store. Love the food court with everything from Sbarro to Sarku, pretzels and frozen yogurt. Stew Leonards, which is a better supermarket than Fairway and Wegmans is coming to the mall within a few years. The mall desperately needs it to open asap as the big anchor since there are several vacant stores. When it opens, it will revitalize the mall and seriously rival GSP. read more

I do like this mall. It's pretty straight forward. Macy's, Sears and very minimal stores. It's real quiet and family friendly. My son loves this mall. He gets to walk around without bumping into everyone. Lots of kids stores closer to Sears and they have a kid sections that's clean. We have a lot of fun. They have a kid ride that you can go around in circles in the Sears section for 7 or 15 minutes. read more

Yah it doesn't have Nordstrom or Tory Burch kinda stores, but it has Macy's, Victoria Secret, Gap, Bath and body, Kids rides (bring dollars and coins), and these animal rides for $7 for i Think 10min...there is more...not humongous like GS Plaza. Oh and they have a food court....Sbarro, Subway, Chick Fil-A, Nathan's, Burger King, Auntie Annie's pretzels, Mediterranean, Dunkin Donuts, Bourbon Chicken, Sarkaru and the chicken teriyaki joint. They also have Pancheros within the mall along with Steak and shack and Panera's. Dessert...TCBY and Jamba juice. The kids love it here and I do too. The food is your typical food court. If you want somewhat healthy....yah they have salads.....Bourbon chicken does offer brown rice and veggies. I can't believe I remembered most of the foodie places in the mall lol. read more

A cool mall, one problem is it's closed on Sundays because Bergen County has blue laws and I just wish Bergen County can overturn the blue laws and one thing I'm disappointed about that the FYE closed in this mall and I was devistated that it closed because I liked FYE even when in this time they have no nearby FYE stores and a year before I went to this mall, they announced that FYE was closing due to a leasing issue and they said 'not the whole company was going out' and I said that when I went in July 2018 to the one in Clifton at Styertowne Shopping Center and they closed because of the same issue and I liked that FYE also and it was a bummer that this FYE because this is a cool mall! read more

This is a nice small mall, that's moderately clean. It has a fair amount of stores, that I liked including Hollister, Aeropostale, and A and F. But, the interior is really dark, and it feels almost you're in a ghost world, which made it quite an uncomfortable experience. They do have a nice play area for the kids,, and has a pond, to throw money into which is nice. They do have a wide food court, but only one floor of stores, and despite this mall was easy to navigate, it wasn't as much fun as shopping at the Westfield Mall. I always relied on Macy's as a good store. But I bought a mattress that sunk lower, and hurt my back. I got three different responses from them: sorry, here's part of the money back. Why not all of what I paid for it? A great disappointment, poor customer service. I went back 5 times to the store, and got different answers. Too much frustration, a let down. I come here at-least one a month for play dates! Mostly because they have a chick fil a but also because my daughter loves the play spaces upstairs! The mall is small and rarely crowded which I love! No lines and no madness which I feel much more comfortable going with my daughter! I went to GSP one time this year and witness a fight! Paramus Park may not have the frills that other malls have, and it may have gone through renovations to remove such frills. But for me, this is my favorite go-to mall in the area. The location is convenient with multiple points of access, either by highway for back roads. There are numerous entrances to the mall, making getting to the store you need that much easier. There is plenty of parking, with some of it even being covered by solar panels (great for a rainy shopping day). I've never had to deal with the large crowds that I would encounter at GSP (even on Black Friday). This mall is always clean and gets it's main source of light from it's glass ceilings (no claustrophobia feelings here). They have most of the stores that I shop at. There are food options on the second floor in the middle of the mall as well as near some of the main entrances to the mall and a few kiosks, should you work up an appetite. And should a store go out of business, the turnover to fill the space with something new is fairly quick. Paramus Park definitely satisfies my shopaholic addiction! read more

This mall definitely gets crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Probably never going to be as crowded as the plaza though. I feel like the parking may also be slightly easier than parking at the plaza as well . The one huge caveat is that most of the ceiling is glass. I went on a hot day . The outside temperature was close to 90 degrees. Because most of the ceiling of this mall is glass , the sun shines so brightly into the mall . The areas where the sun is shining directly is extremely hot . There's almost no relief. Even if you want to sit down , you're going to be sitting in direct sun. The upstairs food court is also like this . Luckily I was able to find a table that was out of the way of the glass ceiling. I even overheard some other shoppers complaining about how hot it was in this mall . You would think they would insulate the ceiling windows better to avoid this problem. read more

I don't really like this mall. There are several reasons why: 1. No Starbucks. You're at the mall, stop pretending, get a frappucino and go to town. Also, fake lighting makes me sleepy and I need the caffeine. 2. Only department stores are Macy's & Sears. The Macy's selection was worse than the usual; the one at Garden State Plaza is better. I'm not going to hate too much on Sears since I was forced to go in there, I did find some really cheap basic black flats, but Sears? is no Nordstrom BG section. Let's be real. 3. Store selection is crappy. Why come here when you could go to GSP? Nothing too interesting here. read more

I like this mall. Sure, it may be smaller than Garden State, BUT, do you have to park a mile away or spend 20 mins finding a closer spot? No. Will you get bumped into by people that can't seem to navigate around other human beings in a timely fashion? No. Will you spend half your time at the mall waiting on line for an open register? Paramus Park will always have a special place in my heart despite the many changes it's been through over the years. I come from a generation that would cram all the kids, dates, and parents in the car, drive over, split up and meet back at a certain spot at a pre-determined time. This was the usual Friday or Saturday night in Bergen County. (Boy, have things changed!!) Not only that, the Indian on the turkey was right where you walked in, now because of political "corectiveness" he's shoved up on the second floor in the back never to see the light of day again. Over the years the stores have indeed changed, Native Art is no longer there, the restaurant in the far back corner of the second floor with all the wacky stuff is gone, but it's still a gem compared to Garden State and Palisades. read more

Paramus NJ is home to 3 major malls being Bergen Mall, Paramus Park and Garden State Plaza yet Paramus Park is my go to mall. Parmaus Park is home to many big name stores such as Victoria's Secret, Abercrombie & Fitch, Macy's, Sears, and Coach just to name a few. I love coming to this mall because it is the tamest of all 3 and very convenient for me being it is just a few minutes away from my house. You don't have to fight anyone over a parking spot here being there is ample parking for everyone and the entrances are conveniently placed allowing you almost direct access to whatever store you are trying to get in and out of. Though they don't have a million stores such as the Garden State Plaza they have the essentials and that is good enough for me. read more

Been to this mall a few times. It's basically your standard suburban mall except for the main distinction of having the only official Chick-Fil-A within a reasonable distance of NYC. That is why I have come here. They also have a dreaded Steak n' Shake "Signature" location that I discovered (and was disappointed it wasn't a full service location) though it had more seating & was less jam packed than the one in Manhattan. When the new Chick-Fil-A is in NYC & if that Chick-Fil-A is quality, I'm not sure if I'd come back to this mall. read more

Growing up in Paramus, this is the mall that your parents would let you go to with your friends & without parental supervision first. It was the training mall before you began high school and would start going to the larger, more crowded Garden State Plaza. In comparison to GSP, Paramus Park is much smaller. Its shaped like a large L. In the middle, there used to be a giant waterfall where kids used to throw pennies and make a wish. Now thats gone and there are escalators leading to the food court upstairs. One wing leads you to Sear's, and the other wing leads you to Macy's. Stores include: Ann Taylor Loft, Old Navy, H&M, Gap, Abercrombie, Victoria's Secret, Disney Store, etc. One plus over GSP is that this place is less of a madhouse on the weekend. During the Xmas shopping season, I know Paramus people who refuse to go to GSP due to the parking lot chaos and go to Paramus Park instead to do their Xmas shopping. Saves you time and helps avoid some stress. Basically, if you want to be able to shop in every store known to man, go to GSP. If you know you want to pick up something from a particular store, head to Paramus Park and save yourself some time & avoid the madness that can be GSP's parking lot on a Saturday. read more

I went yesterday after work and have to say, I really like this mall! The ceiling is all glass so it is bright and open. It feels like an outdoor mall without the cold! It is clean and parking is a breeze! They don't have as many stores as garden state plaza but it is a much calmer shopping experience. Stores I like are there: NY&Co, LL Bean, Francesca's, limited and Charming Charlie's! They have great stores for gifts-lots of cute jewelry, knock knacks and clothing. I think this may be my new lunch break hangout-sorry bank account! ;) This small, friendly mall is the kid of place my mom would let me shop at with my friends in middle school. I spent my teenage years working in this mall. At that time it was great, friendliest people, friendliest stores and mall management. Helpful security and great all American non ghetto type clientele. I haven't been there in about a year but I've heard they built it up and it's even more classy and nice now. This has to be one of the most gorgeous malls i've ever been to. It is much smaller than the Garden State Plaza so there are less variety. Since I live in New York, I prefer Roosevelt Field mall over this since this place is far to commute. However, I love this place, the architectural designs are just stunning; the shops are both interesting and wondrous. My favorite part was the cookware store; they offer free pretzel sticks with a select of amazing dips. haha, we cleaned out the place of both the dips and the free pretezels! I love the stone water fountain in front of Abercrombie and the many different sculptures. I recommend this place if you want to see a cool mall that has Abercrombie, Hollister and H&M. First off, I hate driving to Paramus, but if I have to go there, I much prefer Paramus Park over Garden State Plaza. Paramus Park is a much smaller, calmer mall. But it still has a great selection of stores. It only has two department stores in Macy's and Sears, but the other stores more than make up for that. I specifically came to Paramus Park on my most recent trip because they have a L.L. Bean. I then proceed to shop at Macy's, The Limited, Bath & Body Works. I also browsed a couple other stores while I was at it (Victoria's Secret and Teavana). The mall is clean and a stress-free shopping experience. It was simple finding a parking spot. They also have a decent selection of restaurants. Restaurants include Panchero's Mexican Grill (brings me back to my days in Ann Arbor, MI), Panera Bread, Starbucks, Steak & Shake, etc. So there really is something for everyone. If Paramus Park has the store(s) you're looking to shop in, you can't go wrong picking this mall. read more

As a kid, my mom would bring me to this mall more than the GSP or any other since it wasn't as busy. Always ate at Chik-Fil-A ...so much that it's become a tradition whenever I go there. I remember the water-fall-stone wall very clearly. It was awesome before they renovated. Does anyone remember the WARNER BROTHERS STORE!?!? It was so incredible. Northern NJ really is the shopping mall capital of the world. Where else would you have a full fledged mall literally within walking distance of another huge mall? Paramus Park mall has a lot of the popular stores you'd need: Macys, Express, Starbucks, Coach. It's also about 2 minutes down the road from its behemoth of a neighbor, Garden State Plaza. However, unlike Garden State Plaza, you won't have to gouge your eyes out as you are stuck in traffic trying to pull in to the mall, nor will you have to engage in choice words with a suburban soccer mom who is trying to steal your parking spot, nor will you have to cautiously navigate through throngs of people once inside the mall. No, Paramus Park is downright tame, and borderline boring. The longest line you'll wait on is the Starbucks, which usually has about 2 people on line. The rest seems like everyone just forgot to show up, since most stores will rarely be much more than you vs. the equally bored sales associate. Why only 3 stars? Well, first of, the selection is pretty limited. It's pretty paltry compared to Short Hills or Garden State Plaza. Second, it just feels weird. Kind of like Children of the Corn weird. Where is everyone?? If you need to make a quick, in and out shopping stop, this is the place for you. read more

I love this mall.... I wanted to specifically talk about Macy's tho! They are amazing here! Every staff member who works here is so kind and knowledgeable. To the woman who takes back the returns - she literally ask about your day and your family. The women and men at the makeup section- I love them all! They are so sweet and makes everyone feel beautiful. They are knowledgeable and truly will not sell you a product to make money. For example, the kind soul who works for Lancôme... she knows my mom and I because she got to know her customers... that's truly amazing and rare!!!! I love Jackie and the other staff members in jewelry and purses.... they know I love the bling lol and I truly try to stay away from them but I can't! Hahah they are too sweet to avoid :) Also, I don't even need to go to Victoria secret and spend more money because you have a knowledgeable staff in intimates who knows what they are doing and won't make you feel uncomfortable , no matter what size you are! Then you go up stairs and the women up there actually know who you are, greet you, help you, provide you with coupons, and know your style! I honestly feel special when I go here! Paramus park is a good mall to take children. I always bring my nephew there since it is never too packed and has a good play area for kids. I often go to Paramus park for the sole reason that it is of very close proximity to my house. If I lived further away I would prefer to go to Garden State Plaza instead. Paramus park has stores including the Loft, New York & Company, Victoria's Secret, Claire's, Sears, Macy's, and Francesca's boutique. This mall rarely gets packed. Paramus Park has seemed to make somewhat of a comeback. Last time that I was here it did not compare to the other malls like Garden State Plaza, or Bergen Town Center. I grew up in the area and back in the days the other two malls were less popular than this one and in recent years it changed where PP went downhill, but it looks a lot better and now with Stew Leonard's in the old Sears spot it really boosted the mall back up. It cant compare to Garden State plaza, but nowadays many people like the smaller intimate shopping experience. read more
