Lincoln Square Business District and Neighborhood in Manhattan…read more I was just visiting this business district recently to go to Bed Bath and Beyond. Best Buy and Century 21 are two other large businesses I frequent in the neighborhood. I love this neighborhood. I lived here for two years. The rent is higher than the typical high rent in Manhattan so I rented a room. I worked part time at the Gristedes as a cashier/stock girl in the pharmacy. That store has been gone years ago. I spent a lot of time at the movies back then after I retired. There's a huge AMC theater complex and there was a small theater in Lincoln Square that closed. On some days you can enjoy the Greenmarket and naturally you can eat at a number of fast food chains. Lincoln Square is best known for Lincoln Center where cultural activities abound. If you're visiting NYC I highly recommend you spend a day shopping and eating in Lincoln Square Business District. It's like an outdoor Mall. I always take my visitors when they come to the city.

There are a couple of stores to window shop and eateries to drop by (aka Haagen Dazs). On our (my) to-do is to try out the Old Pancake House (I've been to the other two locations and am a fan - my OPH fandom will be complete once I try the one in City Place.) I walk here, but there's a parking deck if you're driving. In short, nice shopping area in a good location.

I could hear them rolling by while I rested. The area is clean and there's nice wooden benches. The trees are in beautiful bloom still. I'm done resting and I'm going to tie on the feedbag. There's a Bagel Shop across the street!! Visit the Broadway Malls when you are walking along Broadway and you need to rest. Frequently the Malls have artwork on exhibit. Currently it's sculptures by Jon Isherwood. I've photographed other artists sculptures on the Broadway Malls in the past. The last one I photographed was Joy Brown. It's great exercise walking up Broadway from Mall to Mall. There's lots of restaurants and businesses to visit along the way too!

I was on my way home but ended up staying here for hours . Brilliant way to sell some goodies & attract people from their busy crazy life . I tried a slice of cheese pizza from a new pizza place . Then got some sushi for dinner & saw the boba place & had to get a brown boba milk tea . Was gonna go home but ended up spending a lot but had a blast by myself just walking around . As you walk by each vendor they are so welcoming, friendly and no pressuring to buy buy buy (in my experience). The vibrant colors of the different bags, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, clothing, fabrics. Many handcrafted pieces and some vendors had oils, incense and the different butters to name a few, shea and mango. The items are priced accordingly and most venders did tap to pay, Zelle and or cash. Good to know as someone may not always have cash on them.

There are not many shops here, but it satisfied my need for food. They have a pretty good size food court but few restaurants. My favorite restaurant was the Mediterranean Grill. I don't know what kind of seasonings were used on the chicken tenders, but I could devour it. These were the best chicken tenders I ever had and the plate is humongous. There is a Subway, a pizza spot and another restaurant but I don't remember the name. Also, a small CVS, shoe repair, another sandwich/breakfast restaurant and a convenience type store were located on the premises. The two big well known restaurants at Shops at Lincoln Harbor are Houlhan's and Ruth Chris Steakhouse. It is a nice and convenient shopping area across the street from the Sheraton hotel.
