Brand new spot in Paramount. Very clean, attentive staff and good food. My husband & I happened in tonight for dinner - he had Butterfly Shrimp and fries, I had the Calamari and corn on the cob. Booth portions were generous and delicious. On the house they brought out a deep fried Oreo and ice cream....what could be wrong with that? It taste like a donut with Oreo filling. This was my first and for sure will be my last time there. The waiter was not the issue. The other workers bringing out the food were the issue. The manager Brianna was horrible! Even after we experienced bad service, when we asked to speak to the manager she came over with an attitude and said there was nothing she can do! Never again will i do here. The waiter said that with the purchase of food, every person gets a dessert, and when they brought them, they only brought out 8 even though we were 11, and when we asked them, they claimed we were lying and they said they brought out 10. Why would they bring 10 when we were 11? Also we had ordered some drinks when they gave us the last call warning and they just never brought them to us. Honestly the manager Brianna and one of her female waitresses/bartender gave us the worst service/experience there. I just knew this place had what it took to become awesome. I gave them 3 chances to get it right. First visit they didn't give me the correct flavor I requested was a bit of a turn off but I gave them a second chance this time I didn't receive my add ons 2 potato's and a corn. They agreed to correct it but hey after getting home and gettin comfortable who wants to go back. The food is so delicious I just couldn't give up on them, however Andrew made sure everything was perfect I had the right flavor, my add ons was there and I'm s very happy customer. Shrimp is pricier here but the quality is definitely worth it. I've tried places where the shrimp is over cooked and becomes mushy. I've had this place about 3-4 times and it always came out perfect. This place has really gone down since it first opened. It used to be one of our favorite places to eat. sad to say service is horrible now. Every time we come it's always something! There's always different employees, I guess they can't keep them either, which shows what type of business is being ran here. First of all we got here at 6pm finally Was seated almost 45 mins later. once seated we waited again 30 mins just to be told our ticket wasn't put in! REALLY!! This place is understaffed and the food was nasty! My corn was cold, the waiter(Michael ) took it and put in for another one and never brought it back. He never came back to check on us not once. We had to keep calling him. Once brought back for the second time it was then cold as ICE!! Wow!! The cook needs to be FIRED ASAP! The shrimp was nasty as well! Garlic bread was also cold and had to be sent back as well. Another staff member Rosalind had to bring it out who wasn't taking care of us. She was very polite and attentive and checked on us numerous times, unlike the waiter Michael. The manager "Oscar" only offered to give us a $1.25 discount! Smh They could have kept the 1.25!! Which I highly recommend to come for as it's the only time you can grab a seat and wait an appropriate amount of time for your order. However on weekends yes, there should be increased volume of people but the wait times for orders are absolutely very long. I'm talking about 45mins for a party of 2 not to mention the 20minutes waiting just for our server to our order. They are severely understaffed and would benefit having ordering food kiosks at the dining tables. I recommend the wings and lemon pepper shrimp.
