I had a great experience recently with Ballston Limo so let me tell you about it…read more.. I wanted to switch things up for my bday and at my old age, sometimes you can get a little stuck trying to figure out how to keep things fresh. I was entertaining an outing with friends that required a bit of a drive and thought it might be fun to rent an classic limo - like one we had back in the day for prom. Very often when I go with friends to wineries or day trips, everyone gets the sprinter vans now and it's just a slightly different experience. So I did request a quote for businesses nearby that might be able to accomodate my group, only a week in advance. While I number of businesses reached back out to me with quotes, I quickly learned that fewer companies have these classic stretch limos in their fleet. Ballston not only got back to me quickly, but was also available to hop on a call first thing that morning. Because there was some transparency on rates after seeing a number of quotes, I felt confident that their quote was fair and felt good moving forward with locking it in after reviewing logistics. The day of my birthday, the driver arrived on time and was great throughout the 6 hours he was booked. (Three of those hours we were inside eating brunch but he also worked with us to extend our time when we asked if we could drop by one more place before heading back from Baltimore!) Overall it was such a fun and memorable birthday. Thanks so much to Ballston Limo for helping to make it so special!

Ive been riding Reston buses with my university for now four years…read more I can say with confidence that I DO NOT RECOMMEND any Reston buses for any group. The people are fine the drivers are friendly that's the only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars instead of one. There's always something wrong with the buses. Either it's broken WiFi, broken bathrooms, dirty floors, breaking down, or catching on fire. As I write this my group is dealing with a blown tire on one of the buses trying to come back from a trip. At minimum 1/3rd of all trips have had some failure that has resulted in severe delays and a bus being taken down. I wish they were isolated but over four years it's a trend. Edit on the course of this trip another bus died on the side of the road. Updating review to one star.

All party members were able to sit comfortably and enjoy the music as we went to our venue. Our driver was friendly and extremely helpful. The drivers themselves communicated with me when they were on the way, during their transportation (we booked 2 limos), and upon returning the kids. Also quickly and professionally provided a small refund equal to, if not greater than, the amount of time lost by the group. Once everyone in my family was fully vaccinated, we began to plan the long awaited reunion. Since I wasn't entirely sure of her schedule, I wasn't able to book until the day before we needed the driver so I was very happy that Culdesac was able to accommodate. From my initial phone inquiry until our drop off, every interaction with the business was professional. During my first phone call, I was able to book a driver for 5 hours to take us to a winery in Virginia. The winery is located over an hour away, so it was nice to be able to relax and not worry about driving. Everything was pretty seamless. Our driver (Rachid) was so professional and even arrived a few minutes early. He was a safe driver, kind and accommodating despite the non-stop storytelling and giggling between me, my sister and a childhood friend throughout the entire ride. A group of us was visiting Washington, DC for a hockey road trip…read more Two months prior to my trip, I emailed Culdesac, along with 2 other competitors for a price quote. Culdesac not only contacted me the same day, but they were the only ones who provided me with any form of communication, and I've yet to hear back from the other 2 companies. That alone catapulted Culdesac to 5 star status in my book! I had 11 people in my group and was suggested a 14 passenger Mercedes Sprint Van, picking up from IAD to downtown Washington for $275, which included tax and gratuity. I believe I spoke to Sammy, who was very helpful and friendly. Fast forward to February... The day before our trip, Sammy called me to reconfirm, and sent me our driver's name and number. A hiccup happened to our trip, and I sent Derek a text to come to the airport earlier than we agreed upon. Culdesac called to verify we needed an earlier pickup, Derek kept me in the loop of his transit time, and he came to the spot we told him we were at. Super professional! We decided to use Culdesac to take us back to the airport. Again the day before, I got a call and email reconfirming my pickup at 1:30 pm. We were told that Derek was going to take us back, but unfortunately a hiccup occured where his appointment was going to run over, so Derek texted me that someone else will pick us up, and not to worry. A few minutes after the text, Culdesac called me to say Derek was being replaced by Sam, and they texted me his number. Sam arrived at 1:15 in a 20 passenger van, just as nice as the Mercedes Sprinter, and even newer! It was also handicapped accessible, which was a good thing to remember if someone was disabled. He was just as courteous and got us to the airport safely and quickly. I honestly believe this company deserves 5 stars. They were professional, easy to get a hold of via email and phone, and communicated with me from start to finish. They charged my card after the service was completed, and the tip and tax was included in the fee. I would gladly use them again if I am back in the DC area.

I was told the limo ride comes with ice and bottled water and that the driver would arrive 10 minutes prior to our designated pickup time. The driver was fantastic, arrived early, was very nice and got us to our destination on time. He did the same for the ride home. The hummer h2 itself was not equipped with any glasses, ice or water. The carpet was dirty. They advertised that it seats close to 18 but our group of 12 were squashed. It would have been nice to be given instructions on how to use the tv or music but nothing was written inside. Looking at my receipt I was charged for an 18 passenger but got a 14 passenger. When I got out I asked about the water and the driver said it was inside in the cooler. When we finished up, we went back into the limo and there was nothing. Be sure to check what your getting. Update: I have 12 witnesses who will agree that there was no water in that limo. I'm not sure why this company would flat out lie.

I call them and get told cabs are about 15 minutes away. "Is one of them coming?" I got a great non-answer. "Is anyone coming?" "We can't tell you an eta." "Am I going to be stranded?" "We will be sending someone. Cabs are 15 minutes away." Then a few minutes later, they call and leave a message. "It's going to be an hour." An hour comes and goes. I call again. "We're still overbooked. It's going to be at least another hour." They couldn't tell me that in the first place? I had to call them. Never again. So, if you don't mind rolling the dice, then use them. If you like to know your ride will come at the time you booked, you may want to look elsewhere.
