I used Loudoun cabs when I had an unexpected incident and needed a ride to work recently. When I called I was given an estimate of what sort of fee I would be charged, as well as a time to expect the driver to arrive. Surprisingly, both were very accurate and I really appreciated that! My driver was named Steve. He was very friendly and professional. His van was clean and overall I really appreciated the fact that he felt like a real person! I was so pleased to have had this experience, instead of ending up in a stinky overused taxi cab with a driver who just wanted to run up my tab. The first time we used them, they were great--on time and very courteous. The second time, not so much. We booked in advance for a 4:30 pickup. 4:40: no one and no call. I call them and get told cabs are about 15 minutes away. "Is one of them coming?" I got a great non-answer. "Is anyone coming?" "We can't tell you an eta." "Am I going to be stranded?" "We will be sending someone. Cabs are 15 minutes away." Then a few minutes later, they call and leave a message. "It's going to be an hour." An hour comes and goes. I call again. "We're still overbooked. It's going to be at least another hour." They couldn't tell me that in the first place? I had to call them. Never again. So, if you don't mind rolling the dice, then use them. If you like to know your ride will come at the time you booked, you may want to look elsewhere. read more

So had to go from DCA (Regan) from Broadlands for a two week vacation as parking the van is way too much there. Tried a few places to get some costs and then tried Loudoun Taxis. About $95 all-in (including tolls) one way. Best price among everyone I tired. So that where it started but they did a fantastic job across the board. Particularly: 1. Mike was very helpful and responsive. Generally emails back within a few mins to any enquiries I had. 2. Early for both ride to CDA and ride back two weeks later. 3. Drivers were nice. Cars were plenty big enough for us -- 4 people, 4 bags. And when we left out carryon in the car, they brought it to our door the next day for free (almost as soon as we told them). Had iPad and various other items in.. Fantastic. Will be using again whenever I need a taxi! read more

The drivers arrived for pickup early, and upon calling for services. They even shared GPS coordinates so I could easily track their locations and arrival times. Highly recommended. I was in Ashburn relocating a family member. It was my first time in Virginia and due to snow predictions two days earlier than my departure date, I decided to save my family member the hassle of driving me to the airport in potential ice and snow and decided to take a cab to the airport. I checked various reviews of cab companies and decided to try Loudoun cabs. It was an excellent choice. I called two days earlier and informed the dispatcher that I wanted to reserve a cab from Ashburn to Dulles airport. He asked if I needed a cab now. I was impressed that they could have one so quickly. I told him the date and time. It was very smooth. The day of the trip, I called and confirmed without issue. About 10-15 minutes before the scheduled time, the driver (Mike) called informing me he was in front of the building. Great timing. He took my bags and gently placed them in his trunk and did not rush me. He promptly showed me the meter and ensured I was ok with everything. His car was very clean, roomy, smelled very nice. During the drive he was so informative. He explained various aspects of Ashburn to me (since this was my first trip). We had a great conversation (I learned quite a bit of the city). The trip was quick (he took a direct route via the highway). When we got to the airport, he stopped in front of the United airlines gate and showed me where to go. I did not feel rushed at all. He took my bags out and thanked me. He was very pleasant. I have informed my family member who is there to use Loudoun cab service if there is bad weather and she doesn't want to deal with driving in the snow and/or ice. read more

Recently called on Loudoun Cabs for a trip from Harpers Ferry WV to Dulles airport, and a return ten days later. Everything worked perfectly and we will definitely call Loudoun Cabs again. Made the initial reservation by email about a week ahead. They were able to quote a fixed price for both trips. Pickup was on time (early, in fact) and ride to airport was smooth and uneventful. On the return, we had to change our pickup date and time, again by email (response was nearly instant). Pickup worked perfectly. When we landed at Dulles, there was a text from our driver waiting on my phone. Driver helped with luggage. Great service; no surprises. read more

Wish I could give less stars We had used Loudoun Cabs a few times and were pleased. BUT we recently used them for an early morning ride to Dulles and were VERY disappointed Firstly, there was no cab at the appointed time, we had to call and wake them. Secondly, when we got to the airport he asked what gate, we replied AMERICAN, he pulled into the departure area and proceeded to unload our luggage, it was then I noticed we were at VIRGIN AMERICA I pointed this out and the reply was "Oh, it's only four doors down!" We needed transport for 5 after a fundraiser concert in Brunswick MD back to Leesburg VA (about 1/2 hour). I called ahead, and was quoted an approximate price which was within a couple bucks of what the actual cost was (roughly $65). The cab arrived 10 minutes early, and they texted me upon arrival. The vehicle was a mini van. Although it was dark, as far as I could tell it was clean. I was very pleased and will likely use this service again whenever I need a cab. read more

After working with so many overpriced vendors with hidden fees and unresponsive communication, Loudoun Cabs made arrangements quickly and precisely. I live in Ashburn, VA. I made a reservation last night to be picked up at 7am and the cab driver was at my home at 7:15am. Someone called me at 7am to let me know that the driver was 5 to 7 minutes late and apologized. Obviously, the driver was 15 minutes late and apologized as well. I know things happen but time was of the essence and during rush hour I needed the cab at 7am not 7:15am. I want reliability with a cab company. read more
