We took a cab (Rav 4) on Nov 20, 2024 in Washington DC for a 1.5 Mile trip. Have taken uber from RR Airport before for about $30 which is about 7 Miles. When we arrived at our location this time, (1.5 mile trip) it took the driver about 5 Minutes to come up with a $59.00 plus Tip Cost.... No way to figure the cost and the driver was no help. BEWARE, this company aligns as if they are a cab company, but they operate, as I was told, like UBER and Lyft, Unfortunately, you don't know in advance the price they will charge like Uber and Lyft. They don't use a meter. Uber/Lyft from Alexandria to Reagan Natl usually cost $24, and when I use cabs to/from airport it cost me consistently around $29. In fact, I just took a cab two days prior to this one from a Reagan and it cost me $29. This morning my fee with Green Go cab was $49, almost $53 w tip. Pro: the gentleman arrived on time, I received an early morning call, he was professional, helpful and I arrived at the airport very timely. I did hear from Green Cab and they did offer me $10 off my next ride to the airport. I appreciated their call, however, I probably will not be using their services in the future. read more

A cab did show up on time and the car was clean which are good things except for the driver had cough several times but he did not cover his mouth. GoGreen Cab is the most expensive cab in Alexandria, its fare is about over 150% more expensive than any cabs, Uber and Lyft. The trip was about 7 miles from Alexandria to Ronald Reagan National airport and that GoGreen Cab charged me for amount of $49.00, I had been charged many times for the same trip with less than $32.00. When I asked the driver to show the fare on the taxi meter, but his response was that he does not have it and he uses flat fee so that fare was whatever amount he decided and I had to pay. However, the cab fare was not offered upfront fare as Uber or Lyft and my fault was not asking before the trip, the GoGreen blamed me for that. Taxi without taxi meter!!! That cab is just a regular passenger car without Taxi logo marker. The receipt shows that is "Independent cab" with a residential address. It appears that GoGreen Cab is not a license taxi company in Alexandria. Note that this is my opinion based on what I had seen. Before deciding to use GoGreen Cab service, I had checked the reviews and there are many good reviews, but it seems that all of the good reviews are fault. I'm not sure how the GoGreen Cab can get many good reviews based on my last trip with it. I wouldn't not use this service again, no more GoGreen Cab. read more

Amazing service! I had the most stress free ride to and from the airport. I was looking online for a taxi service to take me to and from Dulles. Go Green Cab had very good reviews so I decided to try; so happy I made that choice! I made the reservation about 12 hours prior to my trip. They were prompt with responding and providing a confirmation. The driver was prompt and brought my bags to the car. I didn't have to lift a finger; he opened the door for me too! The car I was picked up in was a Prius. I had more than enough space for myself and carryon bag in the back. Two people can sit comfortably in the back without a crowd issue. An important thing this company doesn't tell you is they contract out with traditional taxi companies. I had read the reviews and thought this place was different - clean, electric cars. immaculately kept, good for the environment. Sure, more expensive but a better experience. This morning a yellow cab was sent to our house. Yes, the driver was courteous and perfectly nice, BUT it was the same used, old, tired yellow cab and what is normally $60 was $90. Tried calling a third time after about 15 mins and no answer again or confirmation to my request. I immediately get a text from them stating Please wait! Great local alternative to Uber/Lyft! Very communicative and reliable! Just filled out the online form, got a confirmation, and responded to confirm on my end. Didn't have to stress about missing a train/bus to catch my flight out of Dulles (and it's a min of 1.5h to get there on public transit from my place in DC). They specialize in airport drop off/pick up. You need to fill out the form a few days in advance because they are a small local company and will not confirm until they know they have a driver available. FYI for airport pickups--I chose to take public transit on the way back since I wasn't stressed about making a flight, but the driver said that they could deal with a delayed flight for airport pickup if you give them your flight number. I personally did not do this but it seems like a great option. Will definitely use them again! read more

Emailing and getting a confirmation for the pick-up time with Evelyn, the 'command center' employee, was positive - she was pretty responsive to all my questions and such to making a reservation. The cab driver called when he arrived, and he was actually about 15 minutes early (which I really liked); he was very professional and took a direct route to the airport - all safe and sound! It was about $20 one way, so I thought it was pretty good. The cab itself was clean and I appreciated that. When returning from a trip, making another reservation for a pick-up at the airport is also super convenient - they'll just pick you up from the private car line rather than the taxi/limo line - same process with the confirmation, where the contact details of your assigned cab drive and # will be sent to you, and you have a safe ride back home. I had previously missed a flight when a taxi was late picking me up. I was more than pleased with GoGreen. After making my reservation online, I received a quick response confirming my reservation. On the morning of my travel I received an early morning text informing me that my car was on its way and what car to expect. My driver was extremely polite and quickly got us to our flight. Used them for the first time for a ride to DCA with a pick up at 4AM and they were on time. The driver helped with the bags and was very cheerful for someone who had to pick us up at 4AM.
