"We're still overbooked. It's going to be at least another hour." They couldn't tell me that in the first place? I had to call them. Never again. So, if you don't mind rolling the dice, then use them. If you like to know your ride will come at the time you booked, you may want to look elsewhere.

She'd been using Yellow Cab as they offer a wheelchair van service for a lot less than a "normal" medical transport company would. This past Friday (3/1/19) she made an appointment to be picked up at 1:15, they arrived at 2:30. Then, for the return trip she requested to be picked up at 7PM. I received a phone call from her at 8:30PM, in tears, that the cab company hadn't gotten her and didn't know when/if they could. She had called them every 15 minutes to find out where the cab was and was told every time that it would be there in 5 minutes. When I called the company, I was informed that a wheelchair van was 6 miles away, but had just picked up a passenger and wouldn't be available for sometime. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that none were on duty and that one would call me on Saturday. I, along with my teenage son, was able to load my mother in our car and take her home. The promised return call never happened. On Sunday, my mother again scheduled a ride with Yellow Cab for 1:15 to take her to dialysis. They never showed up. She was able to get a friend to help get her to her doctor appointment. She called the cab company to arrange for a return trip and was informed that no cabs were available to pick her up. This company is unreliable and dishonest. I would strongly urge everyone to stay away from this company.

My driver greeted me professionally and we arrived to the airport without any traffic (Reverse Murphy's Law when you depart for a trip on time). The driver offered me the option to accept the "flat rate" or the "meter" and I opted for the flat rate. I paid $68 for my fare and the driver provided me a $10 certificate on my next trip. I had a few recommendations for improvement which I was able to discuss with management. I am confident my recommendations will be fully-implemented. If I ever need a ride to the Dulles Airport I will definitely utilize this establishment.

Calling the night before I needed a ride, I was told that reservations weren't needed. They told me to call 20 minutes before I needed them. So, to be safe, I called 1/2 hour before I needed my ride from Leesburg to Round Hill, VA. The driver arrived about 10 minutes later than I had expected. The cab was a hybrid and didn't have any markings that it was United Cab or a cab at all. I had my destination written down and I showed it to the driver and read it to him at the same time. We discussed the construction on Rt. 7 and the possibility of getting caught in traffic. He decided to take me another way to avoid the traffic. Anyway, he drove me in completely the opposite direction. He kept saying that his GPS voice was wrong. Finally, he made a lame excuse that he thought I said Lovettsville or Lucketts or something like that. I had given him the complete address in Round Hill, including the zip code. I'm not sure why he thought it was okay to take me on a 45 minute joy ride when I had some place to be at a specific time. At arrival to my destination, he told me the charge was $50. I asked if he was charging me for going the wrong way and he said he wasn't. I told him that when I got an estimate the night before, the guy at United Cab had told me $35 to $40. I didn't see any meters or anything like I would expect in a taxi. He changed my fee from $50 to $40. I ended up feeling bad and gave him $45, including a $5 tip that he didn't exactly deserve.
