The more I think about it, the more taken advantage of I feel. I called United Cab, because I think it is a local Leesburg business and my Mom has used them before in the area. Calling the night before I needed a ride, I was told that reservations weren't needed. They told me to call 20 minutes before I needed them. So, to be safe, I called 1/2 hour before I needed my ride from Leesburg to Round Hill, VA. The driver arrived about 10 minutes later than I had expected. The cab was a hybrid and didn't have any markings that it was United Cab or a cab at all. I had my destination written down and I showed it to the driver and read it to him at the same time. We discussed the construction on Rt. 7 and the possibility of getting caught in traffic. He decided to take me another way to avoid the traffic. Anyway, he drove me in completely the opposite direction. He kept saying that his GPS voice was wrong. Finally, he made a lame excuse that he thought I said Lovettsville or Lucketts or something like that. I had given him the complete address in Round Hill, including the zip code. I'm not sure why he thought it was okay to take me on a 45 minute joy ride when I had some place to be at a specific time. At arrival to my destination, he told me the charge was $50. I asked if he was charging me for going the wrong way and he said he wasn't. I told him that when I got an estimate the night before, the guy at United Cab had told me $35 to $40. I didn't see any meters or anything like I would expect in a taxi. He changed my fee from $50 to $40. I ended up feeling bad and gave him $45, including a $5 tip that he didn't exactly deserve. read more

Last minute pick up (my bad!!), they were amazing. Picked me up exactly on time, even though it was going to be a short trip for them. Driver was super friendly, very safe, and reasonably priced (so I could add a bit extra on the tip!!). Will use them again! read more

I was recently in Leesburg and I needed a ride from the Dulles airport. I called these guys and within 15minutes I had a cab waiting for me. The driver was nice and suggested some stuff to do around the DMV (I am not from Virginia). He charged me $40 for the ride. I told him that I would be needing his service again in 10days. The day I was scheduled to leave, I called them to confirm my ride and they informed me that someone was already on their way. The same guy came to drop me back to the airport. Once again he charged me $40. Overall I liked the service I received and how friendly the staff were. I will for sure use them again the next time I am in the area. read more

Best cab experience ever : ). We are visiting Leesburg from out of town. Our car broke down at 1 am at an IHOP. The cab came quickly and was very friendly. He offered to jump our car. He took time and was so helpful without any extra cost. read more

I live in Leesburg and travel often to Dulles, I tried United Taxi and almost missed my flight, 15mins after my scheduled picked up at 630 I was phoned by dispatch saying the driver had experienced a flat tire...as if this was relevant to why I was receiving the call 15 mins after the fact. I understand that 'these' things do happen, however, wouldn't the driver gotten the flat with plenty of time to let dispatch know?! read more

Awful service. Driver was on the phone the entire time no hands free device. We were almost in an accident due to him not paying attention. I called to report it but the person on the help line was not helpful. There website does even have a place to submit a formal complaint. Awful dangerous service read more

Wanted to give them a try for an early morning pickup. Made reservation for pickup more than 12 hours in advance. After the pickup time came and went I called and they had no idea there was a reservation. Uber saved the day and will continue to get my trips several times each week while united gets $0 ever from me. read more

I reserved a cab 45 minutes bites ago and someone who just called was able to get in. That is f-Inc ridiculous.

I called a day in advance to make reservation for a pickup at my residence to Dulles Airport at 6:30am. On the day of pickup, 15 minutes before the cab was due to arrive I get a call from dispatch saying they could not pick me up. I then had to hustle to get the Washington Flyer to come and get me 30 minutes later than I needed. In fairness I understand United having trouble as that is when we had about 2" of snow, but I wish they would have called me sooner rather than later! Washington Flyer did not seem to have the same problem in picking me up. read more

LOVE these guys!!!!!! every driver we have had has been fabulous and kind i will never use another cab company in Leesburg other than UNITED CAB! they are so helpful every time i need a ride to the store they always offer to even help us unload our bags! LOVE love LOVE united cab! read more

Service was good - turned up on time and got us to the airport - but VERY expensive. I'm used to paying around $38 from Leesburg to Dulles. I asked the price ahead of time - $35 to $40 - right ballpark. So how did it cost $58? And that's taking rte 7 so no tolls. Extra $ for taking 2 people. Extra $ for bags. Would have been cheaper to drive and park. Won't be using them again. These guys should be regulated. read more

I stayed in the historical district of Leesburg as my base of operations due to a really good buddy of mine was tying the knot at the Landsdowne Resort. My first encounter with United Cab was an epic fail due to a particular driver being quite unprofessional in keeping a booked appointment fare... However, if you really need great service, call and ask for Mustapha... a very gracious, intelligent and professional individual who will be arrive early to your point of departure and take you to your ultimate destination. His service more than made up for my initial terrible experience. I will definitely use his services again when I'm in Leesburg. read more

Called at midnight from a place well out of town. Dispatcher told me 15 minutes and very much to my surprise, the car arrived almost exactly fifteen minutes later. The car was clean, the driver was very nice. Cost was slightly higher than the uber I took to get there (always is), but the cab driver's route was faster (no traffic either way), and at midnight on a Saturday there was no uber to be had. read more

I went out to dinner with friends and got sick, so took a United Cab home. I called Washington Dulles Cab afterwards and they estimated the cost at $20-$25 from the same locations. I got in the cab and the cab driver was driving one handed, while holding his cell phone in the other. I got sick again in the cab. The cab driver was cursing and muttering and I was very embarrassed. I apologized several times and when we were about 5 minutes from home he said I was going to have to pay $150 for cleaning. Once we got to my house, he said he was charging me $200. I expected a cleaning charge, but when I got home and looked up the normal charge for this, most states regulate a cleaning charge at $50. It was 11:30 at night and I was alone with this cab driver. I felt he took advantage of the situation. I called the cab company to try and work things out, but calling this place was useless. These people are completely unprofessional and they are not regulated so they can charge you anything they'd like for any reason. Stick with a reputable cab company. read more

We had a group of 8 so we ordered 2 cabs several hours ahead of time. The cars showed up late, overcharged us, and both drivers were extremely rude when we questioned the additional charges. Apparently they have a second meter to add on the amount of time/mileage it took to get from their headquarters to where they were picking us up. This extra charge is not listed on their website. They also refused to pick us up after dinner, leaving my family stranded in Purcellville for over an hour. Do NOT recommend relying on this cab company! read more

About as bad as it gets. I was promised a car in 10-15 minutes but waited a full hour. You can imagine the phone conversations in the interim (dispatcher: "I'll call him and get back to you," which he didn't; driver: "be there in two minutes," which turned out to be another fifteen). When I asked the driver what took him so long, he said he had been sleeping. When I asked whether he had really just said that he had been sleeping, the driver responded that he works at night. The guy then had the gall to try to gouge me with a non-metered fare, at which point I got out of the cab and called another company. Stay clear of these clowns. read more

Ordered service 2 weeks in advance, recieved a confirmation call a couple days later. No show for my bridal party. Called and they said 45 minutes. Tried calling to get an update and they wouldn't pick up from my number 4 times. Tried a different phone and they picked up immediately.
