We had all of the windows in our home replaced by Legendary Cal-Rep Windows in 2020, and…read moreunfortunately, our experience has been incredibly frustrating ever since. Shortly after installation, we discovered that the large staircase window leaked whenever it rained. Over the past five years, their "fix" was repeatedly applying messy exterior silicone that looked terrible and never solved the issue. At one point, they even suggested the leak might be caused by something within our home rather than the window itself. Eventually, they replaced the window and discovered the original installation they had ordered the wrong size window and had tried to just fill the gaps in and make it work. The second replacement was faulty, requiring yet another order and installation. Now, in 2026, the newest window was installed but still does not function. A Milgard representative inspected it and confirmed the issue is due to improper installation. Despite all of this, we still have no resolution, and there has been little to no proactive effort from the company to make things right. We are extremely disappointed with the product, installation, and overall service. Messages are ignored or we are told they are "checking on the status" but we never hear back. I will update this review if we EVER receive a proper resolution! I am in the customer service business myself, so to have a company treat you this way is so very disappointing.

Damaged Goods: They installed scratched, low-quality glass. Ghosting Customers: When I tried to reach out for a resolution, I found out that many other customers are reporting they "changed ownership" as an excuse to avoid taking responsibility for their previous mistakes. They take your money ($15k for labor!) and leave you with damaged products, then vanish. This is not a "Legendary" company; it's a predatory business. Jason and his team helped me order the part in bronze (a special order, since it needed to be painted) and cut it down to size for me to pick up. The second time, the attachment to the wheel on top of my door needed replacing, and they were able to replace that whole corner and put on all new wheels. Now, the door runs so smoothly that it slides open with a light push. I was able to save some money by dropping off and picking up, since I live close by. They're also responsive and friendly. I'm sure I'll use them again when my next obscure problem needs fixing!

They also had my mailing address incorrect. I spoke with Max the day before my appointment to correct it, yet there were still multiple errors. Overall, the business seems very unorganized. The receptionist told me Max was in the office, so I was surprised when Max later claimed my appointment was with a different representative. This inconsistency felt very unprofessional and questionable. I took time out of my day for this appointment, and it is extremely rude and unprofessional that they never showed up. I do not recommend doing business with this company. There are many other businesses that provide much better customer service.

The approach felt more like selling a specific product than helping me choose what actually made sense for my situation. With another company, the consultation was done over a Zoom meeting. I actually initially thought I would go with them because I really liked the rep I was speaking with and their pricing seemed reasonable. However, I didn't get to see the windows in person, so when I later met with Shawn from Window World and experienced the full in-home demo with actual samples, that made a big difference in helping me feel confident in my decision. From the start, Shawn Smith was friendly, personable, and most importantly--he listened. He gave me options instead of pushing a single product, and was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions in a way that made the decision process much easier. The ordering process was also very smooth and fast from manufacture through installation scheduling. The only delay on my end was HOA approval, since I live in a condo. The installation coordinator, Yolla, was absolutely amazing--honestly one of the sweetest people I've ever worked with during a home project. She kept everything organized and communicated clearly throughout the process. The installers, Pablo and his partner, were efficient, professional, and friendly. There was an issue with the sliding glass door upon delivery--scratches were noticed before installation. I really appreciated that Yolla proactively called me ahead of time rather than bringing it out and discovering it on-site. She immediately arranged a rush replacement order, which I felt was handled very professionally. Overall, everything turned out great. The windows look fantastic, the screens are practically invisible, and I had five windows plus a small sliding glass door installed.
