From day one they were organized and thoroughly planned out, and they executed flawlessly. They overcommunicate in the best way: you have access to everyone's cell phones, they respond promptly, and if you have an issue, they are there instantly. The quality of the work is beyond top tier, and it's clear the entire company is 100% focused on client satisfaction. The only two issues we ran into were self-inflicted on our end. In both cases, Pool Boss was there the next day and fixed them. When I asked for the bill, the answer was, "There is no bill, we just want you to be happy." That tells you everything about how they operate. The team is outstanding: Matt, Dan, Lisa, Joanna, Tyler, Jadyn, William, and the owner, Chris. They define world-class service. If there were a rating above five stars, they would earn it. I wouldn't just say they're highly recommended; I'd say you would be making a huge mistake going with anyone else. The absolute best in every facet of the business: prep, design, price, communication, timelines, and quality. No one better.

The Biosphere pool is an awesome facility with an indoor-outdoor jacuzzi and a natural looking pool…read morewith waterfalls and a grotto jacuzzi. It even has a waterslide. However, if you come on a weekday the waterslide is closed. The pool area is 5 stars on weekends. However, the bar/cafe opens late on weekdays. They don't permit you to bring any outside food or beverages in but they also don't sell any on weekdays. I asked if I could have room service bring food and drink to the pool and I was told no. So if you're looking to enjoy the pool and a drink, make sure to do it in a weekend.

Scott, Ron, and Chris have been opening and closing our pool for years. They're fast, they're friendly, and most importantly, they come when they say they're going to come! Thank you guys for all your hard work over the years, especially lugging everything up and down our moss-encrusted cement basement stairs. Even I'm terrified to use that outside staircase, but somehow you guys have never once mentioned how horrible it is. Great guys, great service, and definitely deserving of a five-star review!

How is this place still in business??! It must be the markups on the poor quality products, mixed…read morewith the expensive contracts they get for outright poor jobs they do. I gave this business thousands- all regrettable life lessons learned. They lie to you. Sleaze their way into you paying up, with them delivering wrong information and extremely poor work. They even lied they showed up to my house, when cameras show no one in sight for hours. I did pool liner with them: started coming off and they blamed anything they possibly can (water itself, the liner they themselves installed, and, the funniest one, the last installer which was them). When they ask you who did the last work- say a competing business or you forgot, and watch how quickly they point out all the wrong things done even they're the ones that did it. Their warranty is bogus but they're smart about avoiding any actually quality work and follow up. Schedule will keep extending. Dates will keep changing. People will show up for 30-45 min and scam you. They'll make problems much bigger so they can come back and take more money. They don't believe your photos, videos, or what you are seeing in your own home. They always follow their made-up delusions. The people who make the decisions and you give your money mostly to are not the people who do the job, nor do they show up to see anything. You'll find an extremely rude, unprofessional, and liar of a person named Darlene working you through the phone. The mostly behind the curtain guy is Dan- he will talk his 30 years of experience with you to get you to believe, and of course take your money. You will lose your money. You will face more problems in your pool and system than you started with. You will be lied to. You will regret your decision to worth with these slimy people. Go elsewhere. Do it yourself. Order online. Anything but conduct business with this company of liars and deceivers. You work hard, so take it easy and give your money and time to a more deserving business. Monarch is not it.

NIGHTMARE!!!! -- DO NOT PAY THEM UNTIL THE JOB IS 100% COMPLETE…read more I live 1,000 miles away and hired Royal Pools to refurbish a pool at my elderly mother's house in New York that had basically turned into a swamp. They were the highest price but came highly recommended by neighbors and I didn't want to cut corners and take a chance. At their request, I made the mistake of paying them when the job was "almost done." In the time it took me to run to the store and come back, they packed up and left without finishing the job. Like other reviews have said, their attitude went from great to downright hostile the minute they had their money. I spent $25,000 to have this pool refurbished, and they left me with a pool that is unfinished, leaking, unable to properly circulate, and with no chemicals in it. It is now starting to turn back into the same swamp I paid them to fix. Now I have to take more time off work and fly back to NY to find a company to finish the job. If they'll do this to a 75 year old widow, I doubt they'll care about taking your money.
