Doors wide open and a BBQ in front parking lot. Walk-in and they tell he I have to leave because I don't have an appointment. Not a great way to start! Walked back out and left. Not sure why you need an appointment. No one was in the store. Kinda rude!

It will be a month on Friday 8/20 since we received our outdoor damaged kitchen and still have not heard from the cooperate office on when they will be out to repair the multiple areas of damaged or broken stucco. Many calls and emails and nothing. Paradise Grills hands down has the worst customer service after purchase I have every seen. Do Not buy from these people!!!

"I purchased an adjustable bed base and mattress set in March 2022 for $7,597, excluding taxes and…read moreextended warranties from Star Furniture. In December 2025, the mattress began developing a noticeable hump and breaking down on one side. I first filed a claim with Montage, the extended warranty provider, and was told it was denied due to "excessive staining" supposedly caused by animals or medical incontinence--claims that were completely false. After I disputed this and confirmed there were no stains, no pets on the bed, and no medical issues, I was told the mattress itself was only covered by the manufacturer, Tempur-Pedic. I then submitted a claim to Tempur-Pedic with all required photos. My claim was initially delayed because the mattress cover had been removed for washing. After resubmitting photos with the cover in place, the claim was denied within 24 hours for "liquid damage" and "stains." The areas they circled as "stains" were simply part of the mattress cover's design. I requested a physical inspection, but the case was passed to another reviewer who again denied the claim, repeating the same inaccurate reasoning. The mattress is not stained, and it is clear that both the manufacturer and the extended warranty provider use "staining" as a blanket excuse to avoid honoring their warranties. For a product at this price point, the lack of accountability and refusal to address a legitimate defect is unacceptable. DO NOT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY!!! It's truly a joke. The manufacture's warranty is even worse. You are just taking your chances when you purchase furniture from this company. In total, I spent about $16,000 during this trip and neither the sectional nor the adjustable bed set with the mattress were worth it. I strongly advise others to avoid this company."

8.26.23 I waited to write my review for Star Furniture…read moreuntil we received our delivery. Furniture shopping is a PITA (pain in the ***) We looked for weeks for stuff we liked. We needed living room furniture, bedroom furniture and a new mattress. We stopped in here because they were having their Labor Day sale. 25% off! Ok...let's do this. A real nice lady named Jill Smith helped us. She has worked for Star for 20 yrs, so she knows her furniture. She was able to find everything we were looking for and a few bonus pieces. The bonus items are a new rug and a great leather chair and ottoman on clearance. We have a few items on back order but I'm ok for now. Let me tell you about their delivery guys. This is super important to me. I have had some really terrible delivery guys come to the house lately(Lowe's). So now I'm nerves about all delivery guys. Star furnitures delivery guys were FANTASTIC! They put a "red carpet" down on our floor to protect it while they were bringing our new stuff inside. They were respectful of our home. They picked up all the trash, removed our old furniture and wrapped it up. They donate our old furniture to Salvation Army. I love that! They were careful not to hit the walls and did not drop tools on our floor. I DEFINITELY will be recommend Star furniture to my family and friends. I'm thinking about going back and looking for a coffee table now.

We purchased a few rooms of furniture from them some years back, but Yelp was not available then,…read moreso this is me catching up. We had one of their designers visit our home, we spent a lot of pleasant, quality time with her, selecting about 8 pieces of furniture for two rooms, with the rest of the home furnishings to be completed with her six months later. Another three rooms plus accents and such. We already had almost everything picked out and priced. So. They delivered our 2500.00 armoire one afternoon, and it had a HUGE crack, running across the side, through the corner post, and right across the front of the unit. The crack had been made to look distressed, but it had obviously been damage, probably fell on its side somewhere along the way. You could see through the crack in the front door right into the unit, it was that wide. Like a half inch in places. Well, we asked them to take it back, and deliver another, which they did, quite agreeably. The replacement was delivered within an hour and was in perfect shape. No harm, no foul. We still have it; my wife still loves the piece. A few days later I stopped by the store and went to speak with the designer about future plans and pieces we were selecting, but she was utterly frigid. She was alone at her desk but just glared and said not one word to me. So I said to her "Oh! I get it! You told the crew to 'Unload the damaged unit on the young couple, they're agreeable and will be accommodating'. Is that it what we're looking at here? And you were embarrassed when they brought it back?" Glare and no response. So, while there, I made my first monthly payment; I went to the counter in the back, handed the clerk the pay coupon, got a receipt, and everything was cool. Except. About 30 or 45 days later we received a dunning letter for the late first payment. I called the store and explained that that payment had been made, and that I had the cancelled check. They promised to take care of it. A month or so later - meanwhile, we were keeping up on our payments - we were again dunned for the first payment. I called again and they said they did not have any record of it. I stopped in the store a few weeks later, went to the store manager with proof of payment, he went to the back and checked, and came back to me, very unfriendly-like, and told me I made a mistake. "Sir: you paid the bank, not Ethan Allen." I asked him "What????" and he informed me that, when we applied for store credit, we had actually opened a back account. And I had made our first payment directly to that bank, not through Ethan Allen, per se. He blithely and indignantly told me that, had I looked carefully at the account number on my receipt, I would see that it is the incorrect account number. The bank number, not the store account. I basically told him that he was crazy to say something like that to me. Well. It hit our credit file, and was in our file for 7 years - the only black mark we have had in 25 years of marriage. Ethan Allen, despite numerous requests, refused to remove this from the file. I later became good acquaintances with a former executive regional director for Ethan Allen (this store, she told me, is an indepedently-owned operation and was not reportable to her) and she used to shake her head and tell us DO NOT shop at Ethan Allen. Not good, she used to shake her head and say. 'You should never shop with them."
