Unfortunately, they dropped the machine and damaged it, refusing to acknowledge the harm. Dan reacted as if I had run over his cat when we informed him that his team had dropped the machine. Given that they are in the business of delivering and relocating machines, I did not consider this outside their scope of work; as a longstanding customer, I anticipated this would be a straightforward matter. Dan's behavior resembled that of a schoolgirl whose ponytail had just been pulled--if she were a 250-pound sassy bully in a bar. At that moment, it became evident that this individual was not managing a friendly family enterprise but was instead intent on shouting and speaking over me in unwarranted anger. Recognizing that his conduct was merely sad bullying, I found no productive way to resolve it at this point. To compound the issue, one week later, a machine I purchased six months prior malfunctioned at a men's group home. Dan delayed the warranty service for three weeks, giving the group home manager excuses such as being busy or on vacation, and ultimately refused to honor the warranty. So, because we accused them of dropping the washing machine during the previous delivery, he stated, "I will not warranty your machine." This family business should consider retiring the unpleasant and abusive proprietor. It is advisable to avoid this company and instead patronize larger retail establishments. Such evolution is inevitable; unfortunately, Albers does not evolve in this manner. STAY AWAY. Clearly going down.

So here's the current situation: purchase of a range, delivery and installation of the same. The…read morerange is pretty close to DOA - starts overheating. BrandMart USA says they can't do anything, we need to talk to manufacturer. Manufacturer provides an authorization for exchange. We then try to reach out to Brandsmart to schedule an exchange and delivery. Guess what? The sales can't help, it has to be customer service. No problem, right? Wrong. Customer service won't pick up the phone. Try to access through the phone system for an hour before calling the sales line again and they try to patch me through, but ... shockingly, customer service won't pick up their lines either. Stay on hold with sales for 30 minutes more while this plays out before giving up. So ... days later, no love. This range is for my 90 year old grandmother, and she can't cook for herself and is now exhausting her limited fixed budget thanks to Brandsmart. So ... poor quality, literally non-existent customer support ... don't know what else to say.

When we first walked in, we weren't quite sure what kinds of products they are selling. Yes, I do see a few hoods in display, but most of the store is displaying something else which are not associated with home appliances. The store staff was very friendly ad polite. We explained to her what we are looking for and she immediately brought our attention to one of the product which she said is on sale, but it ends today. The product she showed us seemed like a very well made hood. She made a demonstration on how powerful the hood is able to remove the smokes and orders. It all sounded great until we found out it costs over $1k before installation. We love to cook, but not that much. Even the products looks great and apparently can do the job, but we are just not ready to fork over $1K unless we are ready to open a home Japanese hibachi place. We started walking over to Lowe's next door thinking, does a range hood cost that much these days. Even thought the store staff was very friendly and helpful, and I am sure that product on sales is a very good product, that's just a little bit out of our league.

However, if you compare the installation photos and my photos wouldn't it be more reasonable to compare them. If in fact the issue doesn't show in the photos then I understand to not cover the issue. To come out and basically tell me that they wouldn't accept responsibility for delivering a dented machine is a little rediculous considering the size of the store.
