    This has to be THE MOST shady business I've seen. These people hang up on you, use foul language, and DO NOT respect the customer once that deal has been made. I bought a TV online from them to which they delivered, upon delivery the team stated they needed to open the box to make sure it worked... I thought that was strange as they weren't installing it or anything. I asked them ok if you turn it on and it works there may be other issues that I could still return it without any problems correct? They said Yes of course. I decided to return the tv due to poor black levels and an overall clunky/slow menu experience, it just was not up to the standards I had for an expensive TV. I went to initialize a return which is what brings me up to the RUDE customer service. I chatted online as there is NO return function like a Best Buy etc., so the person on chat told me I need to send an "email" to the customer service address and they will get back to me within 24 hours, 24 hours came and went so I decided to call the number. After I spoke to someone and asked them about a return they said to send the email and also "I don't have anyone here right now that could help you", after that they hung up on me... I called back about an hour later and spoke to a woman who seemed she was more inclined to help me. She took my order number and told me that there would be a 39.99 pick up fee (it's a large TV) and I said well ok, then she stated also a 20% restocking fee! I asked where on your website or return policy does it state flat panel TV's are subject to 20% restocking fees, I read it cover to cover. She said if you look on Flat Panels it says it, I said do you have it in front of you? Please read it to me, then some man got the phone and rudely stated "that is our policy , it's not our fault you didn't like the TV". I then politely asked ok, can you please read to me where you are seeing that infromation, he said it's right there on the website (he is referring to where it says at the beginning of the return/exchanges policy "a restocking fees may be due for some items" I said, well, where is it written what these "some items" are? Usually this is reserved for cell phones, activated devices etc., I said if you can point that out to me that would be helpful, guess what, he just hung up (again). I received an email from that initial email I sent days before, stating very nicely, yes sir no problem we can schedule a pickup of the TV but it would be $59.99 (mind you a difference price now) for the pickup fee and it will be deducted from the value you paid for the TV and to let them know so they can schedule it. As much as I was inclined to say ok go ahead, I wrote back, "so ok it's now 59.99 vs 39.99 but there is no restocking fee attached to this correct as NOT stated on your website for flat panel TV's". They wrote back the next day... stating "if the box has not been opened no, otherwise if it has been opened there will be a 20% restocking fee" -- They literally open the TV upon delivery to "check it", they stated it was their policy. I come to find out they also open the TV or items upon buying them in store as well lol. Mind you this "checking" consists of plugging it in and seeing snow on the screen, they have no idea how to check a TV (at least the delivery guys that came to my house), wow... PSA: Buy from BrandsMart at your own risk. In my opinion and many others it is not worth the risk for the small price delta you may achieve vs going to a Best Buy/Amazon. They know exactly what they are doing opening the boxes etc., it's NOT to benefit you. Think about how many times do TV's actually come DOA, it's probably in the 95% percentile that it doesn't happen. See screenshots here of there return policy, no where does it state what the "some items" are only that you need to have original packaging, accessories etc. with the unit and of course not damaged.

    I am pleased to report that our second transaction with Kanny at Brandsmart has been a success. Kanny is amazing. She is smart, professional, and gets things done on time! She made it easy for me. Excellent service! I will definitely call her again in the future for the next transaction. The stove is installed, and the tenant is happy! What more can we ask for? Thank you to Kanny and Brandsmart.

    I called Brandsmart about my warranty and to have a service tech fix an issue with my fridge. My appointment was set for June 1st which was a Saturday. I was told they would call me before that date on Friday May 31st but no one did. I called sat morning and finally was told that the tech would be out later that day. I had taken the day off from work to take care of this issue. The tech (Louis) arrived, saw the model of the fridge, said he knows about the issues that fridge has, tried to open the ice maker (which he couldn't) and said he'd notify the service center that the issue couldn't be fixed. The tech arrived and left in a total of two mins (see attached pics). I called today to see what the next step in this process of rectifying the situation and was told I'd have to set up another appointment. If the issue could have been fixed the tech wouldn't have stayed only two mins. I now have to take another day off and miss out on money just for another tech to come and give me the same results because the tech has already said it's a known issue. Also calling into the service center is a horrible experience. The language barrier and difficulty understanding even though I pressed 1 for English was crazy. The level of service has definitely gone down with this company.
