I ordered two carnitas tacos and one lengua taco all of which were on point! The meat was tender and flavorful with a green and a red hot sauce served on the side that added just the right amount of heat and a nice added boost of flavor. They were served with onion and cilantro true to the street taco experiences I grew up with in Tucson. The rice was fresh - none of those surprise "crispy" grains that signal rice that has either been sitting out or reheated. The refried beans were fantastic and also reminded me of home. Even the horchata was amazing. Although the food was a standout what struck me most was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Clean tables, floors, and bathrooms all signal that this restaurant cares about details. Even the hot sauce bottles (which I am used to seeing cakes with old drips and drops) were absolutely spotless. I truly believe that things like this matter and suggest that the kitchen is also in good shape. Tye menu was a bit large and could be somewhat overwhelming so much so that I didn't bother to read everything. Besides - I already knew what I wanted. Service was friendly, prompt, and accurate. This place is an absolute MUST for when I return to Sheboygan and it receives two enthusiastic thumbs up from both me and my friend from El Paso - and both of us are experts on good Mexican food.

We arrived for our reservation (3 people on a Thursday @ 11:15am) and there was no hostess. We waited 5 mins then walked to the bartender to ask if we should just sit down-- he said he would call the hostess from the back. She seemed flustered but friendly and seated us right away. She took our drink order immediately and we also ordered the Cantina Nachos with carne asada to share. The appetizer arrived within minutes and we placed our lunch orders when she brought our drinks. So far everything seemed on point. The taco orders (3 per person) came within 5 mins and they were really tasty/spectacular (since our first time visiting we tried the Carne Asada, Birria, Chorizo, Zihuatanejo Shrimp, and the Pollo Verde--served with rice and pinto beans/black beans--everything was A++ for taste.) A gentleman from the back served us these tacos and we asked for drink refills because our waitress never returned. We noticed a sizable line at the hostess station with no hostess again. Two women with a child left after waiting 10 mins, a policeman was waiting in line also left, 3 working men in construction vests seated themselves at a table close to the bar (they later left after waiting a while and never saw the waitress). We did see a woman dressed in black who seemed to be carrying bagged takeout orders up to the front but she did not wait tables. After 20 mins of no drinks we went to the bar ourselves to ask about the drinks. The bartender apologized; one of us flagged down the waitress who seemed overwhelmed. She was waiting a table of 2 women who had been sitting for 15 mins with no beverage/food ordered. Another worker came out to bring their order in 2 mins but it turned out to be the order for an adjacent table. It was very clear that either someone did not show up for work shift or there was some other front of house/server crisis. From the first time we placed our food order at 11:12am until we flagged down the woman carrying takeout orders so we could get our bill at 12:07pm, no one ever came to our table to refresh drinks, to ask if we wanted/needed anything else--no service whatsoever. I paid the bill on the InKind app (which had recommended Belair Cantina in the first place) and we left the table. As we walked out, I mentioned to the beleaguered waitress that we paid via app, and she said "thanks, I'm so sorry". Not sure what else to comment. Does spectacular food taste/quality overcome dreadful service issues? All three of us said we would definitely order take out meals from Belair Cantina, but would most likely not visit for an in-dining experience.

So often, in fact, that the owner has referred to me as "The Guac Guy" a time or two. Beyond serving up quick, cheap, and relatively large tacos, Taco Town has some of the best customer service you will find at a fast food spot. The owner always greets you with a smile, an upbeat energy, and a can do attitude. If you have a problem or a strange request, they will do all they can to make sure you end your visit satisfied. Overall, they're a great and unique business that I will continue to support so long as they stick around.

It was a condiment soy sauce looking packet that said "hot sauce" and looked like a watery Tabasco. I unroll my burrito from the foil. One look at my flour tortilla and I could tell this wasn't even warmed up on a press. Tortilla was cool to touch. Opened burrito to put on Tabasco and the yellow cheese wasn't even melted or close to melting. The refried beans were nothing special. La Preferida probably has more taste to it. The steak was so-so and not too hot. Overall, these things are what I would expect in a solid burrito. I knew I should have went to Taco Burrito Mexico as soon as I heard "no cilantro"!
