Second is don't allow more than 70% of the damn bar to have tables reserved. Just went in and there were at least 15 table with little white notes on them with peoples names. 15 EMPTY tables for a football game and 3 patrons waiting to give money for beer and food. Sorry, that's a recipe for me and my friends not to ever come back. The last time we were there, I got the tomato soup and grilled cheese... and ended up sitting on the toilet the rest of the evening. Sam'z pub it is from now on.

My hot wings was drenched in delicious Buffalo sauce mixture. My partners wings on the other hand did not appeal to me. The dry rubs for Cajun and Tex Mex was not consistently coated. The sauce for the Caribbean wings was cold. All in all the wings could have been presented better. I know it's a bar, but I have been to other bars for cheap wing night and presentation was still on point. My Caesar salad was well dressed, but somehow it was flavourless like it was missing something... anchovies? The Caesar drink tasted a little bit off however once I squeezed my lime, it was good to drink. Some may consider this a divey bar. I didn't hate nor did I didn't like it here. I could tell some of the customers are regulars. I did not notice inflation prices on the menu. Great service! My partner thought our server did an excellent job.

Most recently, hubby and I went with a group of friends and coworkers to the tavern for dinner. I will admit the parking lot isn't great and on the smaller side. We managed to see someone leaving and grabbed their spot. Some of our friends had to park quite a bit further away and walk over. It was also a hotter/more humid summer day and we ended up sitting on the patio. Unfortunately it felt more like an enclosed patio and by the end of the night it was quite the contrast to the icy cold air conditioned tavern interior. The servers tried their best to keep us hydrated with pitchers of water... but this may be the rare time I say skip the patio in the summer. Now to focus on the more positive aspects. I had the Tavern Cheeseburger and my husband ultimately decided on the Philly Cheesesteak. My cheeseburger was a solid standard. Nice patty, melted cheese and didn't skimp on the tomatoes, lettuce, etc. The Philly Cheeseteak was a huge portion that hubby barely finished and it looked cheesy/oozy good (and it was, or at least the small bite I took. Service was good, food was solid. I liked the ambiance of a more "up-scale" neighbourhood pub. Just make sure you consider sitting inside (in the AC) on a hot summer's day.

Nicely appointed, the venue is quickly becoming a go-to spot for locals. The ambiance is clean and fresh, well lit, a mix of high tops, and four tops with a few booths/banquettes. While I was enjoying my time at the establishment, the manager approached me and complained that I was "staring" at her. I found this accusation to be completely uncalled for and unprofessional. As a customer sitting directly at the bar, my line of sight naturally falls on the service area in front of me where staff are working. If a member of your management team does not wish to be looked at or be within a customer's field of vision while they are serving patrons, they should not be standing directly in front of the bar seating area. It is entirely unreasonable to expect a customer to awkwardly avert their eyes just because a staff member happens to be standing in their direct line of sight. I am incredibly disappointed by how I was treated. Instead of making customers feel comfortable, this manager's defensive attitude and unnecessary confrontation created a hostile and awkward environment. I expect your management staff to handle themselves with a higher level of professionalism and common sense. I hope this matter is addressed internally so future patrons do not have to deal with similar absurd accusations. I look forward to your response regarding how this situation will be handled.

The place is located at one end of a small strip mall, adjacent to a liquor store with plenty of parking on a weeknight. Interior was larger than expected because the pub is not easily viewable from the main streets. Lots of high top seating, a decent amount of regular tables, and an insane amount of TV's along one wall, plus a couple of darts boards. You could probably watch every sports game available without having to turn your neck. A very nice selection of food and drinks for a neighbourhood pub. Hubby had British Style Fish & Chips, but portion wise they looked like they went light on the fries. I opted for a Chicken Caesar Wrap with grilled chicken breast, and easy on the dressing since we both decided to order a pint each of their house beers. He said the beer wasn't very good and in all honesty I thought the beer was okay in the same way that I don't have high expectations for house wines. It was drinkable and that was good enough for me. Maybe it was getting later in the evening, but at some point between the waitress and the kitchen, my order changed. Not much, but suddenly I got the wraps with chicken tenders, and a regular amount of Caesar salad dressing and not for the other available customization I had chosen. It wasn't as if I asked for a special customization for my wrap...but I decided it wasn't worth the effort to complain or ask that they remake the food. It is as you would expect of a neighbourhood pub in Surrey. Decent prices, free parking, and a place where you can be as loud and rambunctious with your friends and have a good time.

It is the worse hard liquor I have ever bought. Lavender?? No, just some slightly amber gin that I can't even mix with anything. Whitley Niell makes a great Parma Lavender Gin that I first tried in a cocktail in Portsmouth UK. It isn't sold in Canada anymore unfortunately and was only for a short period. That was the reason I snapped up the Roots and Wings gin but I am resigned to using it for cleaning. I did try some of their other products and only the Abisnstine impressed me. I would have loved to have given a great review of their liquor but that wasn't possible. Drinking their cocktails is a different thing as they have a great mixologist. My advice- visit them, get a sample before buying, and buy only what tastes good to you. Everyone has different tastes.

I was the only there since it was 1pm on a Monday after all. Was about to grab to an Old Fashion after looking at their online menu, but was then told that they did flights so that's what I got. The flight; You choose six from a list of about 15. They do primarily vodka, but they do have some whiskey, gin, and even am Absinthe. I was very happy with all 6 and would order them again. I won't really go into any detail about each spirit since everyone has their own preference when it comes to alcohol. What I can say is that their Old Fashioned Spirit was my favorite. The service: The person working at the time was really friendly and helpful. Willing to answer questions about the spirits and make recommendations. The distillery: It's small and due to Covid Protocols they're only accepting 6 people in the building; however, they have a lot of outdoor space to enjoy. Their pick-up truck bar is the most eye catching so that's where we sat. I'd 100% come back here and if I lived in Langley I'd probably make this place one of my go to hangouts.
