She said she was wrapping up her shift in 5 minutes, and could personally deliver the chicken to our home. We compromised instead on a halfway meeting place, and she made the effort to personally hand it off, along with a yuuuge, complimentary brownie for dessert. We tried two of the burnt pieces and they tasted very bitter. When we asked if they could replace them, we were told they had already run out and couldn't make another batch. The pricing was $10 for 8 pieces or $18 for 16 pieces, I was order $18 for 16 but the bill was not right. We only ordered three dishes in total. Although the restaurant opens at 4:00 PM, by the time we arrived around 5:30 PM, many menu items were already sold out, including the pizza and steak. The salmon was also served undercooked at first. They did remake it, and the second salmon was cooked properly, but the replacement portion was about half the size of the original. Our server seemed to be new and may not have received enough training, so the issues weren't handled very well. In the end, we left still hungry and went somewhere else to eat.

In the past few months (March, May July 2023), I have eaten there 3 times. Each and every time the food was excellent, the staff friendly and efficient. The restaurant is clean. You can't beat the prices. You'll love the simplicity of the basic meals that are consistently very good, down-to-earth home cooking. I don't understand the owner's talk of "dinner". They close at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. so I'm thinking they serve just breakfast and lunch only, unless they serve salmon and other common dinner entries on Friday and Saturday before closing at the posted hour of 2:00 p.m. I did send them a suggestion that they post the time that they stop serving breakfast, because it is quite a drive out to the airport and by the time you get seated, you are ready for a great breakfast. It's a heartbreaker to hear "Oh I'm sorry, we quite serving breakfast 20 minutes ago". Especially when your heard is set on pancakes and sausage! Made me cry.
