Went to Papi Steak on a Sunday night with a group, and everything you've heard about this place is true. First, our server: absolutely phenomenal. Incredibly attentive, upbeat, and always a step ahead--anticipating what we needed before we asked. Honestly, even if the food hadn't been great, the service alone would have made the night worthwhile. But the food was great. Decadent in the best way. Cocktails were spot on. Yes, we went for the infamous $90 potato with caviar--and it more than lived up to the hype. Zero regrets. Around 11 PM, the whole vibe shifted--the lights dropped, lasers kicked in, music turned up. It was fun, silly, and somehow nostalgic--like being dropped back into a more carefree time. The kind of moment that makes a night stick with you. Papi Steak nails it: anticipatory service, indulgent food, and a playful, high-energy atmosphere. It feels like the essence of South Beach wrapped up into one restaurant. Definitely a night to remember.

Daniel G. and the team at Papi Steak was phenomenal. The food, ambiance, and service was flawless. The drinks were always topped off and the table was always sparkling, even after we made a mess. I'm absolutely impressed with their attention to detail. Also, don't sleep on the latkas...they were . Enjoy!

Papi Steak is an EXPERIENCE! The restaurant is essentially a club with dim lights, loud music, dancers, and extravagant menu items with a performative debut. Our waiter was extremely attentive and knowledgeable, and helped us pick out the right items we were looking for. The place runs like a well oiled machine and everyone there is extremely efficient. You truly feel like you are fine dining in a luxurious yet lively environment. The food was also delicious. The only thing is that it was so loud, we could not talk at our table without shouting. So if you are looking for a mixed club/restaurant vibe, this is the place for you. If you are looking for somewhere quiet to have more conversation, I'd recommend you think twice.

Great food and vibes! Get ready for lots of noise. Great for celebrating or for a girls night out. Nicely decorated perfect for pictures. The Mac and cheese is a must try!! Also the papi mule is super good highly recommend.

The place gets a 2 star by how poorly our reservation was handled. We were there ahead of time. We had a reservation and were made wait over an hour in a hallway style seating area behind their bar where we received one drink and had no air circulating. It was hot. When we were seated we were basically sitting with other people at the same table which was truly a weird experience. The food was ok and portion was average sized. The music was so loud you could not hear the people next to you. It was so over priced for the terrible experience we had.

If there was one place that Conejo Malo's anthem "Monaco" would be the definition of.. one place where if you look up club restaurant in Merriam Webster's, Papi Steak would be it! Yes, it may not be the place when you want a regular churrasco. However, if you want to celebrate a promotion, a birthday or just a night out with friends, this would be a great spot. I came this past Sunday with a group of friends for Miami spice and we had a good time. For one, I appreciate it, how our server Benoit, again, even though was Miami spice, went ahead and added a candle on the dessert of the birthday girl. Our other waitress was able to skillfully balance tray of drinks and still video us for the social medias. For that level of attention , it does deserve five stars. We ordered from the Miami Spice menu but with add-ons and sides. Our server stated that if someone from the table ordered Miami Spice everyone had too, just FYI. My dinner started with the latke appetizer. The savoriness of the light breading mixed nicely with the sweet apple sauce and whipped Creme. As far as my main, I selected the churrasco aka the Wagyu Skirt Steak add-on. Served with chimicurri, juicy & flavorful medium well it is very much worth the add on. Side note for me, I enjoyed a bite of the carpaccio a friend ordered. For someone who barely goes below medium, this was life changing. The taste of the meat blended with notes of citrus was perfect. Side dishes were a la carte and we shared between the truffle Mac & cheese, corn, mashed potatoes and spinach. My favorites were the Mac & cheese as well as the corn. The chocolate profiterole dessert was a yummy sweet closing. Our group decided to add the wine pairing. Of those I loved the perfectly dry Malbec with my steak and dessert moscato.

I really, enjoyed the experience of this restaurant. I went with a large group with kids, which a lot of people gave us props for, because there is some eye catching entertainment (dancers and djs). They have a short track from Drake about this restaurant. Being from SoCal, the entertainment aspect of this place was lit. The food was pretty good too. Ordered a ton of food, from a NY strip, Carpaccio, mushrooms, a salad, etc. I would say the steak was pretty good, Fleming's quality. Carpaccio was amazing. Only thing I wish they had when I came here was a good dry aged rib eye. Other than that was a great experience!

Papi Steak is expensive--but totally worth it. You get what you pay for here. We had the truffle corn and mac & cheese as sides, and they paired perfectly with the steak we ordered--rich, flavorful, and just over-the-top in the best way. The service? Top-tier. Staff was on point the whole night--super attentive without being too much, which really makes the price feel justified. The vibe is pure Miami--loud, flashy, and fun. When someone orders one of the high-end plates, the whole place gets a show. Definitely a spot that makes a statement. Would 100% come back for a special night out.

Papi Steak showed me that I'm not built for Miami. The inside looks like a high end club and it is a place frequented by athletes and rappers. This is the type of place mob bosses frequent. The music is super loud and the prices on the menu had me checking my bank balance. They have a $3,000 caviar option and a $1,000 gold covered tomahawk steak. Someone ordered it and they stopped the music and turned on ultra loud EDM and had strobe lights flashing for a few minutes. The food was good, but not great. The cook on the steak was perfect and the flavor of the truffle fries, mac n cheese, and steak were all good, but not the best I've had. My main complaint is how unfriendly the waiter was. I guess he was disgusted that our bill was only three digits for 5 people. Oh, I also forgot to mention there's an attendant in the bathroom. This is a next level experience.

Went to celebrate my wife birthday. Nice place .. They seated us on first table in the middle between regular tables . No light over table so you don't see even a menu and then you cannot see exactly what's on your dish -have to use flash light . Service and food was - ok (don't want to go into details ) . Thank you for treat of birthday slice in the end that gets extra star rating . Overall- OK ... nothing special ....

The steaks are truly tender and full of flavor, even the ceaser salad was good and super fresh. The waiters also paid close attention to detail and explained the menu to us. Another great addition is the dim lights and great music that set the tone for a great dinner!

I made a reservation for my daughter and her bachelorette group who I was hosting in Miami for the weekend. This was night one and I was excited for them to get the full Papi steak experience. We arrived a little ahead of our reservation time and waited a few to be seated. There was only eight of us this night. We were taken to our table which was tucked away in a little private room with no view of the floor, stage area or any of the festivities. It's dark in the space and the vibe and atmosphere is like you're in an entirely different place. I was waiting for someone to come to the table so I could ask to be moved. Took a while so I went to find someone. The gentleman said yeah that space kind of sucks because you can't see anything. I'll send someone over. Finally our waiter came and started taking orders and I assume a manager came to ask me what I needed. He said he would check back with me and as soon as something else came available we could move. That ever happened now were we checked on. Our waiter gave us a round of Papi shots for the inconvenience I guess. He wasn't too bad. But for the amount of the check that I swiped my card for I was super underwhelmed and not interested in taking anyone else back under those circumstances. We ate and left immediately. I had the shrimp cocktail and a filet with Oscar topping, mushrooms and caviar that came with my cocktail. The food I would give a 4 star. The experience overall just fell flat for us all.

Had the most incredible dinner at Papi Steak tonight! Truly one of the best meals and experiences I have had at a restaurant recently in Miami. It was so good, I can't wait to go back again! This is a meal I will be reminiscing about frequently! This was my second time at Papi and it's truly impressive. From the service, to the ambiance and of course the food it's just five star all the way!! Honestly everything we tasted was delicious! I particularly loved the shellfish platter, the baked potato with caviar, the pastrami, the latke, truffle chicken and the crème brûlée! Can't go wrong with anything you choose and therefore I'll be back very soon!

We were so surprised and impressed by the service, quality, value, and execution of food. Alberto was our main waiter who was supported by additional staff who were friendly and attentive- simply professional and hospitable. We tried the ham croquettes, melted cheese with chorizo, and fried calamari for starters; and the tomahawk, rib eye, and picana steaks as our mains. The croquettes were so delicious with two dipping sauces- the green herbal one was a perfect pairing. The melted cheese was excellent, prepared and presented in a cast iron skillet with crisp edges. The fried calamari was delightful as well with large fresh pieces and accompanied by fried zucchini chips amidst the calamari. The stars of the show were the meats that were prepared just the way we wanted and like. Each person in our group ranked the meats in different order but we loved the taste with the sides- sweet potato fries, regular fries, grilled corn, and the salt and sauces. The meal was better than expected and just what we needed. We left very happy, very satisfied, and very grateful for the experience. Thanks to Alberto and team!

To start, I was trying to eat at Tapelia and when we asked to be seated we were put in Ole Ole…read morerestaurant which was confusing but we went with it as we didn't want to sit outside. A short recap of the restaurant is the food is not worth the wait at all! We placed our order of drinks, appetizers and main dishes at 2:57. The restaurant was at maybe 60-70% capacity. Our drinks came relatively fast. When we noticed our patrons next to us had already almost finished their appetizers despite being seated AFTER we placed our order we started getting annoyed that our guacamole appetizer hadn't even appeared despite it now being 3:20! When Henry, the manager, asked if we were ok, we asked where our appetizers were in a respectful way and our waitress, Adriana, came by immediately saying, "you only ordered 5 min ago" with such atrocious attitude that wouldn't even be suited for an off Highway Diner. Henry did a great job trying to lighten the experience, and our guacamole did arrive shortly after. Then at 3:45 when we hadn't seen our waitress once since the previous encounter, and our main dishes hadn't arrived we went straight for Henry and he said, "oh you're food is done, are you ready for them?" As if we had to ask versus them arriving when done. They came immediately after. Henry offered to remove one of our appetizers for the trouble but did not. Which is fine, we hadn't expected it, though it was more just annoying as he said he would. I love to tip good service, though this is a prime example of why it is not ok for 20% to be automatically included in a check. The patrons next to us had a different server and their food came out with great time and they seemed to have the experience we were hoping for when we arrived. So I would have happily tipped their server 20%, however Adriana did not deserve hers and by automatically getting it there is no way for her to be motivated to improve. Onto food, three of us ordered a salad with steak, I forget the name but the steak was so hard to cut and even harder to chew. The other in our group ordered the Chiro Burger? And there was chorizo in it, and lacked flavor per him. The guacamole was delicious as were the fries but the melted cheese with chorizo was not good. Miami has such amazing food, so I'd skip this place.

It was a bakery for many, many years, even after I left Miami Beach, when I'd come visit, I made sure to get a pastelito de carne with an orange juice and then one day; the bakery was gone and Pane e Vino was here in its place. As illogical as it may be, I held resentment towards Pane e Vino because of this. I'd grumble and scowl when I'd walk by until one day I saw a man making fresh pasta at the window. Yes, this piqued my interest. I then looked at the menu, and I saw a lot of wonderful variety, but mostly that their pasta is made fresh so it occurred to me that in this instance perhaps one legendary establishment can become another one in this place, and I decided I needed to give this restaurant a chance. I have some friends who join me often when I go to Miami Beach and so we ordered a bunch of dishes to share. I'm really glad we had our waitress Pilar steer us in the right direction. I love truffle anything and she highly recommended the truffle arancini. I'm soooo glad we got it, and that was probably one of my favorite things to eat ever. I have never had such creamy polenta in my life. the truffle and cheese in this was enough to almost bring me to tears. This is how great food is done. Even the salad and the simple dressing was amazing, really fresh and delicious. We tried three different pasta dishes, but my favorite without a doubt was the lamb ragu. This dish was everything. The lamb was so tender and flavorful. You know that lamb will sometimes have a gamey flavor? Not this dish. My second favorite pasta dish was the truffle ravioli. It's not like a truffle infused oil or salt they used, its actual shaved truffle, so delicious. The bread, the good quality olive oil, everything was fantastic. Even though my beloved bakery belongs to the past; in its place is now another magnificent establishment that I will look forward to visiting whenever I'm in Miami Beach.

It's a great spot for groups, casual dinners, or anyone looking to enjoy classic Cuban comfort food. Overall, a really solid Cuban meal with bold flavors and generous portions. I'd come back to try more of their traditional dishes and cocktails.
