My fiancé and I went here to peruse their custom invitation selection for our wedding. Although their prints were adorable, the service was atrocious. We sat down at one of their consultation tables, browsed through a couple of their sample books, found something that suited our tastes, and then glanced around for an available associate. We saw someone stocking a shelf nearby so my fiancé approached them and then they meandered off to ask a more seasoned associate to assist us. She was helping another customer at the moment, picking out some kind of paper, but nodded and smiled in our direction, delivering recognition to the both of us that she'd be with us shortly. So, we sat there patiently, browsed through the books again, and every now and then peered over to see if she was going to wrap up her sale anytime soon. She rang up her customer, although there was staff already at the register, and then proceeded to assist another person with some kind of box. Still waiting, pretty peeved at this point, we looked around to see if there was anyone else not preoccupied that could help us with our invitations. No one. The associate who was suppose to help us then rang up the box lady, signed off the register, and wandered off toward the front of the store. I don't understand what was so pressing there that needed to be addressed immediately while two customers, seeking custom prints, guaranteeing their shop more profit then boxes and paper, waited anxiously. Finally, fed up after 20 minutes, my fiancé and I walked out. As we did, all sorts of staff popped up and profusely apologized, even the associate who was supposed to help us. We politely left the shop, even though the both of us were beyond frustrated. We even feel that because the customers being served before us were white that the associate chose to help them first before us, probably assuming that due to our ethnicities we were bound to waste their time. read more
