If you like raw bacon on your pizza this is the place to be! Manager said this is what they have and that's it. Sorry but I prefer not to get food poisoning.

Flew into NY but after cancelled flights and delays, wanted to get out of the city ASAP. After 14 hours of travel, I was hangry and tired and just needed to eat something. Should have stayed in the city. Bottom was crisp but in a burnt way, sauce wasn't anything special. Greasy. Definitely needs more flavor and more cheese. Not satisfied, but it was edible.

Can I rate below one star? Horrible pizza. Ordered a bacon chicken ranch. It came with no ranch and hardly any cheese. This is the worst pizza I ever had. Never again.oh and did I mention 0 flavor?

The pizza is neither good or cheap. The sauce is very weak and cheese is bit salty, or maybe it's the other way around? It is also limp and at $2 a slice, overpriced. This is the type of pizza you would find at a high school or middle school. There are no other pizza by the slice options in the area, so they receive a lot of business through default. Do not make the mistake of coming here through choice. Only by necessity...

The most delicious pizza in our small town of Teaneck. Great customer service. Wonderful management. The friendliest shop owner/manager, and handsome too!

Pizza is ok. Timing is terrible. Quoted 20 minutes to pick up. It has now been nearly an hour. Still standing here waiting.

Pizza Knight is absolutely crushing it for bringing "Detroit-style" Pizza here to North Jersey! In…read morea state where there is a pizzeria on almost every block, although a New-York slice is legendary --- it is America, and I do need a bit of diversity with my pie, and this was a welcome change. Called in to make an order, and the owner say it was a busy day, so my pie would be reading in 45-minutes, instead of 25-30. I assumed if people are willing to frequent there, I'll join the queue. I ordered the Drunken Peps Detroit Style Pizza, which had "mozzarella cheese, two types of pepperoni (original sliced/cup & char), homemade vodka sauce, and freshly grated pecorino romano cheese." First off, the pie is huge --- completely worth the $26.96 I paid for it. Secondly, the photos don't do it justice --- it is steaming hot upon pick-up, and that very generous layer of sauce on the top was *chef's kiss*. Although the crust may appear very dark i the photos, it was actually perfect --- and provided that nice *crunch* and *crackle* that those crunchy cheesy edges provide. If you're in the area and looking for some pizza -variety- then I totally recommend this place. Pizza Knight for the win!

We went with the Drunken Peps (mozzarella cheese, two types of pepperoni (original sliced/cup & char), homemade vodka sauce, and freshly grated pecorino Romano cheese). It was a bit too much sauce for me, especially since the sauce was meh. The actual pizza itself was also more like a focaccia rather than Detroit-Style. The edges were also too crispy for me - almost burnt. Not sure I'd try another pie but glad I got to cross this one off my list. I just hope this pie is not indicative of what my 2026 is going to look like.

Grumpy's Sourdough Pizza Co. 522 Saddle River Rd…read more Saddle Brook, NJ 07663 Hot Honey Heaven Grumpy's Triple Threat Multiple people have reached out to me and suggested I explore this locally owned pizzeria located in the heart of Saddle Brook. As I entered the parlor, it is a hole in the wall with minimal seating and no AC unit. Regardless that it wasn't fancy, I still had a very gut instinct the quality of their pies was going to be on the money. When I arrived a weekday afternoon to place my order, the cashier informed me there will be a 40 minute wait. For the fact that the wait is this long indicates there are in demand and their pizza is top quality. I also saw framed plaques along their table counter showing they received positive media recognition from The Record, northjersey.com, and bestofnj.com. Hot Honey Heaven: I was initially skeptical about the appearance of this pie because it looks kind of messy. However, I took a single bite and was immediately hooked. This pie was topped with pepperoni, crispy chicken, and ricotta cheese. Mike's Hot Honey was generously poured over the top. It has a combination of sweet and spiciness. I never anticipated honey would enhance the flavor of the pie; I wish I requested an extra cup! Grumpy's Triple Threat: Named after the restaurant, this pie is prepared with pesto, grandma sauce, and pink tomato sauce. The sprinkled parmigiano reggiano added a nice touch. I especially liked the artistic appearance. The three colors were visually appealing, especially with the swirls of pesto. All pies are prepared with their signature sourdough pizza crust. Each slice had a perfect undercarriage and a firm crunch. Customers have the option to bake the pies may light, medium, or well-done. I chose medium because a majority of the customer base prefers this style. As a bonus, Grumpy's offer complimentary crust upgrades. I opted to add garlic butter brush; the outer crust edge was literally brushed with hot, garlic-infused butter. While it is common to throw away the top portion of the pizza, the upgrade is definitely an incentive to eat the crust. San Marzano tomatoes are the primary ingredient for the sauce. It's not overly sweet and has a light tang. This pizzeria is geared for take out, but there are plenty of benches only minutes away at Saddle River County Park. You can enjoy your pie while admiring the beautiful scenery of the park. The parking lot has limited spaces, but you can easily find a spot on the street. Grumpy's may be a hole in the wall, but the pizza was outstanding. I'm really exuberant that I had a pristine experience exploring sourdough crust for the first time! I was far from "grumpy" after dining here! #grumpys #grumpyssourdoughpizzaco #grumpystriplethreat #hothoneyheaven

A heads-up if you're driving: parking can be a little difficult. There's a sign pointing to parking in the rear, but the lot is pretty small. You may be better off parking on a side street and walking over. I went just before the lunch hour, and the line was already out the door. They were also getting plenty of phone calls, so they definitely seem to have a busy business going. As for the pizza, the taste was good overall. The dough was a little tough and seemed possibly overdone, and the type of cheese they use made the pizza feel a bit greasy. That said, I'd be willing to try it again. Next time, I might skip the personal pie and try a different size or style to see if that makes a difference. Staff were very kind!!!! * I didn't see any slices on display, but people were ordering by the slice.

The crust is thin with a sesame sprinkled crust and it was so good that I even ate every single bite of it, which is unusual for me. The oxtail was so flavorful and rich with the cheeses (mozzerella, Parmesan and goat cheese), meat, hot honey and spinach. The ladies asked if I wanted cilantro on top, which was the perfect add of even more flavor. They were so sweet and welcoming. Parking in downtown Englewood can be tough but I took the side street behind the row of stores and found the back entrance to Wahizza. I'm not sure if that's allowed but it made the pizza pick up a very quick and convenient experience. I plan on eating in next time bc the inside was so cute and looked very comfortable. Most of the staff was very friendly and welcoming, especially the manager. We arrived about two hours before closing and asked if we could sit at the bar to watch the next soccer match after the hostess told us there were no available tables. What was confusing was that the same tables that were empty when we arrived remained empty the entire time and were still vacant when we left as the restaurant closed. Overall, the food and most of the staff were enjoyable, but the experience at the front of the house could definitely be improved.

Ordered a special in which we got a mushroom pizza, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings and a 2 liter soda. They were out of the sodas so we got a few cans of soda instead. We ordered to go and ate at home, though they have plenty of tables inside. Overall the food was good and definitely enjoyed the smorgasbord of food we just got. Pizza had fresh mushrooms which I appreciated and lots of cheese. I could use more sauce though as we like our pizzas saucy. Mozz and chicken wings were good, but we should have eaten them right away as you expect those to cool down quickly. I'd want to try a burger next time, so I'll be back.

So I definitely had sticker shock once they told me the cost. But the place looked cool with mob vibes, a big screen TV playing Latin hits and a picture gallery filled with past accomplishments. Finally the food came. The sandwich size was pretty big but the grilled chicken was burnt. It overpowered any sauce taste. So it totally lost all its hype. I was hoping the other side was different but it was not. The fries were good and the portion size was generous too. I'm not sure if I want to return to give the other sandwiches a shot or the pizzas since they looked good.
