Aulani is a magical resort in the middle of paradise and this mickey shaped shave ice does not disappoint. Not only is it extremely pretty but it's super fluffy and delicious. The syrups are not overly sweet and you can get all different flavours. My favourites are the tropical combos of guava and pineapple. The staff are top notch and even replaced a shave ice for one of the kiddos I saw who knocked their mickey ears right off as soon as they received it. The Eha special comes with 3 flavors of your choice, ice cream at the base of the bowl, & drenched in condensed milk. DELICIOUS. DELICOUS. DELICIOUS & refreshing bowl of diabetes... sugar overload but it was worth it. Now, if you're asking if I got special treatment since I have rainbow flavors on my photos... you just have to ask them for it. The only thing I disliked was that they don't give you spoons, they give you wooden popsicle sticks to eat it. The wooden sticks were really difficult to eat with. It also melts fast, so eat fast! It also might not be the best treat for children because it's quite big. I highly recommend splitting it with 2-3 people! The Mickey ear shaved ice was super cute but was as a shaved ice lover, this just didn't make the cut. Got this to enjoy pool side and paid extra for the mickey ears. I didn't even finish half and this was with my uncle trying to shovel ice into his mouth before it became a pool of syrup. The shaved ice flavors were ok but the actual ice was so crunchy. The ice cream at the bottom was also kind of strange. I didn't think it was worth the money for the actual taste, but I had to get it for the picture and it made a great iconic Aulani photo.
