It's been many many years since we ordered any pizzas from Papa Murphy's... the wife decided that it would be easy to just cook one of their pizzas at home. I made the drive to their store, walked in and ordered a large original pepperoni. While waiting it because obvious that three ladies were making up order's...then people started showing up to take their order. I was shocked at the number of online orders being put together. I just hadn't thought about online ordering their pizzas. They have a well oiled process...those ladies had a smooth running system. Next time I think we will be ordering online too. At 3:30 PM I ordered 2 pizzas online for pick up at 5 pm. At 3:33 pm, I received an email confirmation stating our order would be ready at 5. My husband got off work at 5, drove over to the Silverdale location, arrived at 5:15 and went inside to check if our order was ready. One pizza was done and an employee stated the other would be done in 10-15 minutes. Since it was crowded in the lobby, he waited in his truck for 15 minutes. He went back in and asked about the pizzas and they told him they had given them away to a different customer. WHAT!!? Now it is 5:30 PM and he has no pizzas. He was again asked to wait another 10-15 minutes for the order. I called the store and asked to speak with the manager. The manager refused to come to the phone to handle an upset customer and required his/her employee to handle my phone call. I indicated that I would call back to speak with the manager at a better time since they were so busy and asked for the manager's first name. The employee refused to give it to me stating that he could not provide personal information. Ummm, a first name when you manage a store is not personal information, it is professional when asked in the course of doing business, and I stated this to the employee, and he again refused to give me a name. I told him this was ridiculous, and hung up. I am disgusted with their lack of professionalism and service, and haven't heard back from the store owner yet. Truth is we will not be going back to this store unless we receive a call from them apologizing for the horrendous service and employing a cowardly manager that doesn't know what he/she/they is doing or how to provide appropriate customer service. Since these are franchises, corporate won't do anything, so Papa Murphys has lost regular customers due to this terrible experience. read more

A few weeks ago I picked up a pizza and when I got home noticed that they had not put any cheese on it! Luckily I noticed before baking and had a bag of shredded mozzarella cheese in my refrigerator. We went back in yesterday to give them another try and showed them the photo of the pizza with no cheese and all we got was a "oh wow there is no cheese" and a "we will put cheese on this pizza" No apology, no offer of a discount and no offer of extra cheese in fact we got our pizza and it was skimpy on the cheese and toppings! I had to add more cheese when I got home. What happened to Papa Murphy's they use to be very generous on toppings and cheese! Not sure we are going back, customer service was bad and it seems to be kids working there and never any adult or manager. read more

Service specifically today was excellent. They greeted me as I walked in the door, as I don't mind waiting seeing that they were making pizzas for another order, as well as one of the guys was in training. Unfortunately last time I came here I didn't get the correct crust that I had asked for but didn't realize it until after I had baked it. But I'm not always a complainer, I wasn't supposed to be having a thin crust anyways, I need to stick to my gluten-free haha. After finding out that I need to keep gluten out of my diet I was very happy to hear they have a gluten-free crust available, apparently only in the medium but I'm not complaining they at least have it The place was fairly clean the workers seemed relax enough seeing as it wasn't even busy in there. ( not so relaxed that they weren't doing their job, but not so overworked that they looked stressed doing their job) Anyways I did hear the printer print out a bunch of what I assumed to be online orders. I really love the cinnamon pizza. I have been to this location three times. Are usually get the bacon bacon pizza. I think they need to either dip the onions and vinegar or store them differently because at least twice I've gotten sick from the onions. I hate that when you look over the counter you can see that a lot of the toppings are mixed in with other toppings. There's nothing wrong with the location, the floor area is clean. I don't know why I go there and spend a lot of money on a pizza I have to go home and cook myself. I think I really just go there for the cinnamon pizza and I should just start buying just that. What's the point of coupon promotions if you aren't going to honor them? Bought a coupon set as a fundraiser from my friend's son...one with a clearly stated free pizza. This is my second time in thinking this. The girls have their hair pulled back but the guy with fairly long hair should probably wear a net. At least tuck hair behind ears. Fairly slow service. Nothing beats a freshly made pizza. That's what you'll get here. I just love this place. Their prices are so affordable, and their interior is always well lit and clean. And, it's fun to look at the menu board and drool about what you're going to order. I find it even more fun to watch them actually make my pizza. Cheap thrills. The pizza's not bad, but it's not great. It is definitely filling, the sauces are good, but the crust is dry. You can choose your toppings (they are fresh and on display similar to Subway) or go with one of Papa Murphy's creations. I like how you can watch them put your pizza together. Overall, there are better options in the area, but this is worth a try. read more

Mmmm... this place is good. Never thought a pizza ordered out and baked at home would taste this good. Been through this Papa Murphy's a few times and I'm a huge fan of having so many options for your pizza. Their pizzas won't disappoint and there "must try" pizza has to be the Chicago Style*. Two slices of that and you're good. The ingredients are clean, you can customize your pizza, and it's delicious. Although some pizzas can get expensive, it really depends on what you're looking for. Best to come here if you're looking to feed two or more. *tried NY pizza in upstate & NYC and Chicago style pizza in Chicago. I prefer Chicago style. It's so-oo good. read more

I have always enjoyed Papa Murphy's pizza and have thought it to be worth the money. Tonight my boyfriend and I called in an order for a large cheese pizza, 2 liter soda, and an order of the s'mores dessert pizza. Upon arriving to pick up the order the manager said they had none of the dessert pizzas left but that they could cook one up in a matter of ten minutes (the woman on the phone did not mention they had none and said our order would take 15 minutes, why couldn't they prepare one in that amount of time?) and we got the last cinnamon wheel instead of waiting. There were also no cold 2 liters and only warm dark sodas. We opted for a cold 20 oz Sierra Mist because neither of us wanted warm dark soda. We cooked the pizza and unfortunately the crust did not rise (we did not get thin crust). The crust tasted stale and all-in-all it was an awful experience. Will not be returning. read more

Since our favorite pizza place went out of business, this has become our new regular pizza place for my family. It's okay. Not great, but it's pizza. (I seem to recall a wise person once telling me, "There's no such thing as bad pizza.") I mean, they put the raw ingredients together for you on a pizza crust and wrap it in celophane for you to take home and bake it yourself. Basically, it saves you the prep-work of chopping up the toppings or rolling out the dough yourself. read more

I am gluten free. Recently Papa Murphy's started making gluten free pizzas. I tried the veggie GF pizza. It was SO good. I haven't enjoyed pizza for 2 years, since I became GF. Highly recommend it!! read more
