I hate olives, yet somehow I still liked that pizza! The toppings were well balanced, thoroughly cooked cheese, a good amount of sauce, and a decent bake on the dough. The spaghetti was the definition of average though. Almost no sauce so I can't say how it tasted because thankfully I had pasta sauce at home. The meatballs were fine but nothing to sing about. I wanted to get pepperoni but hearing the put toppings on already cooked cheese pizza.. not worth the price for subpar way to get pepperoni slices. There isn't enough time for the pepperoni to cook and yield it's flavor to the slices. Two cheese slices 5.49. Two topping slices 9.89. Almost double the price. Make that make sense. My spouse decided on the calzone because at least it was made fresh. It was pretty large and filled out the plate. Calzones were 10.99. The flavors and food was not that good to justify the prices. I get that it is a chain restaurant but the slices were what I would expect from a local gas station or grocery store. They definitely weren't nyc style in terms of flavor and uneven thick cheese. We've ordered pizza several times here, and their pizza consistently has large bubble areas of no cheese. They must be skipping out on the cheese to save money. Little Caesar's $6 pizza is far better. - Pricing: Each Papa Johns runs their own deals, and this one is consistently the most expensive by far.
