Always fun to bake your own pizza, just do not want the mess of having to make it. Called ahead to order for our Christmas Eve brunch with the family. Only downside was the packed parking lot is n the strip center with all the last minute shoppers. Staff was very friendly and actually did not make the salad ahead of my arrival so it would be freshly made. Had a great chat while waiting with another customer. This location was amazing but now it's horrible. Order a deep dish and they put it a deep dish pan but regular crust. Also asked how I wanted my Pizza a million times. We tried ordering off their website and had issues so we called the Kyle location to see why their online coupon wasn't being applied to the order when it was well over the minimum requirement. The worker said that all discounts do not apply to special orders like dairy free cheese or gluten free pizza, when asked why that was she said those ingredients were just to expensive to discount. We order D.F. cheese pizza and G.F. pizza all the time from other locations and Discounts always apply, the pizza might be higher in cost but we don't get Robbed of a discount. My fiance and I just moved to the area from New Jersey a couple weeks ago and have never tried Papa Murphy's before today. We stopped by for a free sample slice of pizza for a promotion Papa Murphy's was having. They had a tent outside their store with multiple pizza flavors to try and a fun wheel to spin to win free prizes. We won a gift certificate for a free smores pizza to pick up and bring home. The chicken artichoke pizza that I tried was delicious! Perfectly seasoned and the ingredients tasted fresh. The staff was very friendly and informative. They told us they have an app we can download for valuable coupons and we can place our orders online. I'll definitely be back to order soon :) and I love that the location is easy to get to right by the grocery store. read more

Service is hit or miss, yet friendly every time. This last time Sir Tokes-a-Lot forgot to take my coupon when ringing me out. "Uhhhhh, oh. Sorry about that." I fought this place tooth and nail... Why would I go into a restaurant and pay for something that I have to take home and cook? I'm still not sold on "Take and Bake" Pizza. Especially since there's 4 other pizza places that will bring it to my door. Well... someone brought it to a party we hosted. I've got to say...they've got some decent pizza. The ingredients are fresh, they've got some good specialty pizzas that the other places don't have (Chicken/Bacon/Artichoke and Chicago-style Stuffed), the crust is allright... and it's a good deal for 7-10 bucks. Of course.. if I'm driving home and want to pick up a pizza, I'll either call Fox's Pizza Den or drop by the Little Cesars in Buda... but I won't throw a Papa Murphy's Pizza out on a cold night. This is the best idea I've seen in a long time. At first I thought Papa Murphy's was a stupid idea (why would I buy from them when I can just buy a frozen pizza for half the price?), but then I tried their pizza...we ordered the Cowboy specialty pizza with diced tomatoes instead of olives, and cooked it to PERFECTION--crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside (my favorite pizza crust). This was a completely different pizza experience than I am used to. It was so flavorful and delicious that I couldn't help from overeating. The best thing of all was the price. They usually have amazing specials every week that pizza chains (even local) just can't beat. Our family loves Papa Murphy's, well except one, my daughter. It's not that she does not like it, she just prefers Fox's. Murphy's Pizza is really good and they provide $1 and $2 off coupons all the time plus you get your Pizza Card Stamped for each pizza purchased and get one free after 10 purchased pizzas. Having this place close to HEB is really ideal, after shopping, we just pick up a pizza for dinner. The best part is NO TAX and usually the price for 1 large is below $10 and some specialties are on special pricing too. This has to be the best fresh home bake pizza I have ever had. Even the frozen pizza does not stack up to Papa Murphy's Take and Bake. Used to like this location but my recent experience with them sucked. Went to pickup already purchased pizzas and the lady at the register said that they didn't have our order with my name or I must have ordered it at a wrong location. She never looked up my information or double checked. I left the store thinking my order didn't go through at all. I left and had to come back with my order number to convince them I bought a pizza there. On top of that I saw my pizza sitting on a rack behind them with my name right on it. Had the chance to try two of their pizzas. Meat deLite and the Gourmet Vegetarian. I was impressed with the amount of meat on it; 3 kinds, pepperoni, sausage and ground beef, while other places might skimp on it, I don't feel like they did. Aside from that, it felt like nothing special. The crust was also super thin, not my kind preference but free pizza is free. The Gourmet Vegetarian was a knockout. I think what made it great is the sauce, Creamy Garlic Sauce, 7 kinds of vegetables on it, all seem to jive together. If I ever go back, I'll be picking this guy up. This is a great store. The concept is a little hard to get used to, but once you get used to bringing it home to bake, you are golden. This store is a generally good, but I have to agree with the comments about the teenagers. They seem to be unsupervised and sometime seem more interested in talking to each other (or other friends hanging out) than the customers.
