Papa Johns Pizza - The Works pizza - Pizza Near Me - Waipahu, Hawaii

Ordered a heart shaped pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and olives. Delivery was on time, but it was delivered with all the toppings except pepperoni. Had to drive to the papa John's to remake the order as they do not have their phones hooked up or something. Called the number, pressed 5 to talk to the manager and it does not ring. After about 5 minutes, it hangs up on its own. Came back to the papa John's and they tell me they don't have anymore heart shaped pizzas so instead they gave me a large pizza instead. And instead of giving both pizzas for compensation for having to drive down there, they threw away the incorrect heart shaped pizza. Probably will not be ordering pizza from papa John's anytime soon read more

Papa John's.... Where do I start??? When you first came to Hawaii, you were good and you were cheap. A medium 3 topping pizza was around $12-$13 if I remember. And it was delicious! No delivery fee bs. Drivers were tipped generously. Fast forward to today.... The same medium 3 topping pizza costs over $30! AND WHAT IS A DELIVERY FEE??? On top of that, we're asked to tip the driver??? THAT'S NOT WHAT THE DELIVERY FEE IS ABOUT?? To top it off, it seems that the recipe for the crust changed. For $30+, I got a flat, cardboard-ish crust that tasted bland.... The 2 stars are for the courteous driver who delivered my order. Not the pizza. If you're going to spend $30 on a medium pizza, I would recommend Big Kahuna's outside of the airport. They don't have delivery service, but their pizzas are far better. I think this is the last time I'll be ordering from Papa John's unless they revert to the old recipe and ditch the delivery fee. read more

Papa Johns Pizza - A competitor's pizza; far better deal and quality than Papa John's. - Pizza Near Me - Waipahu, Hawaii

I don't usually go to Papa John's, but they had a special, and the Waipahu location had 4 stars, so I tried them out. I ordered a large 3 topping pizza, but the pizza barely had any cheese, and the toppings were almost non-existent. I don't know how they had 4 stars, but I will never go there again. read more

This location has consistently given me grief over their specials. Occasionally, I give their location a chance, only to be disappointed over and over again. You're better off ordering from another location nearby. The last time I stepped into their store, their supervisor hassled me over a couple dollars. You'd think they'd be better at treating customers better. The last thing I want to experience is being disrespected by young men. read more

Pizza sucks. 1 out of 2 practically thin crust. Hard and inedible. Always asks to keep sauces separate cause they melt, unseal & spill. Asked to get a call, no call. This time I paid cash and the door dash guy didn't even have change! This is the 3rd or 4th time IN A ROW this happened. Tried calling. Nobody ever answers. Waipahu you guys are really suck now. Pizza is too gross to eat now. Going somewhere else read more

Used app to order. Easy use. It also tracks status of your order. No more lost or late orders. Excellent location. Just zip in and out from waipahu road. Plenty of parking. The sausage pizza was great. Because we had ordered half and half, and had to pay as if we ordered a full pizza, we joked and asked if we could take the full portion of topping and put it on the half. What do you know. They did. For those of you who don't know. They charge for toppings. Now if you order half n half. You get only half toppings but still get charged as if it was a full pizza. So if I ordered a full pepperoni I would get sixteen slices of pepperoni. If I asked for half pepperoni, I only get eight slices. So instead of two pieces of pepperoni on each slice, I now get FOUR! I had to drop one star for, no pepper flakes, pramesan, and garlic sauce. Still had pepperoncini. Yum! read more

Papa Johns Pizza - Front - Pizza Near Me - Waipahu, Hawaii

Jay was very helpful and professional. Although small error there was green peppers instead of mushrooms on one of my pizzas

Couldn't leave the house so I opted for delivery. I'm 3 minutes away from them and it took 1 hour 20 minutes to deliver it.

I've ordered here a few times with the same order I usually get although the pizza was a little dry, and the wings I ordered was supposed to be honey chipotle they gave me the plain one instead. However, the service was great, delivery was fast. read more

jayi is a great manager he was nice and kind respectful helping understand would definitely be back to location again

They can never get my honey Chipotle wings order right. Eighter they would give me a plain chicken wings or no sauce. Every single time !

I love Papa Johns pizza, but lately I've been getting our ordered cancelled saying that the store is closed, which is weird because online it says their open. Today, same thing, I got a call saying our order was cancelled because when the folks who filter the online orders tried to call the store, they said their voicemail says they are closed and does not ring their phones. Wish we could order from Kapolei or another Papa Johns near by, but unfortunately, I've been told that based on our address, our pizza order can only go through the Waipahu location. Makes me wonder if they're closing down their Waipahu location soon. read more

Unsure why this Papa's John location has 3 stars. But my experience has been well. Since I have downloaded the Papa John's app, ordering has been easier and able to track my order. When I pick up my orders, their staff are always friendly and offers other items from menu. My orders are always hot and fresh, too. Hope they get better reviews ahead. read more

Calling the store, rings forever and hangs up. Been doing this for 30 mins. It's unfortunate because my address doesn't allow for them to deliver when I try to order thru the app. They do however when I order over the phone which makes my dilemma ordering for delivery a big problem if no one is going to pick up the phone at the store. Their outsourcing to call centers also show as if they can't deliver to my address as they're too using the app. read more

Tried a phone order for Large Works. $31.99. I said whaaat. I said What is your specials. I can give you the large specialty works pizza for $19.99. Crazeeeee. You was going gauge me an extra $12 bucks. You guys mento. read more

I'm just pretty upset that I ordered wings and a medium pizza and it costed over 70 dollars and the wings were missing. The guy I talked to seemed nice but would not offer me a new order of wings. I was in the shower when the driver left my food on the washing machine. I looked at the cameras and I went out 2 min after they left. They said because they dropped off a complete order they will not be reimbursing me or replacing my wings. The manager I spoke to also insisted that the driver would not eat my wings, which sounds about right because it is 16 wings but my camera shows no one touching the wings till I went out and grabbed them 2 min later. They were saying it's probably someone at my house who ate it but no one was up at that time and they aren't on camera taking it. read more

This is a review for their delivery service. KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS!!! I urge you all to double check your bank statement if you paid with a card. Delivery driver decided to give himself an extra 0.74 tip. That is straight up THEFT! Called for them to make it right with a manager, her excuse... oh it was a mistake. My total ($16.74) plus tip ($3.26) would have came out to an even $20. How do you mistake an even $4 from what I wrote? I caught it while looking through my statement I noticed the extra 74 cents when I remember clearly I made it an even $20. Especially during this stay at home requirement because of covi-19, we rely on delivery drivers. Y'ALL JUST BROKE THAT TRUST... I understand it's just 74 cents but imagine if driver tipped himself from all of his customers that day.. let's say 50 customers... that's an extra $50 he stole from loyal customers. Since I paid with card I expected it to go back onto my card but manager said that the driver would be the one to have to give me my refund...WHAT? Okay, as a manager do you really think that's the proper way to handle this?? So wrong from the driver down to the management. I am in the process of disputing this with my bank. My family wilnever be ordering from this location again. read more

so I did research. according to Peta2.com, you can veganize. The sauce and original hand-tossed dough are vegan, so go ahead and order your veggie pizza as usual--but without cheese! Do your thing with Papa John's wide variety of veggie toppings. BONUS: Order extras of the garlic dipping sauce (totally vegan!) or get BBQ sauce on your pizza! read more

This has got to be the worst pizza ever. The crust was thinner than the cardboard box it was in. Overcooked. I paid for extra cheese and barely got any at all. The middle inside of all the pieces didn't have any cheese. The half with pepperoni was decent but the side with the sausage was ridiculous. I could have taken saltines rubbed on spaghetti sauce on with sliced cheese and it would have tasted better. Covid or not, no excuse for this lack of quality and care. Never again.... read more

How can you go wrong when you need to get your carb fix for some decent pizza with some change left over? They are always consistant and friendly. After moving back to Hawaii and having Costco RIGHT THERE, we've kind of moved away from Papa Johns. On occasion though, we order up a couple pies from here. This location is tight next to the Shell gas station across the park. The staff here is always on it. Every time I have ordered a pizza from here, my order was fresh, awesomely made and most importantly, CORRECT. I think if the price was more competitive to Costcos we would probably chose Papa's over the other pizza joints. read more

If I could give this a no star review I would. I get it sometimes in the food and retail industry good help is hard to find. When I placed the order if they didn't have enough workers they should have called me and told me they couldn't fulfill my order. I placed an online order called the location regarding a question about my order. I get a call at 9:15 saying "I'm sorry your order will be a little late but we're on the way. Two hours from the time I placed my order I received my food. The food wasn't even room temperature it was absolutely cold. Not to mention burnt. The manager said the most she could do was give me $10 off since I used an online coupon. The driver told me the reasoning was because too many people quit recently. Geee I wonder why..... read more

Overall, I ordered online, same day delivery, before the store was open and the pizza was delivered right on time. It was tasted, but nothing AMAZING, so I'm gonna say it was a Very pricey pizza! Delivered $34...although 25% of proceeds benefited my daughter's school, so I considered it a fundraiser. I am a bit confused as to the $4 delivery fee and then tipping on top of the fee. I'll ha e to look into this. read more

I make an order online and never received a confirmation email. About 30 minutes after making the order I call the store and they just tell me too bad for my credit card being charged. I called back a few minutes later and ask to speak to a manager but it takes 20 minutes for anyone to come back to the phone! I was almost at the store driving from my house by the time they answer. Then I get into the store and they give me some story about my papa points I used will be credited to my account and my card will be refunded. I ordered a pizza, breadsticks, and a drink. It took an hour for the delivery. The delivery guy only had the pizza. He said he'd be right back with the breadsticks.
