Ordered a heart shaped pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and olives. Delivery was on time, but it was delivered with all the toppings except pepperoni. Had to drive to the papa John's to remake the order as they do not have their phones hooked up or something. Called the number, pressed 5 to talk to the manager and it does not ring. After about 5 minutes, it hangs up on its own. Came back to the papa John's and they tell me they don't have anymore heart shaped pizzas so instead they gave me a large pizza instead. And instead of giving both pizzas for compensation for having to drive down there, they threw away the incorrect heart shaped pizza. Probably will not be ordering pizza from papa John's anytime soon read more

Papa John's.... Where do I start??? When you first came to Hawaii, you were good and you were cheap. A medium 3 topping pizza was around $12-$13 if I remember. And it was delicious! No delivery fee bs. Drivers were tipped generously. Fast forward to today.... The same medium 3 topping pizza costs over $30! AND WHAT IS A DELIVERY FEE??? On top of that, we're asked to tip the driver??? THAT'S NOT WHAT THE DELIVERY FEE IS ABOUT?? To top it off, it seems that the recipe for the crust changed. For $30+, I got a flat, cardboard-ish crust that tasted bland.... The 2 stars are for the courteous driver who delivered my order. Not the pizza. If you're going to spend $30 on a medium pizza, I would recommend Big Kahuna's outside of the airport. They don't have delivery service, but their pizzas are far better. I think this is the last time I'll be ordering from Papa John's unless they revert to the old recipe and ditch the delivery fee. read more

Used app to order. Easy use. It also tracks status of your order. No more lost or late orders. Excellent location. Just zip in and out from waipahu road. Plenty of parking. The sausage pizza was great. Because we had ordered half and half, and had to pay as if we ordered a full pizza, we joked and asked if we could take the full portion of topping and put it on the half. What do you know. They did. For those of you who don't know. They charge for toppings. Now if you order half n half. You get only half toppings but still get charged as if it was a full pizza. So if I ordered a full pepperoni I would get sixteen slices of pepperoni. If I asked for half pepperoni, I only get eight slices. So instead of two pieces of pepperoni on each slice, I now get FOUR! I had to drop one star for, no pepper flakes, pramesan, and garlic sauce. Still had pepperoncini. Yum! read more

I love Papa Johns pizza, but lately I've been getting our ordered cancelled saying that the store is closed, which is weird because online it says their open. Today, same thing, I got a call saying our order was cancelled because when the folks who filter the online orders tried to call the store, they said their voicemail says they are closed and does not ring their phones. Wish we could order from Kapolei or another Papa Johns near by, but unfortunately, I've been told that based on our address, our pizza order can only go through the Waipahu location. Unsure why this Papa's John location has 3 stars. But my experience has been well. Since I have downloaded the Papa John's app, ordering has been easier and able to track my order. When I pick up my orders, their staff are always friendly and offers other items from menu. My orders are always hot and fresh, too. Hope they get better reviews ahead. read more

It's unfortunate because my address doesn't allow for them to deliver when I try to order thru the app. They do however when I order over the phone which makes my dilemma ordering for delivery a big problem if no one is going to pick up the phone at the store. I'm just pretty upset that I ordered wings and a medium pizza and it costed over 70 dollars and the wings were missing. The guy I talked to seemed nice but would not offer me a new order of wings. I was in the shower when the driver left my food on the washing machine. I looked at the cameras and I went out 2 min after they left. They said because they dropped off a complete order they will not be reimbursing me or replacing my wings. The manager I spoke to also insisted that the driver would not eat my wings, which sounds about right because it is 16 wings but my camera shows no one touching the wings till I went out and grabbed them 2 min later. This is a review for their delivery service. KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS!!! I urge you all to double check your bank statement if you paid with a card. Delivery driver decided to give himself an extra 0.74 tip. That is straight up THEFT! Called for them to make it right with a manager, her excuse... oh it was a mistake. My total ($16.74) plus tip ($3.26) would have came out to an even $20. How do you mistake an even $4 from what I wrote? I caught it while looking through my statement I noticed the extra 74 cents when I remember clearly I made it an even $20. Especially during this stay at home requirement because of covi-19, we rely on delivery drivers. Y'ALL JUST BROKE THAT TRUST... I understand it's just 74 cents but imagine if driver tipped himself from all of his customers that day.. let's say 50 customers... that's an extra $50 he stole from loyal customers. After moving back to Hawaii and having Costco RIGHT THERE, we've kind of moved away from Papa Johns. On occasion though, we order up a couple pies from here. This location is tight next to the Shell gas station across the park. The staff here is always on it. Every time I have ordered a pizza from here, my order was fresh, awesomely made and most importantly, CORRECT. I think if the price was more competitive to Costcos we would probably chose Papa's over the other pizza joints. read more

When I placed the order if they didn't have enough workers they should have called me and told me they couldn't fulfill my order. I placed an online order called the location regarding a question about my order. I get a call at 9:15 saying "I'm sorry your order will be a little late but we're on the way. Two hours from the time I placed my order I received my food. The food wasn't even room temperature it was absolutely cold. Not to mention burnt.
