food that garlic butter sauce, omgosh, that garlic butter sauce, omgosh. the gb sauce is the feature i identify most readily from eating from the restaurant as a kid, along with having it at birthday parties, inclucling most memorably at the rentable oilers hockey ice skating rink. also, while deciding which kind of pizza to get for moms, lil bro, and our house guest, i remembered papa johns sausage pizza having the best taste of any franchise pizza joints i've tried. nonetheless, the guest had a taste for pepperoni on that night, so we chose that, as well as a half mushroom, chicken, and alfredo triple threat pizza, and half mushroom and alfredo dynamic duo pizza. and lastly, i'd almost forgot about the peppercini, a mildly spicy 1, 2 combo in box with garlic butt sauce that pairs good with a slice of pep, as in pic below, though dolo also. service ready as soon as i arrived with momma; promptness did not significantly affect attempt at all star shaq jabawockee dance into restaurant to hold the door and help mom get the pizza securely into the car. i will practice and come back with preparation . ambiance no offense, but restaurant building is giving trap pizza joint; in fairness, its location by the primary city university does not help that. the "better ingredients. better pizza." boxes are quality insurance still though. read more

Look at that beauty! The ZESTY ITALIAN TRIO PIZZA! Where have you been? We hadn't had PaPa John's pizza for quite a while. You know, you're tired, just want pizza and don't want to think or argue--pepperoni, artichokes, BBQ, sausage, vege, Greek, etc. "Just order one and I'll pick it up". Okay! I know what I don't want -- I feel the toppings on their "deals" are rather skimpy. Trouble with choosing from their "specialty " pizzas is I want them all. "A slice of each please." Then I saw the Zesty Italian Trio. New to me, providing a tasty solution. Look at those toppings -- the quintessential pepperoni, zesty Italian sausage, and salami. Plus tangy banana peppers to cut through the fat, a three-cheese blend, and mozzarella on original fresh dough (love their crust) Then sprinkled with Italian seasoning, of course. Arrived hot, satisfying. BTW, their garlic butter dip is still included. As is the little green pepperoncini. Makes me want one RIGHT NOW. The pizza, not the pepperoni. Both pies were hot and fresh. The cheese pizza could have had less crust. The wings were not tossed in the sauce like they show on the app. They were not crispy. They were soft like they were cooked in a microwave. I thought it warranted a review so you know what to expect. read more

My hubby and I partook of the special, two mediums for $14.00. He had a pepperoni with extra cheese square cut and I had a Canadian bacon and pineapple. They were both warm and fresh. We picked up at this location. We each had the garlic butter. There was adequate cheese and medium sauce on mine. The pineapple was sweet and the Canadian bacon quite tasty. I'm a doordasher. The employees here are pretty good. There customer service is just pretty good. They joke around to much. When I went in to ask for more ranch that my customer requested, the employees started complaining about the customer should have put it on the order. Well I'll tell ya, I can't give em more ranch. The Customers preferences we're on the order for the employees at the restaurant making their food. So I have plenty of issues with Papa John's if it wasn't for my nephew or dogs loving it I wouldn't waste a dime on it about twice a week but they've been messing up so much that even want to bother first off I'd like to say is they should start drug testing the people that are going behind the wheel and delivering the pizza, so I ordered a few weeks ago been afraid to order ever since.. upon receiving my pizza I get told as I'm reaching for pizza and things I get told "yeah yeah I know I am annoying you as the delivery guy is sweating balls rolling his eyes talking in third party my dog has never try to reach out to anyone but he knew something was off about this person and definitely wanted to charge at him and he was in his right I've called and I complained it's like management don't care at all most are so HOOD OR GHETTO they catch an attitude like you putting them to work, it's Tulsa for crying out loud why would they care ? It's midnight and your baby is asleep and you suddenly need pizza. Not a frozen lean cuisine, but a real life pizza. You'd be a crazy person to wake up your baby to travel to pick up late-night takeout. So, you open your Yelp app and search 'delivery pizza' and call. Quick. 40 minutes later, PJ called and said they had arrived (I'm really happy they remembered to do this and not ring the doorbell.) However, the driver made me walk to his car to grab the pizza and use his lights from the car to sign. Pizza was a solid 3 stars. PJ's garlic dipping sauce gets me in trouble every time (in both a good and bad way.) read more

I love papa johns. As a student of TU, pizza is a very important part of my diet. And this is where most students get their pizzas. Why? It tastes great and it costs about $6.50 for a medium pizza with the TU student discount (man I'm gunna miss that when I graduate). And its only about 20 yards from campus. The building is a carry out/delivery only place. As in, no tables or chairs to eat there. I have to go there a lot, as I normally don't have cash on hand and instead just use my debit card, which means i have to drive or walk there, which isn't really a big deal. Also, now you can order online and have it ready at any time you want. And you can pay online with your debit card and have them deliver! Its amazing. read more

After not reminding me that I ordered a 2 liter, not putting pepperoni on my pizza and not cutting my cookie, then the manager CJ lying about getting all three free the next time I ordered AND last, not being able to transfer my order to a closer location so it can be delivered, I have made great consideration in not using Papa Johns for awhile... When I arrived, both doors were locked and it took the employee a sec to notice me and walk over to unlock the door. It was only 9:30. I had ordered online and paid online, and came to pick it up. I handed the cashier a five dollar bill and asked for two ranches and two garlic sauces. He typed around on the register for several minutes and then told me he had canceled the entire payment while adding those. He said I'd have to give them my card again, but my payment was already processed and I also didn't bring my card with me. I didn't assume I'd need it, as I'd already paid. He apologized and said I'd have to go home and get my card. I asked why he wouldn't have just done a second translation, just a separate transaction, I had cash anyway. Why even attempt to edit my order when I had cash there? On my way out, the doors were locked once again and after I pushed on them several times, they let me out. Pizza quality was not great either. One of our garlic sauces was thin like the consistency of water, and the other was like a thick paste. I assume the ladder was expired, I don't know. This place wasn't as good as Mazzio's right down the street. read more

Horrible. Just got home at 12:00am from seeing my dying grandmother in the hospital and I was tired of eating hospital food for 6 days, i really wanted some pizza. This is the worst, most frustrating Papa Johns location I have ever dealt with. We order online from this location maybe once every 2 or 3 months. I am not exaggerating when I say there has been a problem every time, the last four times we've ordered. We do not place big orders or make any special requests - I'm talking about basic orders like a two topping pizza with a dessert item. We've been delivered someone else's order, we've ordered a pepperoni pizza and been given another topping entirely, once they forgot our 2 liter, we order a cinnapie and been delivered a brownie - waited on the phone forever to learn they don't have any cinnamon! And this is just my memory of the last four orders! I order online so I don't have to deal with my phone yet twice driver's have called me asking for basic directions (we are less than a mile away in a regular house, not even a large, complicated apartment complex). And I tip five bucks for this in advance on my credit card? Get a GPS or a paper map. Look on Google Maps before leaving the store. I feel sorry for the TU students that have to order from this location. Every time I say "NEVER AGAIN!" but my family loves pizza so every couple months I give it a shot again. And I think that SURELY a mistake can't happen again but here we are, fourth time in a row and I am sadly mistaken. Absolutely awful. read more
