The quality of the food was very good and bodacious. Pricing was in line with quality and quantity. One of my pet peeves is tip schedules for fast food where speed of delivery and special services are not necessary. JJS needs to eliminate that aspect from my perspective. The steak sandwich picture is way different than what you get. That sandwich was soggy. It was wet. The meat was fatty, and it wasn't enough meat didn't even see the cheese. The bread was wet and soggy, and fell apart. It was probably the worst sandwich that I've ever seen Jimmy John's prepare or sell I would reevaluate how that sandwich is done and look at your picture. Jimmy John's bread just hits different, ya know? Something about the flavor is just so good... I don't know what it is about it, or what specifically the flavor is but it's so yummy. Not to mention the texture of the bread is perfect too since it's firm but not too tough to bite into either. I like to get the beach sub because I love that it has avocado on it, plus the meat on that one is turkey, which I prefer to other lunch/ sandwich meats. The avocado on there is more the consistency of guacamole, but just minus the extra veggies that come in guac (like tomatoes, onions, etc). I think it works well to have the avocado more mashed in the sandwich so it doesn't slide around as much. Nice thinking! I don't come to Jimmy John's often, but I always feel like everything from the turkey to to the cucumber and everything else actually tastes nice and fresh. Their brand of chips isn't my favorite, but I'm glad that they have my favorite flavor (jalapeno) as an option if you get a combo. I think they also have salt and vinegar chips which is usually my second choice, as well as bbq, but other than that I think those are the only chip choices. Workers at this location were very friendly and all wearing masks. They had a good energy and were very quick in making the sandwiches... I think I was eating mine within about 2 minutes or less from when I ordered (to be fair, there wasn't really anyone else there, but still)! Certain tables were marked off not to be used because of social distancing. I think this is so critical for seat yourself places like this, so well done. All around a good stop for a sandwich. PS: just as I was finishing writing this review, I took another sip of my lemonade and saw "freaky fresh, freaky fast" on the cup. Jimmy Johns location at 1931 S. Yale is the worst store I have ever been in. Went in a couple of weeks ago, stood at the register for 20 minutes and not one person even said "Hi, will be with you in a moment", nothing but ignoring us so we walked out. We back today, lady in front of us got waited on, then my co-worker got waited on and then nothing. I stood there for 15 minutes and again, not a word to me so I just went and sit down as my co-worker was eating. Lady came in while I was standing there and ask if i had been waited on, told her no and had been 15 minutes and they are standing right there and they can hear you, so she walked out. After sitting down for about 10 minutes one of the guys ask if this was my sandwich, which i said I didn't order because no one would wait on me and once again, not a Oh I am sorry........NOTHING! Another 5 minutes goes by and two guys walk in and immediately they rush over to take their order. This location is a joke and not sure who owns it, but maybe they should show up at lunch time or anytime to see how their store is run. I order food from there a lot for Corporate meetings, and no more. I will never call them again or go in that store. Pretty sad, because their sandwiches are pretty good. read more

I eat at this place all the time. At least once a week. They know my car as I pull up (I haven't decided if that is a good thing or not.) The staff is friendly and every time I have ordered delivery the order has been correct. They are only getting four stars because I still find myself checking the bag to make sure that everything I ordered is in the bag. Love jimmy johns but I live 1.23 mi away and they won't deliver. At that point, you're not a delivery place.

So after my last pleasant experience I had no hesitation trying them again, I even ordered from this location instead of the one closer to me because I like the service I got the last time. My food was delivered to the wrong address (previse location) even though I told the order taker on the phone the correct one. When my food did arrive a full hour after I ordered it wasn't wright. The bread was not what I ordered, and they forgot my chips and drink. The driver did apologize and said he'd be right back with a drink and a free cookie. The manager also apologized when I called to check the states of my drink and chips. 45min later a warm drink, chips and cookie arrived. Total wait time 1hr and 50 min. Hardly freaky fast! read more

I only gave four stars and not five because Jimmy nor John were present in the building to make my sandwich. I rolled up in there to get the ultimate, most authentic and spot on original sub and walked away with a (pretty awesome)meat and lettuce replica made by some Sam who was busting his butt behind the counter to feed his family. And damn it Sam, you forgot my pickle. It's ok. I'll be back to settle up. As for Jimmy and John..if you wanna run a business, get your asses back in the kitchen or pay these guys making your sandwiches a little more. Don't know why this store is always getting my order wrong. This has been happening since they opened. Same order every time and four out of five times they get it wrong. Tonight I specifically ask them if they had cut my sandwich in half like I ordered. The window guy turned around and ask the guy if he did, and was told yes. Of course it was not.
