We really really really wanted pizza for dinner on Wednesday night (the night before Thanksgiving). So we began calling around and much to my surprise most of the pizza places in our area closed at 7:30-7:45. Thankfully Papa Johns was open. I got the pizza, chicken wings and Jalapeno poppers ordered. There was a little mixup on the address the person logged when I called in but get this...the delivery driver was able to locate us. Pizza dough was overworked so tough like beef jerky. Skimpy "extra" sauce and cheese (less than regular portion is supposed to be). The cinnamon bread was burnt on the bottom but still doughy in the center. The delivery driver was prompt and polite.​ read more

Papa John's already messed up our last order, but they promised to make it right with their so-called "quality guarantee." We were told to call back the next time we wanted pizza, let the manager know, and we'd get our corrected order (two medium pepperoni pizzas) free of charge. Sounds simple, right? Think again. We called on April 25 at 2:56 PM to cash in on that promise. The manager on duty was completely unhelpful. She said she'd put the order in, but it would have to go through DoorDash because their drivers don't show up until 4 PM. She even admitted DoorDash probably wouldn't accept it because it was a $0 order. She gave us the option to call back at 4 to have one of their drivers deliver it instead. Frustrating, but fine--I said go ahead and try DoorDash, and I'd tip in cash. Fast forward to 3:37 PM, I called to check if DoorDash had picked it up (since there's no way to track it), and surprise: they hadn't. The manager again just offered to wait until 4 PM and send a driver. At that point, I was done. I told her to cancel the order and hung up. We ended up ordering from somewhere else--and guess what? That place got it right the first time. This whole thing was supposed to be a "make-good" for their previous failure, but somehow it turned into another disaster. We placed an online order to this location today. Delivery was quick until we realised it was the complete wrong order, so we called and asked for the correct order. It got to our house within 30 minutes. Everything looked and smelled fresh, which it was, but, again, it was the complete wrong order, so we called again. The crew here is great. I've seen so much progress with them since the new gm started there. Food gets out fast, hot, and accurate.

This was my first trip to the store, and my first taste ever of a Papa John's pizza. First, the store. This was nothing short of mass chaos. I counted 12 people. I understand that there were new people there, but there was just a lot of noise. My order was wrong, and I waited for another one. Mistakes happen. I understand that, but expected some offer of maybe a soda for some compensation. I had to ask for that. The manager there was very nice and was doing the best he could. However, I was disappointed in the store. As far as the pizza, I would give it a D. There was almost no sauce at all. I got the three topping special, and the toppings were very difficult to find. Very disappointing. That will be my first and last visit to the store and also for Papa John's. read more

The Pizza is usually very good however tonight was not a very good experience.the order taker did not understand simple English, and had a thick Indian accent. They were not familiar with Papa John's menu, and could not get my order right because of it. We placed an order for carry out. Then Called the store location (ROY) to change to delivery, it was to have arrived 30-40 mins. I then called after almost 1.5 hrs to find out what the issue was. The lady then told me it was never changed to dlvry. I asked for the supervisor a lady came on and she said she was the mngr yeah whatever.. Apologized and began to tell me the pizza was there & I could go pick it up or cancel. I wanted to get the card refunded & they never confirmed they returned it to the card.. Between all the attempts, calls, being put on hold, hung up on, employees not providing their names I asked to speak to the manager & the lady said HE is busy & I would have to wait aaahh like 15 mins. I told her I will hold but I asked for her name & she then told me she wouldn't be giving me her info.. okay then what is the store managers name & click she hung up on me. Seriously disgusted. Ordered my kids a pizza and breadsticks. The ever present pepperoncini had a bite mark in it. Like, you could see tooth indentations. So gross. I called to complain, but the manager was unable to come to the phone. Threw the pizza out because that little chomped on pepper was probably rolling all around that box. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Literally found a chunk of wood in my pizza last night (I bit into it). So disgusting! I called and they literally did nothing, no I'm sorry no let us make it up to you, nothing. Just a "oh ok I'll tell my main manager". Pathetic, really. No customer service at all. Awful....I ordered a very simple BBQ pizza. I specifically asked for LIGHT BBQ sauce. They completely didn't follow directions, they added a whole ton of BBQ sauce, and added PINEAPPLES. Pineapples are fine for me on pizza, but on a bbq pizza when I did not even ask for them isn't okay. read more

Last time I ordered here I had really bad customer service I called back to complain to no advail I just called today to make an order and as soon as they got my credit card number they didn't even say thanks or have a great day and hung up on me. I'm a server and have great customer service skills and would have like a minute of there time to just say thanks and maybe repeat my order. I know people have bad days but in my opinion keep that at home and know your trying to sell your product and endorse it with a nice comment. Or at least to try and say I hope to see ya again. 2016_12_08. The bad reputation is starting to spread. While not busy I was treated by Hanna (name on ticket) like she had little patience to spend time with the customer. Don't let Lara W.'s review mislead you. She gave Roy Papa John's review a 5 but meant if for Pizza Runner or it would be a 1 also. I paid $11.89 for a specialty Italian pizza. When I got home it was doughy, you could see bread and nothing but tomato paste showing and very little Italian sausage. I have been going to Domino's even though it is twice as far. I will continue to do so. I will also call the store after this and let them know how I feel. They should change their receipts from, "Better Ingredients, Better Pizza"; to "Pizza Sold Here". read more

I've ordered somewhere around 50 pizzas from here over the last decade or so. Always good. While I prefer to make my own pizza, I enjoy Papa Johns out of all the chains. This location has always been good to me. The cheese sauce has a slight kick and is great with breadsticks. The honey Chipotle wings are stellar. read more

Papa John's to the rescue!! *insert super hero music here* Bom Bom Bom Bom!! We had a family get together planned and ordered $200 worth of pizza from a place who I shall not name, but rhymes with Pizza Dummer. Well, I called about the time it was supposed to be delivered and was told, "Um, sorry...the cook didn't show up today." This after I called and placed the order three day previous and called to confirm the day before. After a bit of frustration and maybe a potty word or two, I called pizza runner and explained the situation. I needed 6 XL pizzas, 3 orders of cheesy bread, and 3 orders of breadsticks STAT!! The gal I talked to was SO great! She took the order, said she'd put a rush on it and get it to me within 45 minutes. The guy that delivered the deliciousness was amazing, I gave him the address to the house instead of the clubhouse, and he figured it out. I don't normally complain because I know how it can be working in customer service, but I can only give these guys so many chances. This will be the 3rd time that "they tried to deliver" our pizza and they "tried calling us". Seriously our doorbell is very loud and the dogs would go crazy if the heard anyone at the door and most definitely no phone call! So when I called to find out where my pizza was and they told the same thing they always tell me, I asked to speak to a manager. She said that the best thing they could do for me was remake my pizza, give me half off of bread sticks, and put a rush on my order. I was originally told with my first order that it would take 20-30 minutes and now she is telling me that "priority delivery" would get me my pizza in 40 to 45 minutes.
