The highlights: - Decent little salad bar here, good selection of toppings and "stuff" to make that salad a little more fun. 2 - Fresh pasta bar. Probably my favorite item here. Pick your pasta type, they fresh cook it, add your choice of 5 or 6 sauces. 3 - The pizza is decent and there are always 5 to 6 different savory styles and a couple of dessert pizzas. They turn out a LOT of pizzas so it is usually pretty fresh.

We found our table, but we saw a couple that was eyeing a dirty table. They asked an employee that had been chatting with a couple at a table for at least the 5 min that we were there. The employee, who was bothered by the question, told them "Sorry, I'm on break". And let them figure out what to do next while he continued chatting and cussing with his friends at the other table. The couple sat at the dirty table and waited another 5 min before another employee came to take the plates they were not even theirs. That's when they asked this employee to finally get the table clean. The other employee continued to chat and cuss with his friends for a total of at least 30 min since we arrived. I decided to talk to someone about it. Asked a hard working employee if there was a manager. He said yes, but I decided to just talk to him instead. Told him the situation, he replied,"well, he is on break, so he is not obligated to help anyone, but I will go talk to him and have him sit down." What business is OK with their employees wearing company branding and refusing to help customers? Even if they are on break. They should either stay out of sight if they don't want to work, or cover the branding so that customers don't think that they are working.

The Realest Family-Owned Spot in Davis County - Circle Inn Pizzeria!!!…read more If you're looking for a true local, family-owned business that's been a pillar in Davis County for decades--go to The Circle Inn Pizzeria. I've known this family for over 25 years, back when holiday gatherings were held at the circle in Sunset, Utah. (If you know, you know--especially if you ever wondered where to park or were a little nervous to!) This isn't just a pizza spot. It's a place where the food is cared for, made with heart, and served to the local community that watched this family grow up--and vice versa. From Clearfield to Sunset, and really all of Davis County, the Circle Inn name has always meant something. I was literally there when the current owner was brought home from the hospital as a baby--and now he's running the place with the same strong spirit the family has always had. His stepdad ran the iconic local "dive bar" everyone knew--even if they said they hated it, they still went! And that fire? Devastating. But they rebuilt. They came back stronger. That alone shows the heart of this family and what this business means to the community. This place deserves every bit of recognition as Utah's 2025 Family-Owned Local Business of the Year--hands down. If anyone disagrees, I'd ask: 1. How long have you lived in Utah? 2. How big of a radius have you actually lived in for the last 30, 40, 50 years? Because if you've stayed close to this area, you know what The Circle Inn means. I've been through a lot in life--20 years in the Air Force, a deployment to Iraq, and recently, one of the hardest personal struggles I've faced--but this place has always been a little symbol of home, community, and resilience. Go support this OG local family spot. They've been supporting the community for decades. They've earned every bit of love and loyalty they get.
