Took one of my children there for their birthday. iI wobt again. i bought the sampler--lasagna, ravioli, chicken aldredo. The lasagna was flat (no heigth. it the noodles were so overcooked that it was like eating mush. The sauce tasted like barely warmed cheap store bought canned sauce. You couldn't even see or tast cheddar on top--or inside. the raviolas weee at least al dente and were passable except same quality of sauce The chicken alfredo had no flavor. the chicken was rubbery. Garlic bread was not included--the bread with little packets of butter. at those prices it would seem the salad greens could have been sometging besides iceberg. the best part was the great ice water. Ligoris is as far from true Italian food as Uranus is from earth. Caned sauce caned mushrooms confirmed by the manager and a severe lack of true Italian flavors. The garlic bread is lackluster at best being a store bought hogie roll toped with garlic salt dried parsley and hopefully real butter untrusted and soggy. The sauce tastes like hunts brand tomato sauce bought from the smiths across Harrison boulevard. The crust however is the only bright star in this pathetic excuse for Italian food completely over come by the lack of true flavor from Italy. I don't suspect their customers even know what Italian food is supposed to taste like. If I could give 0 stars it still wouldn't be an adequate rating. The amount of toppings given and the crust, recipe probably stolen from the internet are the only reason this place deserves a visit. read more

Mmmmmm..... green olive and mushroom is a combo I didn't know I needed but I am here.for.it! All of it! Crust is perfectly crispy, not too hard not too soft, just thin enough but still supportive of toppings without bending. I have heard this place has amazing salads. My wife gets these brought in to her work and always says great things but, only about the salads. I ordered a Philly Cheese and my kids shared a Chicken Alfredo. Not a lot of flavor for those two items. I'm told the Alfredo was thick which made it hard to eat. The bread and salads were great though. The lady at the pickup window was a big ball of sunshine too (super sarcastic). I won't be back but again, the salads were good. read more

Great sandwiches! Went here for a women's group get-together and had really good service and really good food. I had a pastrami sandwich and it was spot on. The bread was what made the sandwich - It was fresh and toasted, and had all of those European attributes that I love. Everyone at the table, about ten of us, really enjoyed our food. Some of the ladies had personal pizzas and they looked amazing. Not one person complained about the service or the food. I'd go here again. read more

I'm so sorry to have to give a bad review. Stopped in for lunch with a friend. Wasn't very crowded at 11:15, the time we had our lunch. I had the spaghetti and my friend had the ravioli. Our lunch was served on paper plates with plastic fork/knife. Are you kidding me?! I can understand if it was pizza but not for the meal we ordered. Price for food was very reasonable. But a big but.... My spaghetti was barely warm and my friend said her ravioli tasted like frozen pasta that someone added a can of tomato sauce to. Unfortunately, it will be awhile before we come back. Going to try some other Italian places in area. read more

horrible. the food was disgusting, it tasted like pre packaged food, I got the lasagna, salad and garlic bread, the lasagna tasted like pre packaged stoffurs lasagna, the garlic bread was stale and you couldn't taste the garlic, and the salad was okay, I mean it's just lettuce and croutons, the ranch and drink was good but overall they sucked, WILL NOT be going back. Disclaimer: I've only tried one dish - the fettuccini alfredo - and because it is so amazing, I've yet to try another dish! Simply stated, I've had this dish all over the world, including Italy, but none better that what I've had at Ligori's. Plus, you get a "real" tasty roll with your dish - not some measly bread stick. Service is excellent, too. Food is also served in a very timely manner. Someday, I'll try other food there as I'm sure it is also awesome. For now, their fettuccini alfredo is world class. read more

Their BBQ chicken pizza is tangy and yummy, if you like that kind of thing, and oh boy do I. Their delivery is fast every time. But they drop your appetizers off your order, only give one salad instead of the two you ordered, and present their take out food like it's trash bin leftovers. Ligori's pizza and pasta is a mom and pop type Italian restaurant right off of Harrison Boulevard in Ogden. It's got a great mom and pop type atmosphere, but I find that their food isn't too different from what you can make at home. I do like the recipe they have for things like their meatballs and whatever kind of bread they have, but I feel like I'm not getting the value for the money I'm paying for, especially with the little add ons from the menu. But either way, the food is tasty and it will fill you up a good amount as it's not made of cardboard or sawdust. I would raise the ratings for this review if they got a little more specialized with the quality of their food, but for now it will sit at 3. Also, I need to try more of their items to really have a good grasp on it. But please, if you're hungry don't skim over this one! read more

Strange is the word I would use. The food was very average and not very authentic. This is a sit down restaurant with a bizarre feel. The lighting is strange and the chairs seem leftover from a convention center. The decorations are old and bring nothing. The food is served on paper plates to help give you an authentic cafeteria feel. I kept thinking Gordon Ramsey was going to come out of the kitchen any second and stop everything. My chef salad was iceberg lettuce from a bag, some olives, cheese, green peppers and a few slices of pepperoni. No croutons or anything of substance. The pizza was okay and the pasta was average. I love Ligori's. When I'm craving pizza, it's Ligori's I want. I was born and raised in Ogden and Ligori's is what I grew up eating, so there you go. I'm a little biased, sure. But there's just something about that fluffy, doughy crust and delicious cheese combination and mild but tasty sauce that is out of this world. As a kid, I loved their spaghetti with all my tiny heart. As an adult, I think it's kind of gross. Their marina sauce is a little weird. It has an odd spice combination or something. Their meatballs make up for it though - holy yum, Batman! They get your food out to you pretty fast unless it's a crazy busy day. Prices are exceptional - comparable to major pizza chains where you're paying for grease with a bit of bread under it. The decor in the new location is kind of weird and lame, I'm not going to lie. They could use some serious help in the interior decorating department. The old location had some awesome murals of Italy on the walls, so maybe they are just waiting to find a painter or designer to make new Ligori's as kitchsy and cool as the old one. My grandma has been a Ligori's fan since the day it opened. My 4 year old son asks for Ligori's pizza over any other. As for me, I will be a faithful Ligori's fan until the day I die. It's probably a good thing I live an hour away, otherwise I'd be snarfing their pizza at least twice a week. read more

Ligoris is consistent and serves quality food. The environment is what you'd expect for a very inexpensive Ma and Pa restaurant. Don't knock them for not being super high class, it's family run and feels a little like an old school truck stop (in a good way). We've been getting the meatball sandwich for 25 years and it's perfect every time. Enough food for two! Their full chef salad rocks and it will serve multiple people. This is quite possibly one of the worst places to eat in Ogden. The food is bland, canned mushrooms were served on my pepperoni pizza. The salad was nothing more than chopped iceberg lettuce. I would not recommend this establishment unless you enjoy boring processed food. read more

Went here with the family for an early dinner. My husband got the meatball sub, I got the New York style pizza, and my daughter got the tortellini. We also got a garlic cheese bread to share. The meatball sandwich was very good and on quality bread. Some said the meatballs reminded them of the Costco ones and I could definitely see that. The New York style pizza was NOTHING what I was expecting so I was disappointed with it. However if I wouldn't known it comes with a tiny sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and that's the only cheese I wouldn't have gotten it... for what it was though it was good. I try not to leave bad reviews, but this place is was just not good. If we had paid less I might not have been so bothered with it. I've made better pasta out of a box & a jar at home. I am a long time customer of Ligori's and enjoy their pizza. Prior to going to Ligori's, I was a regular at Tony's which is where Ted Ligori used to work at. Their pizza is just like the Tony's pizza I grew up eating. I often eat at Ligori's getting the combination pizza, spaghetti or rigatoni, and garlic bread. They are a small mom and pop restaurant and it is always fun to eat there. Ted Ligori is a very nice person and even offered to pay for all the food costs when we went to their restaurant after a funeral. The funeral was for a loyal customer and I was surprised that Ted did this and asked us to give a good tip to the waitresses who served us. He also offered to allow us to use his restaurant for a 100 year old's birthday party on a day they are normally closed. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this joint. Quite delicious lunch specials and pizza. The crust wasn't to crunchy, but was just enough. The pasta my coworkers ordered didn't seem very authentic, so I'd venture to say pizza is the only thing you should get here save your common side salad.
