We went here for a large softball tournament dinner when we were in from Las Vegas. I was very impressed by how the staff handled such a large group. We took up the entire back room and only gave them about an hour notice. The staff were very nice and accommodating to allow us all to pay for our own families. The pizza was delicious, I only wish I had more time to relax to order something of a specialty. I will definitely want to go back to try out their other food. Typically clean environment. Love the fish tank. Food was good as always... Pizza with kinda thick crust, fair amount of toppings, tasty sauce. Small dinner salads are full of ham, cheese, mushrooms. Service was adequate, but not very friendly. I get it that a party of 6 with 2 of them being kids is more work than smaller parties. But we were all nice and polite, and not demanding, albeit a tad confusing and disorganized, but, oh, well. Maybe one smile during the interaction and we'd all probably had a better time. This knocks it down a star. The other star being docked is value. Party of six -- three 12 inch pizzas, some small dinner salads, a couple cheese breads, three soft drinks, one pasta entree. The bill was $129. Going out for pizza used to be something of an economical choice when feeding a group. Not-so in this case. I have never had such amazing service with such kindness, sweet sincerity, made me laugh at the right times, and just all-around fun girls that give me great dining experiences every time I come in. That is until lately, whoever made the decision to limit Gabby's access to the Dining room, made a huge mistake, because there is a lingering darkness that looms with her absence. Went with friends who rave about this pizza place and I don't know why. It's definitely popular but it's co a get in eat and get out as quick as you can . No ambience at all. Service was ok but not exceptional. The food was not great. My pizza crust didn't have much flavor, neither did the sauce. Our friends recommended to get extra sauce as the pizza is usually so dry. Meh! I ordered a side salad which was only a handful of chopped iceberg lettuce. That was it. No other veggies or croutons or nothing. Honestly don't know what the big deal is. I was so excited to try this place and seeing how many people were in the lobby, I was expecting some really good food! We had to park in the golden coral parking lot next door because there was no parking available at the restaurant. No problem. We made a reservation on a Friday night for 5:00 and were seated by 5:30. We ordered 2 pizzas to split, and small dinner salads. I was happy with how quick the drinks came and that they could split the pizzas in half so that we could try more pizza flavors. Once our order was taken, we didn't get our food until 6:20. We had a reservation in Syracuse to get to at 6:30 and had to cancel our next reservation so that we could eat our food. The pizza was okay. The fiesta lime pizza had no lime on it whatsoever so that was disappointing, but the bbq chicken pizza was good, as well as the Hawaiian pizza we had ordered. The service was a little poor. Our drinks were never refilled and we had piles of dishes on the side that were never taken. This place has pretty good reviews, so maybe we hit it on a bad night. read more

Pizzas are perfect with any selection you make. Over the years I've tried most. A salad is recommend with the pizza. Service is courteous and efficient. I personally didn't like how they don't tell you how the food is in the food description.. they tell you the ingredients instead, for example, for the California Club, the description just says chicken, bacon, ranch. Let's talk pizza! This was my first time at Ogden Pizzeria. It was delicious! All of their food looked so good. All the different salads, breadsticks, & pizza! Salads are shareable & large in portion size. Every "family" could essentially share one large salad. I had my own small vegetarian pizza that fed me for a good 3 meals. Loved the fresh veggies on the pizza. The cheese pizza was the most cheesy, cheese loaded pizza I've ever seen! They accommodated a large group for us on a Saturday night. Absolutely no flavor. The noodles were stuck together. I'm so glad it was only $10 because it was nasty. The cheesy bread was good. My kids loved it. And the pizza our friends ordered was good and looked amazing. We will come back if in town again and try the pizza but stay away from the pasta. This is probably the worst pizza I have had in Ogden.....combined with bad service. We arrived on Saturday night and had to wait several minutes for the hostess to even acknowledge we were waiting in line to be seated. The person in front of us was picking up a pizza that they evidently had not made yet but I would have expected some acknowledgment that we were there...we were seated and ordered a coke with lemon and a Diet Coke...both came with lemon and I'm 95% confident that the server gave both of us coke when I specifically ordered diet. When I asked him to make sure he gave me diet, he looked offended. He obliged but it took 10 minutes when I could see the machine from where I was sitting and he didn't even head that direction for several minutes.. I don't like lemon in my Diet Coke but I tolerate it. I'm pretty sure he took the order, put lemon in both and forgot which was which. (I don't do well with high sugar drinks and it hit me hard) Then we ordered a meat lovers pizza (9 inch) and a vegetarian pizza (12 inch) and 2 salads. After 40 minutes, our pizzas showed up but we had not received our salads. When we asked the server he had the "oh crap" look on his face and he said that for some reason the salads had not been entered. He should have owned up to his mistake....he wrote them down, it looks like he just failed to enter them.... My veggie pizza was probably the worst pizza I have had in Ogden. (And that includes Walmart and little sleasers...) The cheese was barely melted and when I took the first slice it bled clear liquid onto the plate. It felt like they had par baked the crust, threw on veg and then cheese and didn't fully cook it. (Probably needed 2 -3 more minutes in the oven ....assuming a 600+ degree pizza oven.). There was no browning on the cheese and I almost sent it back but given the salad and beverage issue,I wasn't going to wait another 30-40 minutes. The final issue was that I ordered the mixed spicy/mild sauce and it literally had zero spice. My friend who ordered the smaller pizza with mild sauce had spice so I think that the server (despite writing them down) entered them backwards....and now, I really do t know if I got the mixed...total fail across the board. From what I'm seeing, nothing on my order was delivered correctly. The sad thing is that the table next to us (same server) had issues as well. The server apologized to them a couple of times while we were there and that should have been a HUGE red flag. I'm not sure what he screwed up for them but they were not happy. I have always enjoyed the food at Ogden Pizzeria however this time it was a bad experience. I was sat down fast and waited a very long time so it seemed....maybe about,8 minutes. Placed my order. Received my order. My water glass was empty. Finally when the waiter was leaving another table I stopped him and asked for more water. He said absolutely. The water never came. I finished my pizza and he came with the bill. I said may I have some more water please. I finally received the water. During my visit no person came to my table to ask if everything was ok or if I needed anything else. Also the pizza was off. It didn't taste the same and definitely I couldn't tell if there was sauce on it. It may have been an off day for them however it made my visit for me not wanting to come back for a while. read more

During the covid shutdowns this place took advantage. It has been renovated inside and looks so nice!. They have amazing food. Literally everything I've tried is amazing. They have mild, medium and hot pizza sauce. Among a few other sauces like pest or Alfredo. Tons of toppings to choose from as well as some speciality pizzas. I love the cheese bread, nice crispy crust with a yummy savory with slightly salty, garlic middle that is soft. Give a nice contrast of textures and flavors all in one lovely bite. The pizza is so yummy! They have somehow managed to get just the right amount of cheese all while keeping the crust crispy! The crust for me is the perfect middle road in between thick and thin. I hate writing this review, because I want to write 4 & 5 star reviews, but not this time. Arrived for an early dinner w friend. Seated promptly, drink order taken promptly, and waitress checked back about 3 times in 7 min to see if we were ready to order. First time for both of us so it took more than a min to make a decision. Decided on tortellini (me), sharing 12" Hawaiian pizza & 12" deluxe pizza. No choice on crust thickness available - minus a star. Pizzas came out first. We spent lots of time getting the not-fully-cut pieces cut w the dull pie server provided. Minus 1/2 star. Taste was good on both pizzas; deluxe pizza onions a bit crunchy but doable. Then we tried the tortellini- awful! Tortellini overcooked & marinara was crazy bland. Minus a star for pasta. I'd love to name our server, but a) she didn't introduce herself, b) she didn't refill our drinks, and c) she didn't say good bye or ask us to close out when she ended her shift in the middle of our dinner. The hand written check didn't have her name, and neither did the receipt. Minus 1/2 star. My friend liked the pizza, & my husband liked the leftover pizza. The menus are so worn down we can barely read them. All the options are SUPER basic. So we order a pepperoni pizza, cheese bread and a dinner salad. The salad comes out. Super basic. It's eh. The cheese bread comes out and looks promising. It literally tastes like nothing. There's somehow zero flavor. No seasoning. I make much better bread at home... We ask them to bring us some of their marinara sauce, thinking we could dip it and get more flavor. They have mild, mixed and spicy. We ask for all three. It arrives and LITERALLY tastes like someone opened a can of tomato sauce and poured water into it and blends. No salt, NO Flavor at all. The pizza comes. The crust is horrible, the cheese is chewy. I got the personal pizza with mushrooms olives jalapeños and pineapples yesss pineapples belong on pizza and they are not cheap with their toppings either. this is the first time I had such big chunks of pineapple on my pizza but it actually made the bite so much better. I got the pizza on Sunday dreamed about it Monday night and I'm currently waiting for the clock to strike 11am here on Tuesday because I just gotta go back. if your just feeding yourself it's nicely priced but if you have a family to feed it can add up quick. i didn't see any family deals that's the only recommendation I have is to add a family special for those sleepy parents. read more
