We paid $51 for one large half-cheese and pepperoni pizza, a garden salad, a calzone, and two drinks. The calzone alone was $14 because it was $9.99 to start, and each topping was $1 extra, so with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, and onions, the total came out to $14! For that cost, I should have ordered another large pizza instead, but so it goes. The employee who helped us was friendly and easygoing. Since we were passing through on the way home, I appreciated that they had a small dining area with several tables for dine-in service. Overall, the pizza was underwhelming, like I noted before, but although they had good toppings and cheese, the crust lacked flavor. The garden salad seemed freshly prepared and the Italian dressing was good.

We are vegetarians, so we had the Edgy Veggie and the Garden of Eatin' on gluten free crusts. Our server kindly asked us about sauces and we had the ranch and Taboo sauce to go with them. Both were fantastic! Very different - the Edgy Veggie is a veritable garden of vegetables on a red sauce. The Garden of Eatin' was much richer with the caramelized onions and balsamic glaze lending a sweetness to offset the saltiness of the pesto sauce base and the generous cheese layer. The restaurant is spacious, with an edgy flair to the decor that doesn't feel too over the top. We actually really enjoyed the various "flying monkey" skeletons holding the lights! I really wish we lived nearby! We will be back when we are in the area again!

I am not from the area but I ordered takeout pizza a year ago based on reviews of the restaurant…read more It was pretty good. While picking up my pizza that time, I noticed that the other food options being served looked pretty good. Fast forward to today where I'm back in town and decided to revisit the restaurant but eat in. The problems started right as we walked in. When we arrived we were told that it would be a 25 minute wait. Ok, no problem, it's Friday night. What we weren't told was that we could order and THEN it was a 25 minute wait for the food to be cooked. This was confusing because we aren't locals and I had to ask for clarification. When ordering as a party of three, two wanted a beer. We were told that the orders had to be separated to sell two individual beers. Weird, but ok. I ordered a Vesuvius calzone for me, Mac and cheese with bacon for my husband and the blueberry lemon desert to take home plus one beer. Our friend ordered wings, the Vesuvius and a beer. The rest is well, just plain bad restaurant practice. This was the next 40+ minutes (after our 30 minute wait): 1-Vesuvius out for our friend. Lukewarm at best. 2-Almost 10 minutes later- barely warm Mac and cheese with pieces of cold bacon on top. The bacon was basically the thin precooked kind they sell at Costco. 3- About 10 minutes later. Lukewarm wings with barely any sauce. We share the mac and cheese for another 15 minutes while waiting for my calzone and finish it and still waited several minutes after. 4-Vesuvius #2 comes out and is not heated through- I stick my finger in the center and did not feel any significant warmth. There was only a single small meatball cut in half in the entire thing. The crust was soggy throughout from the sauce and likely from sitting and cooling behind the counter. My friend had the same issue with his. We were all hungry and collectively decided to just eat what we got because we knew it would be another hour for fresh food or they would probably just microwave what we had if we took each item back up as it came out lukewarm. If the food had been served hot it would have probably been good. Getting our food served all together would have been not only appropriate but would have made the meal a better experience instead of having to go up to the counter four times. Well make that 5 because I had to go ask for the dessert to be made - (while I saw at least four employees standing around in the kitchen area ‍ ) that dessert was the best part of the meal and the only reason for the 2nd star. Last note regarding the beer- I saw pitchers of beer being taken to patrons which confused me because I was told "we're not a bar" when we tried to order a beer each for 2 people. I did ask about this when leaving and was told that as long as there were more than one person with ID they could order a pitcher. A pitcher is double the size of 2 individual pints. Makes zero sense that one pitcher with the equivalent of at least 4 beers can be served for 2 on one ticket but 2 individual beers cannot. Worse is that the guy at the counter didn't even think to suggest ordering a pitcher as an option. The whole counter order /pick up yourself is definitely lacking for a sit down meal at a restaurant that's not fast food. Beer is the only thing served to the table by staff. It's compounded by the fact that you have to go up multiple times to get each item and listen as other food is going out to other orders in between. Not getting hot food is terrible considering it appears that the food is served as soon as it's ready. I literally thought the restaurant must have had issues with someone getting burned by food and they were intentionally not heating food up. I also don't think it is unreasonable to expect that 2 exact calzones ordered at the same time can't be prepared and served at the same time. Pros for the restaurant- it has a nice atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The portion size on the calzone was large and shareable.

Here's a draft of your bad review you can use or tweak as needed:…read more Terrible Experience -- Twice in a Row If I could give zero stars, I would. Papa John's already messed up our last order, but they promised to make it right with their so-called "quality guarantee." We were told to call back the next time we wanted pizza, let the manager know, and we'd get our corrected order (two medium pepperoni pizzas) free of charge. Sounds simple, right? Think again. We called on April 25 at 2:56 PM to cash in on that promise. The manager on duty was completely unhelpful. She said she'd put the order in, but it would have to go through DoorDash because their drivers don't show up until 4 PM. She even admitted DoorDash probably wouldn't accept it because it was a $0 order. She gave us the option to call back at 4 to have one of their drivers deliver it instead. Frustrating, but fine--I said go ahead and try DoorDash, and I'd tip in cash. Fast forward to 3:37 PM, I called to check if DoorDash had picked it up (since there's no way to track it), and surprise: they hadn't. The manager again just offered to wait until 4 PM and send a driver. At that point, I was done. I told her to cancel the order and hung up. We ended up ordering from somewhere else--and guess what? That place got it right the first time. This whole thing was supposed to be a "make-good" for their previous failure, but somehow it turned into another disaster. No accountability, no real follow-through, and no respect for the customer's time. We're officially done with this Papa John's. Don't waste your time.

If you actually are interested in spicy extreme (and you'd better be), this is the only restaurant that I have found that will do (nak mak pet mak) for you. I actually started learning Thai strictly for this restaurant so I could communicate my wants/needs better to them. And they deliver each and every single time! Both in quantity and quality. I've been working my way through their menu, but any and all of their appetizers/curries/stir-fry/salads/noodles/smoothies/beverage selection/pizza/wings/breadsticks/etc will not disappoint! Quite possibly one of the few times that I've ever said that. Yes, I have been back for their pizzas (if you want crispier, just ask for an additional 3 minutes in the oven). Smoothies are absolutely delicious but their Thai Iced Coffee really threw me for a loop. It was beyond amazing, especially considering it had been years since I've had an appropriately made flavorful iced coffee. Especially strong. As you can see I'm very extreme; (spicy and caffeinated to the hilt) and I think I'm living in Heaven when a restaurant actually produces such amazing products! Pork wontons were a recent standout along with their vegetable stir fry. TBH, I felt like I was cheating when this restaurant closed for a little over a week last month and I was left to scramble trying to find another Thai restaurant for food (I'm currently addicted to Thai food it seems). I literally have ate the food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner depending on work hours; so I greatly appreciate all that this restaurant has done for me. And BTW, the customer service is excellent! They will aim to please. Each and every single time. Beyond HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

After looking at their rating, we had to try it. We ordered the Thai Pizza , Tom Yum Kai, and Pad Thai. The server brought the condiments which included Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, Sriracha, Hoisin Sauce, and chili oil. What a combo! What a nice surprise! Who would've thought that curry and pizza would go together? Pad Thai was really good. Lots of flavor and very fresh ingredients. Tom Yum Kai has just the right amount of spice and was incredibly flavorful. You can taste the lemongrass and a hint of fish sauce. We also ordered the chicken satay. Hints of curry and the peanut sauce was one of the better ones we've had. Give this place a chance. You'll be pleasantly surprised!
