Okay pizza definitely wasn't bad for the price. I enjoyed that. But I ordered a Philly cheese steak and it turned out to be a Philly cheese flake. It was a hardened bun with cheese and steak crumbs. Okay if you're going to conserve on what you serve for monetary purposes, then overwhelm us with the veggies. But even that came up short. I will say that the delivery person was outstanding though. (Manager steals tips) I've been really troubled about something I saw here about a week ago and I decided to finally write it down. This is one of my favorite places and usually everything is good. This time I was helped by a really nice guy who was super nice, so I decided to give him a $5 tip. While I was waiting for my order, I noticed the manager, an Asian lady, give him a really angry look when she saw that. This used to be my "go to" pizza place for take out. Quality has declined significantly over the past several visits. Not sure what is going on. Food is now inconsistent in flavor and quality. It's like they are forgetting how to make their product. Our pizza crust and bread sticks at the last visit were hard, slightly gray and completely flavorless. Service is great. First of all let me just say I really do enjoy papa John's especially this location. My family and I ordered from there almost weekly. But that all changed because false advertising and the manager refused to honor a coupon that is still being sent out in weekly ads. The coups clearly states 50% off your order. Well at least at this location they refuse to honor this coupon. Was told it was print error the first time I tried and though it really bothered me I accepted it and continued with my families order. Well now these exact coupons continue to be sent out and they continue to refuse to honor them even though it's a local coupon packet and this location listed. My dad ordered pizza with the thick crust and a couple of extra garlic sauce with the pizza , we have been going to this location for years and for some reason the service and quality for us has been doing down. Not too sure if it's under new management or because of the employees not caring anymore. Me and my parents waited awhile for our pizza, not only that they got our order wrong the first time so they had to make it again so we waited even longer , we trusted that the second time around it'd be right so we took the pizza home without checking , that was our fault in trusting them they made it wrong again. We were so mad and disappointed that not only did they get our pizza wrong the second time again with the " thin crust " they forgot our extra garlic sauces that we paid for. So my dad called them asking why they made our pizza wrong the second time around & forgot our garlic sauces. The employee said " we apologize but there's nothing we can do once you take the pizza and we only give the garlic sauces for the breadsticks & etc " WHAAAT that's ridiculous we have been going here for years and bought extra garlic sauces with no problem. Now if I wasn't hungry, I would have refused the order and walked out but of course why else would I be there. The coupons received in the mail had no mention of being exclusively for online use only but somehow the information not to allow customers to use these completely valid coupons is being told to the workers. If you haven't noticed, it's mainly teenagers and young adults working here. They are underpaid and overworked. I don't blame them on busy nights. This is the human experience. Everyone wants to order in and are impatient after a long day, but Ive lived in the area now for 11 years and I've never had a truly bad experience here. Sure there are times where you get there and someone is holding up the line or it's not quite ready ( 5 min added wait or 10 if there's a crappy customer honestly ), and my family has no issue with it, because as many others fail to understand is that it's a Friday night, and everyone AND their mom has decided to order at the same time. People in this area are impatient and lack manners, if your polite and patient these guys remember and engage with you. I've ordered delivery a couple times from here with no issues, all great delivery drivers and the pizza has always been made right. This is Papa John's so it's your basic pie and generic ingredients. For expectations, it's on the mark. They make it like I order it online. Prices are higher in this area then elsewhere in Seattle and they charge a delivery fee but gas is expensive and my butt didn't have to leave my house so no complaints. The last time I ordered from them, I was on the other side of my house and faintly heard knocking when the driver arrived. He was really sweet and said he thought no one was home at first. Told him to just bang on the door so we can hear him. Really gentle soul. Be nice to people. Tip your drivers. read more

Multiple visits to Papa John's in the Renton Highlands it always seems inconsistent with service. Whenever the really nice lady with short red hair works things go well. When she's not it doesn't go so well. As for the pizza. The Meats and BBQ and Chicken are excellent house recipes. Usually there's a good promo they have like $10 large 5 topping or deep swish for $12 with 5 toppings. Now that's a great deal cause sometimes it seems seems they go light on toppings when it's not a specialty pizza. One complaint I have is whenever I'm there they never seem to refill things like their fridge (pic uploaded) or their cheese/peppers/special seasoning. When I went to redeem it Daniel the guy I spoke to said I had to buy $20 worth before I could redeem it that only at their location this was a requirement. On the card the driver gave me said nothing of the sort in only that I would have to pay for delivery. The guy argued with me. I have been ordering pizza here lately at the Renton WA location. In the past, they used to fill up the pizza with lots of meat and I thought the pizza was great. However, the last few times I ordered, I noticed that there was hardly any meat on the pizza even though it is supposed to be three meat. I found where Barnum and Bailey went during the pandemic. Complete clown show circus act in there. I walk in and there's 8 high schoolers running around with AirPods in. The one girl in there notices and says someone will help me soon. 3 minutes go by and finally the kid with the Mexican flag mask comes by and I let him know my online order, which told me my pizza was ready for pickup. After a couple minutes of looking at the pizzas ready for pickup, the girl says my pizza is still in the oven...okay, 10 minutes pass and no one calls my name. I ask again if my pizza is ready, and the girl does another check and let's me know my pizza was never put in the oven.
