Watch out for this place. Managers aren't honest and rude. They delivered the wrong pizza to my place and when I called in, i was offered free pizza for the same deal. Two weeks later, i call in for the free pizza and they started to lecture on how they can't do the same deal. When i complained and explained that I was entitled to it as was promised last time, he relented but kept lecturing me on how he was doing me a favor. I visited this Papa Johns location tonight after placing an order for pickup. We were given a wait time of 15 minutes, which we thought was great for a Saturday night. After arriving, a male employee came up to the register, swiped my card, and said it would just be a few more minutes. While waiting, I was able to see into the area where they toss the pizza crust. The male employee that had just taken my card was doing something and I noticed he didn't have any gloves on. After watching for a few moments, I was able to see that he was working with dough and I had not seen him wash his hands. A female employee approached, without gloves, and also started to toss dough. While working on that, the phone rang and she came over to the phone. I received my pizza and left, but I was bothered by the fact that neither employee wore gloves while tossing the dough. I didn't see either employee touch their clothes or hair, but I find it hard to believe their hands are so sanitized that gloves are not necessary. 2 stars because I can't get over the fact that they apparently don't require gloves for their hands-on staff! read more

The manager was really nice and understanding about an error I made in online payment. He personally gave me his name and told me that he will take care of the matter and make sure I get charged the correct payment. Reading other people's reviews, seems the manager has changed because service here is real good. Not to mention the pizzas are delicious. I had guests waiting so I picked up my order and rushed to my event. upon opening pizza boxed there was a huge sigh and loud disappointment breathing sounds..... Both Pan Pizza were completely Charcoal Like burnt 2inch from Outside Edge. I called the papa john location at Mount Prospect immediately. However sadly enough the Manager was very rude and disrespectful. He said I'm confused as Pizzas came out beautiful. Worst experience ever. If I could give a 0 star rating I would.. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza with a side of cheese breadsticks, did we get that? No. One of their Uber drivers, who I thought was the driver I was waiting for, handed out the wrong order which was a large Tomato pizza with bell peppers and jalapeño poppers and took my cash money that was supposed to cover the order we actually ordered. How was I supposed to know the Uber drive was an Uber driver when they had no sticker and said "papa Johns?" And took the money and zoomed off. they never asked for my name. We had no way of calling the Uber driver because we didn't order it through Uber. Besides this, we tried to correct it with them, their driver called us assholes, went to the place and they instead of working with us, they called the police on us because they didn't want to get their lazy asses up and fix the SIMPLE mistake but instead wanted me to pay again for another pizza.... NEVER will go back, they are rude to customers, waited 50 minutes for the wrong pizza and had the cops involved for no actual reason f*** this place. read more

I placed an online order for the special 2 XL pizzas for 14.99. I added extra cheese, but it only includes 2. I clicked the button for the deal, chose my toppings and review order for two pizzas. They deliver one pizza, I was charged almost $30 total. I was not home when delivery came, my son was. I didn't find out for hours later. I called to ask what happened, they said I must have ordered wrong. I saw Two when I reviewed the order. I asked the person on the phone if they could fix it and send me another pizza and was told no. Last time I ordered online I ordered the 2 medium pizza deal, they delivered 6 pizzas total, somehow the order went through 3 times. I was also not home for delivery, but I didn't say a word I just kept the pizzas. I order online all the time. They should have as a courtesy refund the earlier order and place the order again corrected and bring me the other pizza. Recharge it correctly. They said No, there is nothing they can do about it! It was Superbowl Sunday (2/7/16) so I knew they'd probably be busy, so I called & allowed plenty of time for them to cook & get the order right. 1 of the pizzas I ordered was their spicy Italian pizza, which has pepperoni & DOUBLE spicy sausage. As soon as I got the pizzas home & looked at them, I could tell there wasn't double anything (including my other pizzas which were ordered specifically with double cheese & other toppings). I called them to let them know about this error & the woman that answered immediately got rude & defensive. She said she specifically made my pizzas & that if I didn't like her "quality control" I shouldn't order food from there ever again. She then HUNG UP ON ME while I was trying to respond. Hey, she didn't get my pizzas right but at least she was correct about ME NEVER ORDERING FROM THERE AGAIN. There are MANY other nearby places with MUCH BETTER FOOD, INFINITELY BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE & "QUALITY CONTROL". Don't waste your money on pizza that is thrown together by rude employees that don't care about what they're doing. If you don't know the area, try Draft Picks, or Rosatis, or Tortorices, or actually ANYWHERE ELSE! This place is not worth it. I think my son upset someone there when he wrote "please draw a picture of a turtle on the pizza box" in the "special instructions for driver" field when ordering on-line (something he saw on-line). Anyway, driver was nice (he actually drew a pic of a turtle on the receipt) , food was good...until I discovered the disgusting clumps of weird hair in the pizza. Maybe we made them mad with the silly request my son made, but this was absolutely disgusting. I worked in restaurants for lots of years and I never saw anyone do anything "gross" to someone's food. I was shocked as this was not an accident...no way! I didn't bother calling because I would have been steaming and they would just have denied it :( Never ever ever ever ever ever ever going to one of their places again. Ever. In their defense, this could have been just one jerk employee, but it could also be due to a lax work ethic/irresponsible culture in general that doesn't value the customer. I've had a yelp account for 5 years now. The service from this papa johns has inspired my first review. I've ordered from and enjoyed many other papa john restaurants but this one was a huge disappointment. First, for whatever reason this location was a lot more expensive than any other papa johns I've ordered from. $45 for a large pizza and wings ($5 was tip). After I ordered I received an email that said I'd get my food in 1 1/2 hours. I called the restaurant saying I wanted to cancel because I didn't want to wait that long plus I wasn't happy about the price. They assured me I'd get my pizza in an hour or less, I reluctantly agreed. 1 hour and 45 min later my order shows up from an old nice man with broken English going on about how the order was messed up, I couldn't understand exactly what he was talking about. Anyway, upon opening my order I discover I have an order of wings and one of the worst excuses of a pizza I've seen. Not the type I ordered and looks like it had been sitting for several hours. Needless to say, very disappointing and upsetting given how expensive the order was. read more
