We've ordered from here countless times, both pickup and delivery, and the experience is more or less consistent. Papa John's is not great pizza, but it is cheap and reliable... usually. A few weeks ago, we ordered garlic knots that came with zero sauce. They were basically funky-shaped breadsticks. Our pizzas had a sauce to cheese ratio that was wildly off. It felt like the restaurant skimped on both, but the sauce was particularly light. Maybe it was just an off night, but if this level of quality becomes a trend we will have to stop patronizing this location. read more

This review is based off of carry out. The Papa Johns app is very easy to use and provides very accurate times when your pizza will be ready. When I pulled into their parking lot my order was ready. I was greeted right away asking for my last name and he handed me my order right away. The pizza and brownies were served warm and were pretty good. I find it tough to give places like Papa Johns, Dominos, and Pizza Hut 5 stars, so I would say 4 stars is pretty good for these types of pizza places. read more

I was just delivered an entirely raw pizza. After waiting for the food for two times the estimate delivery time (which I get because everyone is struggling to find workers) the pizza was delivered and it didn't look correct. The crust was barely cooked and after trying to pick up a piece - it was stuck to the bottom of the pizza box. I did a little investigating and noticed that ALL of the dough outside of the barely cooked crust was completely raw. Not just mildly undercooked, the dough looks as though it hasn't been in an oven at all. It is white and gooey. Ultimately they took dough, threw some ingredients on top and shipped it out to my house to be delivered. I called the store and when I told the notoriously rude manager that my pizza was delivered entirely raw and I wanted a refund, all she said was "refunded" before hanging up the phone. You'd think she'd give maybe half an ounce of care that she just sent out a RAW pizza. Well, the crust was burnt. Sure, I'd clicked the "well done" button hoping the veggie pizza would be less soggy than normal, but burnt seems a bit much. The burned taste somehow made it to all the bites. But, my 12 year old boy wanted pizza and we were in the neighborhood, so we popped in and ordered to go. We got the Works and as we drove home, the smell was overwhelming...mouthwatering good and delicious. We also ordered wings - buffalo style which came with 2 sauces. Papa John's used to be our favorite pizza place. We have lived all over colorado and order quite frequently. Over the last year or so they have progressively gotten worse. Last night I ordered just wings because I didn't want to go shopping and cook and it was half off because the Rockies won (that is the only time we order papa johns anymore because it's just not worth it otherwise) We get a call about an hour after we ordered from the delivery guy and he says "this is papa johns, I'm downstairs and can't see apartment numbers" forcing me to go down 4 floors (obviously apartment 410 is ON THE 4TH FLOOR) and he was just chillin in the middle of the court yard. As if that wasn't bad enough we basically had unsauced wings when we ordered buffalo....good thing we were prepared for that since it happened last time and had wing sauce in the fridge. We're done with Papa John's at this point.....the whole reason people order for delivery and pay extra to have it delivered is so they don't have to leave their home. So thanks again for the disappointment and reinstalling the fact that your customer service and your product sucks. Honestly, you can buy 4lbs of wings for $10 and they're bigger and better than this nonsense papa johns is trying to pass off. I wanted some wings so bad today ask my boyfriend to pick me up an order from the 35th and Quebec location in DENVER, CO!!! We ordered before we arrived, when he went in our order was not ready nor started! The guy taking orders went in back and placed my wings in the fryer with NO gloves on after handling cash and register!!! Since my boyfriend is so nice he asked the guy to put gloves on and ask for the store manager. Store manager came out being very rude and said his employees do not have to wear gloves nor do they have to listen to customer complaints and provided a number for us to use for customer complaints which was 877-547-7272. The rep then advised us that PJ's policy is as long as they wash their hands they don't have to wear gloves. We ordered Papa Johns two days in a row. The first day, we got three thin crust pizzas. One pizza came with the cheese plastered all over the box. No bueno. I called. I complained. They gave me a credit for two free pizzas. The next day we ordered three more pizzas (two for free, all regular crust) and they all arrived intact. However, the wait for delivery seemed very long. I don't recommend think crust from this place. It is pointless and limp. Regular crust holds up better. As far as quality goes, I get sad thinking that someone considers this to be good pizza. read more

Being an employee at this store, i can honestly say that we try our best in all aspects of the process. The pizza sometimes comes out of the oven a tad burnt, despite the temperature and speed of the oven remaining the same each and every day. I will fully admit that our customer service can be lacking, but i can assure you that most of us, especially on the inside, try to take care of you and your order the best we can. As for the phones, we are often so overwhelmed by existing orders, walk in orders, and especially by the mass internet orders, we put phones on hold sometimes because we do not have enough staff to keep the store running and answer phones at the same time. Employees are not equipped to take orders and when the order is misplaced, they don't know how to find it and won't fulfill the order despite proof of credit card charge that includes the store address and phone number. Instead of handling the issue (to err is human) by just making good on the pizzas, the employee told me to call an 888# to find out what happened to the order and hung up on me.
