Unfortunately, our experience on Saturday, July 5th was extremely disappointing. The person working that night hung up on us without resolving anything. We were delivered the wrong order--despite the employee acknowledging that the orders were mixed up--and they refused to fulfill a replacement order before closing. We had ordered jalapeño papa bites, 12-inch bacon cheese bread, buffalo wings, sauces, etc., but instead, we received two orders of brownies. When we called to address the issue, we were told it was 'not their problem' and that we should ask for a refund, even though the store was still open. We called back immediately, only to be left on hold and then hung up on again. This was incredibly frustrating, especially considering the circumstances. It's not difficult to provide better service. I hope the management addresses this behavior because it was completely unnecessary and made an already tough night worse. We're left with brownies for dinner, thanks to the lack of customer service. Do not recommend ever, just order from any other pizza place - they all do a better without even trying which clearly this store doesn't care about. Update: Still no resolution to this but we will continue to follow up. Raise your standards off the disgusting floor. read more

We've ordered a lot of pizza from this place since moving to this area. I just say the more and more we order from here, the worse it gets. Last time we ordered it tasted like cardboard and was super thing. The stuffed crust was the only good part about it. Other than that, the pizza portion was too thin and had zero flavor. Called the store, which was a waste of time as the woman didn't speak clear English, asked to be transferred to a manager, he was no better! Could zero stars be added..The bread was horribly bland they don't even a garlic butter anymore so it was also dry. As for the pizza well it's lacking now too. The sauce is really sweet and not in a good way. The cheese has no flavor and the pepperoni is just well nasty it doesn't taste like pepperoni at all. Absolutely horrible place. If you value your money and wish to receive your food and not someone else's, go elsewhere. I spent $50 on food here, and the only thing that they got correct was my soda. They mistakenly gave me a small personal sized cheese pizza instead of the $30 garden veggie with add ons we ordered, they gave us a medium half pepperoni half cheese instead of our wings, and they gave us a medium cheese and black olive pizza instead of our jalapeño bites. Nothing was edible as it was grossly overcooked, everything was disgusting, the pizza was like cardboard, and my gf almost broke a tooth on a whole olive seed that was thrown into the "black olive pizza" that we didn't order. And of course they did this right before close, so we couldn't re-order our food or get the issue resolved. We were able to get reimbursed for all but $10 of our order, so all we got was a $10 2-liter of soda. Absolute rip off of a pizza joint and seems like a petty theft shop. **WARNING** If you are NOT able to physically be present to watch them make your food, please avoid ordering from this location to protect your health! Tragic. Can I give negative stars? What we witnessed here today was extremely alarming. The employees were handling their phones, taking payment, and walking around touching everything, then tossing pizza dough with those same hands, unwashed and ungloved. Hardly anyone was wearing masks. One delivery driver exited his car, entered the building, and proceeded to handle the toppings and help make pizzas with his BARE HANDS, without sanitizing or washing them. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. My husband went in to pick up our order and was not greeted, once he gave them the name on the order they told him it would be a min as it wasn't ready, however, I had received a text message 4 mins before stating it was. Ordered 2 pizza bowls, 1 with light sauce, a pizza and cheese sticks. Get home and notice neither pizza bowl has sauce, just water and oil from the cheese and toppings, dug around in them and found what would equate to maybe be equivalent to a half teaspoon of sauce in the middle. I called about it and was told they could give me 20% off my next purchase, I asked if they could remake the bowls with sauce and was told no they will not remake then because I said they had a little sauce in them. I told her I will bring them back for them to see but I would like them remade while I was on my way. She tells me they will not remake them and then says they will remake the one that did not request light sauce once I get there. I asked how long will I have to wait for it to be remade as that was the point in ordering ahead. She went silent and then said she was confused, I told her not to worry about it as I was on my way. I took the entire order back as I felt as though the other food shouldn't have to be cold due to them inconveniencing my family. When I got there I was met by a male manager who then told me the same thing she did and told me they don't put much sauce because it breaks down in the oven and becomes watery. If I had been told that over the phone I would've accepted that answer and just known to go to Hungry Howies next time I want a pizza bowl as their sauce doesn't break down into water. At this point I wanted the food remade or refunded of which they told me they would do neither. I asked for the number to corporate and they told me they didn't have it. I then asked if they knew who owned the store and the cashier told me his uncle did. I then asked if he would call his uncle and he was about to but the managers told him he didn't need to and not to call. I then asked if I needed to call the police because I felt like I was being robbed at this point, and the male manager told me the police couldn't help me. I asked how he knew, have they had to come for this situation before? And he said very smugly that no, he was friends with the police. I then called to have an officer dispatched and sat to wait. He then stood with his arms folded waiting too. The female manager told him to go do something to which he responded "No I'm waiting for the police". She told him to go I believe in an effort to try to diffuse the situation. I ultimately called and canceled the police call as I was over it. The one star I am giving is for the pizza itself, as I love Papa Johns pizza at ANY location. This specific one I have given 2 chances too and may have to find a different location next time. First time I visited I had ordered my pizza online, using my points account and when I arrived to pay the worker closed out the order before I was able to make payment. He then had to reopen so he could take the payment for my pizza and because of this I lost all my points (was a higher order). I again, ordered online today and when I arrived they had not even started making my pizza but of course they used the classic "it's in the oven excuse". Waited about 20 minutes more than my estimated max time frame for my pizza. Zero apology for the wait and their customer service is LACKING majorly. They were not sociable or even really nice to anyone including myself walking in. Recommend the pizza NOT the locations service. read more

Literally the worst Papa John's experience I have ever had!!! Ordered a heart pizza combo to surprise my hubby for Valentine's Day. Used the app at 10:20 for 11:45 delivery. Even called to confirm. I spent $3.00 for delivery and tipped $3.00. Pizza wasn't delivered until 12:33. No notice. And my husband almost went to get other lunch (remember it was a surprise!) because they were so late so I had to tell him to wait that something was coming. I called to ask where his food was and they said they had a 'system issue' and it was on the way. No notice of any kind and they offered me a free one topping pizza next time. Really?!?! The price was expensive. when I got my pizza (a large with pepperoni and mushroom) I barely had any toppings. I'm extremely dissapointed with this location, for the first time ever, after years of getting my orders here.. Not sure if it's on the fault of any new employees or what.. but it's unfortunate tbat I even have to write a bad review after my horrible experience with them this evening... If it wasn't bad enough that I was told my order was not placed at this specific location that I ALWAYS order from, and that i must have placed my order at another location (which I unfortunately could not get through on the phone line to because this particular location was so busy) and seeing as they close at 8, I went ahead and sent my mother to a completely different location than what I was sure I placed my order at, because that particular place being the Clinton Township Township location, told me that there was no order there under my name... then half an hour to closing, I receive a phone call from what I'm assuming was the manager of the Clinton Township location to asked if I was coming to get my order that was ready and waiting for pickup... the very same order that I was told almost an hour ago was not there and must have been placed at a different location.. so after calling my mother to apologize and tell her she needed to come all the way back over to Clinton Township to go to the correct location where our order was probably sitting cold by now, I tried to call to make sure that they were going to be open and let them know that my mother was in fact coming to pick up this order that had been waiting to be picked up because I was told it was never there in the first place... and let me tell you never in my life have I ever felt so mistreated by customer service as I was continually hung up on call after call for about a good 5 to 10 minutes straight every time someone picked up they would immediately hang up on me within seconds of me starting to speak.... The food is never ready when you go in to get it and after what I've seen I don't think you want to eat it anyway. Multiple times in the past few weeks I have seen the foreign guy and woman cough all over the place without covering their mouths or washing their hands! The guy actually coughed ON THE PIZZA while he was stretching the dough! They do not treat the employees well at all which is probably why everyone keeps leaving them. DO NOT EAT FROM THIS PLACE! THEY PREPARE FOOD THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH WITH NO GLOVES OR MASK!!! Where do I begin... ah yes! (5/9/20), I'm riding home from a hard day of work to find this place barely lit, sloppy, and open! I walked in immediately to a female with a slight language barrier and a thriving attitude and disregard for work performance. I tried asking how much for a papdia, she wouldn't say. Then I asked again and she pointed to it and told me with flavor to get, then I asked a third time and just said steak, give me a steak one. With no gloves she took my money and I waited. Now, while I waited I noticed half of the employees not wearing masks which is VERY ALARMING considering it's a damn pandemic going on now. I watched a bigger guy in the back(NO GLOVES) preparing food and watching stuff on his phone which I'm sure wasn't sanitized. He used that same hand to continue preparing some poor soul's pizza. Keep in mind there are delivery Guys coming in and out of the store not using gloves or wearing masks. So... the female walks away and starts eating some type of food out of a pan that looked like it belonged on the food line with the same hands that was used to take my dirty ass money. Needless to say she had a mask on at least, I wasn't really concerned since she didn't put anything back into that pan. But nothing would prepare me for what was coming next... The bigger guy in the black wearing an all black shirt began making my food and it was disgusting! He started pressing deeply and firmly into my food with his BARE HANDS and then proceeded to roll it out with some type of tool. He dug his hand into a pan with meat in it and sprinkled it onto the dough along with the cheese. I literally was about to throw up just watching him prepare it. Nothing like a bit of COVID-19 dough to give it a little kick! So he pit it into the oven and walked away on the phone. No one cared btw, all just walking around BS-ing. So finally my food is coming along off the oven and some random ass drive came into the store... didn't even wash his hands and glove up or have a mask on, he prepared my food, touched it, and boxed it up behind a counter where you can't see how they're preparing it. As he tried to hand it to me I questioned the staff.. "None of you guys are wearing gloves?" They looked at me like I was not from this earth. I said.. "None of you guys prepare for with gloves??". He looks at the female and she then explain that the oven is 450 degrees. So I stare at them for a moment flabbergasted... she then proceeded to refund me my money because she already knew what I was thinking lol. After I got to the door, she started speaking Spanish so I couldn't understand what she was saying about me. So just a Public Service Announcement, DO NOT EAT FROM THIS PLACE!! First time trying Papa John's pizza and it had a hair baked into my pizza on my second bite in. I called immediately and they handed the phone off to a "manager" she told me she made the pizza herself and had a hat on. I replied well apparently you needed a hair net because you hair was in my food. She offered to send me a new pizza out I said okay then she told me it was going to cost me $3.50 to have it delivered. I said forget it and threw out the pizza. She said she would have her manager call me since she was just an employee and would have the manager who was coming in later return my call. Also, that they are under new ownership and things arn't running smoothly. I gave them 2 days to return my call and they did not. Eh definitely not worth the money. Thought we would give this place a second chance, since our first order we placed I asked for my pizzas well done and we received them burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. This time around we had a coupon for 2 large 2 topping pizzas with a 12" cheese bread and a pop. Needless to say the only thing that made the pizza decent was the garlic butter that comes with it. This pizza is middle of the road pizza. Not as bad as a $5 pizza, but not as good as higher end pizza which the price reflects. All in all its a good tasting pizza, crust lacks flavor unless you use the garlic sauce that comes with it. Garlic breadsticks are good. read more
