I am glad we finally gave this place a shot. We've had the pumpkin spice, which does taste like pumpkin on the inside, and an apple fritter, which wasn't bad, but just a bit too crispy for my husband's taste. He says the apple fritter is perhaps the only donut that Baxter's does best. There were a few others that we had and I am sure there will be more to try. The breakfast sandwiches are the bomb. They are hands down the best breakfast sandwiches anywhere. We've had the sausage and bacon one, and the croissant was tender. The only issue with this place, and it's not the only place with this issue is the communication problem, and English barrier with hiring people who aren't ready to communicate fully in English with customers. I know Spanish and will use it when I can, but there's a limit, and this should be addressed if you don't want customers to get frustrated as I almost did asking about their milk boba tea. Some milk boba teas come with boba, and many places don't specify that, so you got to ask. I did ask and the perplexity of faces and the response was "Yeah, you want boba," and I am like "Yeah, but does it cost extra?" In the end I found out, and this goes for any of you, if you would like to know, boba is 75 cents extra, Regardless, they don't win the boba award since it wasn't as good as other places that make boba milk tea.
