This is the best pizza that we have had in a long time. The service was amazing even though there was only 1 waitress, we arrived at almost 6, and there was barely anyone in there. However, the closer to 6:30-7 it got the more people started coming in. She looked flustered but she still was attentive and constantly was apologizing, we felt really badly for her but I want her to know she was doing Amazing!!! The ambiance was lacking, it reminded us of Pizza Hut in the 90s, but it doesn't matter because the Pizza and the Cheese sticks were So Cheesy, we were in heaven!! Their side salad was huge too, whenever I order a side salad at any other restaurant it costs me a ton of money for a teeny bowl. If you only see teenagers working, turn around and walk out. The food here is *sometimes* good. I've tried several menu items and I've noticed that the hit or miss aspect is always determined by whether adults or kids are running the place that day. Both in service and quality of food. During my last visit (party of three), there was only one other table occupied and our food still came out bad and we had to go to the counter to ask for our drinks to be refilled. Cold in the middle calzone, no cheese on a sandwich, and the plates were covered in fingerprints. The young lady waiting our table was more interested in checking her phone than checking on our table. ... If only this town had more dining options. read more

We were in town doing some antique shopping back in May and decided to stop by here for lunch. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. They kept the place clean and the prices are very reasonable. We will stop by the next time we are in town and you should stop by too. read more

Wow the other 7 reviews must be from friends and family lol. I got a mini pizza, potatoe poppers and ravioli. Food was actually terrible and I'm the least picky person ever. Pizzas crust was hard as a rock, pizza sauce is SPAGHETTI flavored sauce, cheese was rubbery, potato things tasted like they had previously been frozen, etc. Just leaving an accurate review so no one else is shocked when it's terrible. read more

Best Pizza around. Seriously! Great toppings, and menu choices. Staff is friendly and on top of their game. Prices are on point too. Been dozens of times and never had a bad experience. If you liked the hot bacon dressing, you will be sad to know they don't do it anymore, my only gripe. read more

Delicious pizza. Delicious salads. Delicious calzones. Did I mention they have delicious food? Papa Jack's Pizza uses quality ingredients when making their pizzas. They offer up several unique pizza flavors (Taco, Hot Wing, BBQ Chicken, Chicken Alfredo, Cheeseburger, the Works, Veggie), but they also allow you to customize your own pizza as well. They have three different kinds of crust (Original, White Thin, Wheat Thin) and they have a "baby pizza" special that runs Mon-Sat (Baby pizza, side salad + drink for $6.59). They can make any pizza combination into a calzone which you can order in two sizes (small or large), these are an excellent alternative to pizza. In addition to pizza, they also offer sandwiches. You have a lot to choose from: Ham and Cheese, Italian Sub, Club Sub, Papa Jack's Trio, BLT, Pizza Sub, Philly Chicken, Honey BBQ Chicken, Chicken Bacon Melt, Meatball Sub, Turkey Bacon Melt, Chicken Parmesan, Buffalo Chicken, Southwest Chicken, Philly Steak Sub and BBQ Beef. I have never heard any complaints about their sandwiches. You can order a salad there as well, their spinach salad is really good and I order it when I can't get away from the desk (they do deliver). They have several salad options and those can also be made to order. Other options: Pastas, pickles, french fries, chips, hot wings, bread/cheese sticks, toasted ravioli, mozzarella sticks, Bosco sticks and desserts (apple/cherry dessert pizza, cinnamon sticks and cookies backed fresh daily). They do serve alcohol (wine is from local wineries!) and the staff there is super friendly (and fun). read more

It's tough to assign stars to a place like Papa Jack's, because it's not one of the places I would want to visit during my last week on earth, but, when I'm in Lexington, and I want a great meatball sub, it is the one and only place to get it (ignore the Pizza Hut, please). I've also had their pizza, and it is really good - not like Spin or some of the other gourmet shops in KC, but it's fine. Rather than obsessing about relative merit, let's talk about the place itself. It has about zero atmosphere - a shotgun shop with a glass storefront and flourescent lights. Formica tables and hard chairs. This is a paper napkin type place without any real character. But the food is really good. Like I said, the meatball sub is one of the best I've had - great bread, and they cut the meatballs in half before grilling them to give them a little extra texture. The flavor is great, and extra sauce for dipping is on the side. Their pizza is better than typical pizza - it's not gourmet, but it's a solid effort. Good sauce with some zing, and nicely topped. This is a local place, and they deserve business. I recommend it for what it is. read more

Very cute hometown pizzeria right along Main Street. Pizza was terrific and staff was so nice. One of the few places in Lexington that isn't fast food. Definitely recommend to anyone traveling through the area! read more

Excellent pizzas! They have a great selection with a variety of crusts and toppings. They are WAY WAY WAY better than Pizza Hut! The only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars is that the actual restaurant isn't decorated and rather plain - but it's clean, people are friendly and make excellent pizza particularly for our small town! read more
