Visited during Christmas Pop Up Bar season. Such a cute area decorated outside. It was not crowded. The smells of fresh pizza filter out to the parking lot and draw visitors in to their restaurant

Very trendy bar and grill. Great indoor area with multi games playing, a good selection of Martin city beers on tap, larger tables for groups, Big outside area with lots of room and a live band sometimes as well. Staff were so friendly and sweet. FYI I would recommend a reservation on Friday/Saturday nights as this place is hoppin. The Food guys was chefs kiss. No joking it's fantastic. I know Mac & cheese really but for real it's the BOMB! The pizza was great as well. Whole family loved it. Little fun fact they will be housing a Holiday Pop Up!!!

Station 7. A very cool place. One of Martin City Brewery's satellite locations, so you already know the beer is top notch. The food menu is pretty dang good as well. (Try the bruschetta) The inside is spacious and comfortable. Keep going back, though, and you'll find a large outdoor beer garden. The place to be, weather permitting. Our server, Kellen, was the best, like if Plato, in his Theory of Forms, idealized a server in its true and eternal essence, it would be Kellen. I feel like I've seen the light.

Stacked Chipotle

We stopped here for lunch after a trip to Colonial Gardens up the road. Relaxed, modern bar atmosphere. Our server was busy, but friendly and accommodating. We started with the Stuffed Cheese Bread and loved the flavor of the crust and satisfying cheese pull. My companion ordered the Stacked Chipotle sandwich with ham, carnitas, brisket, pickles, provolone, Swiss, chipotle mayo, and BBQ sauce on a Cubano roll. There's a lot packed into that sandwich, but it harmonized beautifully. She said she would order it again. I had the Italian grinder with ham, pepperoni, salami, capicola, provolone, shredded lettuce, onion, mayo, and red wine vinegar on a baguette and toasted panini style. I figured I couldn't go wrong with that combo and I was right. Sides are sold separately which seems to be standard operating procedure at a lot of restaurants now. We ordered fries and they were fine. I'm glad we tried this place and I would definitely go back when in the area.

Build your own.

We went here on a Saturday night to see my friend's band play. No one in our party of three had ever been to this restaurant. My wife and I and our friend were all craving pizza. She is a vegetarian so she got her own pizza. My wife and I are not vegetarian so we had pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, and pineapple. We built our own-- had to get some vegetable and fruit. The pizza was fantastic. I would order it again any day. The thing that is holding the rating back for me is the staff. Some of the waitresses were excellent. Ours was nice enough but incredibly slow. We saw her only a couple of times in four hours. She could've made so much more money if she would have brought us more beverages. I went inside, and the bartender was up to his ears in orders and cocktails. They need to have an additional bartender at this location. This poor guy was doing the best he could and quickly. But he was overwhelmed. Over 100 guests for one bartender is simply not tenable. That's just bad management. Maybe they were just short staffed and somebody called in sick. I'm not sure, but no one was getting service very quickly. They do a ton of carryout business with their pizzas though. It was quite impressive to see. I think if they got the staffing right, this would've easily been a five-star experience.

5 Stars: Food, Service, Ambiance, Choice, Extras 4 Stars: Beer This place is fun!!! The food exceeded my expectations - I had the salmon salad and it was fresh awesomeness - orange segments, dried cherries with salmon? Great idea!! The service was stellar - answered questions, gave me samples of beers (and salad dressing) to help me decide, and anticipated our needs.. Ambiance? Really fantastic from the interesting "flux capacitor" ducts in the main dining area to the splendid patio And the extras? Um, how about a separate full service coffee bar? And a to-go beer cooler? Heck yeah!!!! Definitely a pleasant surprise on my KC trip and highly recommend!!!!!

Good service, clean, good menu. Ordered charcuterie pizza, eight inch... lots of oil from the meat on top of pizza, could have been blotted off for more appealing presentation. Pretty skimpy with the meat... the cheese used was very stringy to eat made it difficult to not have each bite look like I was just learning to eat.. I scaped off the cheese and ate pizza much easier....

Reviews are largely positive. People enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, family-friendly patio, and consistently praised pizza. Drinks, especially beer and cocktails, are also excellent.

If you want to sit outside with a beer and a slice, OK. The service was good but the pizza is better at the Martin City Tap room.

Perfectly sweet and light. The peach tee kolsch was good too- a nice balance of peach. The cherry limeade wheat was right on the edge of sour. It was good that it was served in a smaller glass so we didn't do too much of it. We also did a shot of the stonebreaker cinnamon whiskey, which was a really nice collab between fringe and another local distillery. Super smooth with an oaky flavor on the background. Absolutely love the dark carnival decor, especially the pinball machines, the giant skeleton and the patio with a garage door interior. Highly highly recommend on every level. You should go!

There is a story for much of the art work which I will not do a disservice by trying put it in a review. Go there, see it and ask they'll gladly share the story. Second, INCREDIBLE beers are on tap. I tasted 10 during my visit and every single beer was worth trying. My faves were: Freshly Squeezed Blueberry Lemonade Wheat, Apple Pie Milkshake IPA and Calliope Caramel Cream Ale. Finally, the most important part of the operation is the people. Every single person that was present made me feel welcome and like I was already a part of their community. WOW, I was left feeling like I'd made new friends which I know I did. I travel to KC at least once per year and every year I will return to support this awesome brewery. Thank you for a memorable experience.

I mean soo good. I had a Mojito to drink and I wasn't a fan. It had some kind of coconut flavor in it and I don't like coconut. I've never had one that had coconut in it before. Hubs had some kind of punch and it was tasty. I ended up getting one of those too andnit was nice. For meals, we both got wings. Our waitstaff misheard me and gave me boneless wings I stead of traditional wings as I ordered. No biggie. I ate them but I'm here to tell you, I'm not a fan of boneless wings. It's hunks of meat in sauce. Hubs got traditional wings as he ordered and he liked them. Overall, decent place with decent food. It's close so we'll be back.

I also ordered wings with mojo sauce which I recommend. The sauce was like a sweet tangy taste with a little bit of heat. I also ordered a cold beer to wash it down. Overall it was a great experience and can't wait to spend more time here in the cooler weather

After a quick Yelp search for neighborhood bars and sorting for "highest rated," we decided to check out Water's Edge. Who cares that we had no idea what water it was supposed to be on the edge of? We pulled into the lot, and to be honest, we looked at each other and said, "ehh, we'll see." It looks like a 1970's roadside motel, which, no lie, was super intriguing. Walk in the front door, and MY MAN! From the outside it seriously doesn't look like this place should exist. But it does! It has all the personality of a neighborhood dive bar and all the best things you love about your favorite karaoke bar. Because, yeah, this is a karaoke bar. And it's a great one. But karaoke is not what makes Water's Edge a great bar. It's not even the food, which by the way is phenomenal (try the pepper jack cheese cubes!). What makes Water's Edge a great bar is what makes any bar great - it's the bartenders. Daniel was engaging, friendly, funny, and -- most importantly -- he actually appeared to love his job. The crazy thing is that attitude seemed to permeate the staff, even as the night went on. (Cause yeah, of course we stayed.) And that, my friends, is evidence of one thing - a good boss. After meeting Ozzie, her infectious enthusiasm and charm made it clear to us that she IS the reason Water's Edge is now our go-to for every future visit to the KC area, and we may even be so bold as to claim it as our own neighborhood bar, as long as it's cool that we consider it a pretty big neighborhood. We'll be back, Ozzie, and Dan, and all you guys. Save a couple bar stools for two Cardinal fans!

It's a great facility with bar seating as well as ample table seating. One thing that was nice is that they offer mixed drinks in addition to a variety of their beers and others. This is not always the case at breweries and it's a welcome option for several in our group. As with most breweries food is not really an offering. We ordered pizza and had it delivered which worked just fine for the group. However, I will say that they do offer hotdogs from a hotdog roller but that was not on the list for anyone in our group. Overall, I really liked the layout of this establishment which makes it perfect for groups to be able to come in and have a beer and have some fun and laughter. If you and your friends are looking to put together a mini pub crawl Lees Summit has quite an offering and this would be the perfect spot to start your crawl.

When we arrived, there were only a few other patrons, so it really wasn't busy. There were three employees working behind the bar, and they appeared to be occupied with something, which was understandable. However, despite sitting at the bar for several minutes, not one of them acknowledged or greeted us at any point. I grabbed a couple of menus for my wife and me, and after looking them over for several minutes, we ultimately decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. Unfortunately, because of that experience, I can't comment on the quality of the food or drinks. If you're looking for a brewery with good food, good beer, and a welcoming atmosphere, I'd recommend checking out Diametric Brewing Co., which is right down the street, or Station 7 Tavern, a Martin City Brewing Company restaurant.
