Food was ok. Kind of bland, no real flavor. Bought the chicken fajita. Fast service. However, people were rude and barely acknowledged customers. Portions are small for $13 compared to other authentic mexican places in surrounding area. Won't be returning. read more

I order via grub hub. We ordered 7 Pupusas and a Shrimp quesadilla... They were very fresh and had an amazing taste. Very Satisfied . The delivery driver was also friendly. read more

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE BUSINESS. I was very excited to try Pansa Llena on Cinco de Mayo this year. It was recommended by some neighbors. We placed our order online (after not being able to get through by phone) and when we got our confirmation email, it said 70 minute delivery time. 70 minutes is normally longer than I would appreciate but we understood it was Cinco de Mayo and places were very busy. After 90 minutes, we still had not received our food so we tried to call the restaurant. It took about 15 times trying to call before a person actually answered. He apologized, told us our food should be ready in 2-3 minutes and then would be out for delivery. After waiting another HOUR, we called back. This time is took about 30-35 tries to connect with someone. Again, they apologized, took down our number and said we would be contacted by the manager or owner the following day about a partial refund. Our food arrived almost 3 HOURS from when we placed it. Again, I certainly understand that restaurants are busier at times, but I did not appreciated the lack of honesty about arrival time. If we knew it would have taken 3 hours to get our food, we would have chosen elsewhere. The least they could do is contact us back but no luck a week later. No calls from the manager or owner, and when I tried to call, I was hung up on. Not impressed at all with their service. read more

Waitresses are incompetent idiots. Sure, they're nice to look at but when I wait for my food for an hour and a half and don't even see one of them at any point, then that's neither here nor there. When I asked for the check, I waited another 30 minutes to the point where I went up to complain and found the waitress just talking to their co-worker about boyfriend issues. Boo hoo. If you treat your boyfriend half as bad as you treat your customers, no wonder he doesn't respect you. Also, food is bland at best and the place is so loud that even a 20 year old such as myself had his ears popping. read more

Let's start by saying the food itself is 3 Star. Nothing great, but the charbroiled chicken is definitely not bad. That said, the service here is downright terrible. I went there with some work colleagues and we were the only ones there at noon yesterday. There were only five of us and it took more than 30 minutes to get our food. Our waitress even got two of the orders wrong. She was unpleasant the whole time and gave us a nasty look when we asked to split the check. And here's the kicker. I ordered shrimp tacos and I have had food poisoning ever since. It was definitely from this place because all I had previously that day was cereal and a banana. Before yesterday, it was three years before I had been to this place. I'm never eating there again. read more

Great food & margaritas ($4.99 for large). Stopped by here while I was waiting for prescription to be filled at Walgreens. Good food, friendly staff & environment. Worth checking out. read more

This place is awesome and yes I am a fan. I discovered it only a month ago and have been here at least 6 times since. Prices are dirt cheap and the food is outstanding. Shrimp tacos are delicious...and you get 3 for 7.00! They even have bottled Mexican Coke! I think I'm going there tonight again! read more

4.5 stars - lots and lots of love for the owners, who are wonderful friendly people. Good prices, delicious peruvian-style rotisserie chicken, tres leches cake, and some other tasty treats. The White Oak shopping center and the Colesville area in general is hugely devoid of good dining options, which makes this one of my most frequent go-tos for lunch. read more

Some friends and I came here on International taco day, which also happened to land on a Tuesday. Everyone knows Tuesday is taco Tuesday. I chose this spot because when I called they said they had taco specials and it was happy hour. So fast forward, I get to the restaurant and was disappointed. Tacos were regular price and the items on the happy hour menu were chicken wings nachos and quesadillas. I ordered chicken nachos and wings, my friend who doesn't eat meat ordered nachos with no meat and added beans instead. Our server repeated the order, but still seemed confused and came back 7 mins later and confirmed out orders again. Food came out my food was correct, but not too tasty. My nachos were baked in the oven with the cheese on it which I thought was odd, but hey I ate it. My other 2 friends food came out correct, but my friend who order nachos with beans food didn't come out it was never order. At that point my friend didn't want to wait and decoded to order something "simple" a shrimp taco. Food and service was not great. We were still charged for everything even though our server didn't get out order right. We left feeling unsatisfied and still wanting tacos. read more

Today was international taco day and taco Tuesday but this place didn't celebrate it at all! They have happy hour includes appetizers and drinks for cheap (cheap doesn't always mean good). The food was not good at all and everything else is overpriced! My order was taken and confirmed 3 times and still wasn't placed in correctly. It was very frustrating and then when I finally received my food it was horrible...initially I ordered nachos but after it took 3times and was still placed incorrectly I gave up and asked for one shrimp hard taco, regardless that they messed up my order 3x and had me waiting 30 minutes while my coworker's received their food they still charged me for one taco...this was $3 and was not special at all. My coworker got her nachos and they were oven baked and not good, the queso is liquidy like water and just plain velveta cheese...this place was a waste my coworker's and I were highly disappointed. read more

Quaint restaurant in a strip mall...i disagree with a previous reviewer i didnt feel it was sketchy (is next to a sleepys and giant). Very casual...cross between a family restaurant and a local sports bar. The food came out fast and was delicious. Waitresses were also very nice. Very inexpensive as well! read more

A bit overpriced for the quality, the quesadillas are better than nachos. The nachos I got were not fresh and they were very stingy with the guacamole. I paid $10 not worth it. Also the quesadilla was $9 for only a half quesadilla. read more

Very tasty food! I got the Presidente combo and the salmon tacos. Both are great. Beer is cheap (I think $3!?) Chips are warm and salsa mild-ish, the way I like it. One can always add more heat. Chunks of onion and tomato! YUM! Atmosphere is odd with crookedly mounted candelabras and pictures and some horseshoes...? There is a small bar in back to sit and get cocktails or Modelo on draft and watch Spanish TV programming. Or there is a carry out in the back with pollo a la brasa style chicken. White Oak Shopping Center - If you are next to a Sears, you're there! read more

Worst customer service ever! I called to place a order for delivery and I called back a hour after and the lady told me there is no delivery today! And that it has to be over $20-30 for delivery! When I placed the order she didn't let me know about that! I was waiting over a hour for nothing! Don't waste your time and money here! read more

Excellent source for traditional Mexican food. After living in Mexico for awhile I really do not like the Tex-Mex that passes as Mexican food in this area. This was very close to places we ate in Mexico while driving around for 4 months. Made us both yearn to be back in Guadalajara or Tequila! Will definitely go back and try another meal!!!! read more

We don't dine in anymore... The place is far too noisy to hear yourself think. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. We order to pick up now. Only time our food is actually prepared in a timely manner. Some of the waitress are nice others...... UHM. read more

Meh... 2.5 stars. I was in the area and I Yelp'd for a place to grab some lunch. Based on the Yelp reviews, I chose to have it here. I had the combination platter (3 meats). The ground beef enchilada had the most flavor, but the rest was very bland - I was expecting better. Speaking of bland, the salsa was a tasteless, light pink mash. Maybe it would've been better to have ordered the margarita? read more

I ordered 5 different plates for my family but it was disappointment ; they need to have an actually chef to teach the stuff about cooking, bad food. read more

I wish half a star were an option. They don't deserve three, nor do they deserve two. Food is always good, not great. Service is usually slow. They do have a chipotle style area in the back and cold beer, so there's that. read more

I may have found a new enchilada addiction. I had this two days in a row - it was really good. The staff was very busy, but very nice. I didn't give it 4 stars because of the dirty menus. I'm stunned when restaurants don't wipe down their menus. I opened mine up and it had a big old hunk of salsa down the middle. The server just wiped it with a napkin and put it back it rotation. That was a bit gross. Otherwise, I really liked the enchiladas. read more

Love this place! Food is really good but still very. CHeap ! I always get the quarter pound chicken with coleslaw and yuca on the side for only about 7$! Sooooo bomb!Sooo much better than a chipotle! Nice great quality Spanish food. Although the place is small but as long as it's clean and serves great food I can't complain read more

The service here is AWFUL which is really unfortunate because their food is pretty good and the prices are as well. We love to come here for lunch but the last few times literally sat for ten minutes before even brought menus, acknowledged, etc.. It did appear that the waitstaff paid more attention if you were a male customer. The other day, my colleague and I walked out after waiting 15 minutes at 11:30 when there were maybe 3 tables taken and not offered menus before we just left and went somewhere else. Your loss, Pansa Llena. You should probably concentrate on the customer service aspect of running an establishment as much as the quality of the food. The goal is to RETAIN customers, not drive them away. read more

Love this place. I often get takeout here for my family. They have great roasted chicken, plantains and homemade tortillas. It's reasonable and delicious. Sit down service is also very good. read more

Good food decent drinks. The beer tap needed some attention but they seemed to be working on it. They seem to have set up a build your own burrito system very similar to Chipotle which I think is a smart move on their part. The ingredients are fresher and more authentic than Chipotle so I will be going to pansa llena everytime. There is a bar in there but it's small and in the lunch hour it fills up fast but a great spot to get lunch, dinner, or a few margaritas! read more

Charcoal chicken was great. Nice chips n salsa, salsa seemed wet but was very tasty. First time ive had fried yuca, will definitely try it again had Can't beat the price, cheaper than fast food. read more

This place used to have some pretty delicious food about 5 years ago which is why my family decided to have dinner here last Friday after our hiatus. Boy, were we really dissappointed. The only decent thing we consumed were the free chips and salsa. We ordered a chicken burrito, STEAK burrito and a red snapper dinner with a side of platanos- pretty simple right? WRONG! After waiting almost 40 minutes for our food to come out (There were only 2 other customers who already received their dinners), we were finally greeted with burned fish & platanos and soggy burritos. Mind you, we asked for a STEAK burrito and received a ground beef burrito. Our waitress was no where to be found after dropping off the food. The tortillas for the burritos tasted like a soggy rag and the chicken tasted and looked like a mop. You know you have a problem when you can't get a 17 yr old boy to finish his food when he's usually a human garbage disposal. The waitress finally showed up with a $62 bill which she made sure to include a generous $8.38 tip for herself. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. This is one time I do not agree with my fellow yelpers by giving this place 3 1/2 stars. If you're thinking about eating at this place, you're better off eating at Taco Bell. read more

It wasn't gross while we were eating but it wasn't very tasty either. Everyone had a tummy ache afterwards. So much cheese.

We stopped here for lunch after Mr. Logical had to pick something up from the Sears next door. I had the shrimp tacos, which were great. We both ordered diet sodas, and the waiter brought us each a 20 oz. bottle of diet pepsi, but other patrons had fountain drinks, which was odd. The restroom left a lot to be desired, however. read more

Food is okay. But like everyone else has already said about this place: the SERVICE is fucking awful. If you want to get called a "puta" to your face by a middle-aged woman who thinks you don't understand what she's saying, then go here by all means. Also, they're very stingy with their sauces. I asked for more sauce and she rudely pointed to the bag saying she already put some in there- um, I know you did...but I asked for MORE. You literally put 2 tiny ass cups in my bag. They also purposefully messed up my order. I specifically asked for 2 side orders of yucca and 1 side of rice TWO TIMES over the phone, yet I only saw 1 side order of yucca. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE- THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. read more

This place is truly a local gem. It hands down beats any of the fancier sit down type Mexican restaurants in the area in both quality and price. All of their food is delicious. I highly recommend their "golden chimichanga" and a side of fried yuca. Also, if you enjoy spicy, be sure to ask for the habenaro salsa.....but be careful and only add small amounts to your food because it is super hot. This is a great place to bring friends and have food and drinks. With a super friendly staff and a full stocked bar, you can't go wrong here. read more

Horrible customer service. Staff sad both unhelpful and rude. I placed an order in advance for delivery, gave them an extra 10 minutes past the delivery time before I called to check. They said they didn't have a driver today, which should have been said at the time of the order, or anytime between as they had both my email and phone. I was told they would fix it, and have the food to me in 5-7 minutes. I called back 15 minutes later, and they hung up on me. Most annoying part is because I used the card I had to include the tip in advance. Will never call again. read more

We stopped by for margaritas and nachos. We started off by asking for a drink menu. The hostess (?) then had to find our server because she could not understand. Our two house margaritas cost $21! Not their fault as we did not ask for the drink prices as they are not on the menu. The nachos were average and the salsa was like soup. The bright spot was the flautas which are about the best we've had. Service was very slow. There are much better choices. We will not be back. read more

The food is great but the service can be a lot better. This is the third time this happens. I usually call in an order for pick up. This is the third time a male answers the phone, takes my order but when I get to the location the order was never given to the staff. So there I am waiting for another 20 minutes. The food is great and dining in is also ok. Who ever that male that answers the phone is, should stop taking orders if he is not going to pass the info to the staff and let someone else take the orders. read more

We have been three times now and the food is getting better and better. The pork burrito was my choice the first two times but this time I went with the shrimp tacos. Not on the dinner menu, the waiter was still willing to get them for me. They were great! The shrimp were freshly grilled and nice flavors all around. This is definitely our new favorite for Mexican and margaritas and it is nice and close. read more

I've been here two times, food is good. pupusas revueltas are 3 stars, they need more meat. too much cheese. also they have many dishes but they aren't on the menu so i had to ask them if they had them. also they don't have a drink menu. the girl seemed to not know the drinks either. place needs updating, its dark. i went at lunch time and there were two other tables of people. it takes them forever to bring out the food. if they cant handle 3 tables i cant imagine if the place was packed. the yuca was too sweet. the fried fish is a little soggy for my taste. the rice is good. the chips with salsa are good. they just need to do improvements and it'll be a great place. food is good just not excellent. they have alot of tables. and a take out area. place looks clean. so its a barely average place. read more

We get take out chicken and sides here regularly. The food is consistantly good, and reasonably priced. I cant comment on wait staff as we just go in for pickup. But they are always nice to us. Nice family owned restaurant. read more

I'm not sure what to rate this restaurant! The first time we got carry-out from them it was DELICIOUS! I got a bean burrito and my boyfriend got something equally tasty (I don't remember what), but the most recent time it was thoroughly mediocre at best. The sauce on my burrito tasted like marinara sauce and everything was just incredibly sub-par. We haven't been back since because we're not sure if it's worth it. If it was always like the first time, we would be regulars, as it is minutes away from us, but ever since the marinara burrito we haven't been able to validate trying again. The first visit would be 5-star, but the second one is 2-star at best. read more

I live right around the corner and have always been coming to this place. The food is always good and at a good price as well. The restaurant always looks dark and depressing but they have nice staff what would take good care of you. Sometime they can unprofessional while other time they can prove with great customer service. I'm a frequent customer of this place so I would gladly recommend it. Their charcoal chicken is really good probably their best item for a great price as well. They rice is really good I'm always surprise to how good it is. Sometimes the music can be loud. The setting of the restaurant are not that good but food overall is a go read more

Walked in and expected to be greeted by a waitress wasn't even acknowledged. We ended up seating ourselves. After sitting there for 10 mins and not having a single waitress acknowledge us we decided to go to the counter to order. We get to the counter to realize they have 2 different menus with 2 different prices, wtf!? We stood in front of the cash register long enough to hear the niece and aunt that work there arguing, even then they didn't acknowledge us. We ended up walking out. Service sucks here, find somewhere else that has their stuff together. read more
