I placed a simple appetizer order through their own app, which quoted about 30 minutes. When I arrived, I was told to sit and wait. After an hour with no updates, I asked again--only to find out they hadn't even started making my order. At that point I asked for a refund, and the manager was rude and refused to process it, telling me to "go to the website" instead. I left without my food and without a refund. I've reported the incident to Montgomery County because this feels like deceptive business practice. If you're considering carry-out from here, think twice. The venue is very spacious and the staff are friendly. We had the crab and shrimp enchiladas, beef chimichanga and a pineapple mojito. The mojito was tasty and not too sweet. The beef was pretty good, moist and a good portion. The seafood was good bit had a bit of a strong fish flavor that mad me wonder about the quality of the crab meat. I had the Fajita with steak, shrimp and chicken and it was delicious to say the least and was the best I have ever had. The steak and chicken was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Sadly I'll have to agree with most of the negative reviews here about service and prices! Visited on a Saturday night and stayed for drinks and dancing. We had a big group of 20-30 people and they set tables together that sat 20-22, then we had more tables nearby as more came. There was only 3 baskets of chips and salsa for the table of 20+ and by the time I got there, none was left and I was told they asked for water and more chips several times for the past 30 mins (there was maybe one or two other couples at the restaurant besides our party, so not busy). We never got more chips although we asked at least 3 times since I arrived. Drinks had no prices shown and they don't serve tap water, only bottled (still or sparkling). The large margaritas are gigantic (glass was as tall as the 16oz bottle of water) and we ordered pitchers of margaritas, but again no prices given, so we got a surprise when the bill came. As for the food, portions were big and everything smelled great. Flavors were average to good for Tex-Mex food, nothing special. Everything was plated nicely. I got the Lomo Saltado and asked for medium rare, but it was beyond well done, so very dry. The plates are huge and very heavy and the waitress dropped one behind my friend and her shirt and purse got all splattered on! Leather purses get stained with oils! They didn't offer her anything until she and a few of us kept asking (not even a discount on her food or a drink!). At the very end after we all paid and started dancing, they kept her waiting at the table to see what the manager will do while we were dancing. This is the second time I've eaten here. The first time I got takeout and was a bit disappointed in the flavor and temperature (it was lukewarm). I just figured it was because I got takeout. Well, this time I stayed and ate in the restaurant. The food was just so-so and lukewarm again. There were only two of us in the establishment as it was early afternoon. I was hoping for better. I use to come here when it was Los Arrieros . And came a few years back during lunch time. Wow this place has changed. They now have Better lights. I came on a Sat. Night. The place was packed, parking is terrible, they had a DJ and some kind of party going on. MUSIC WAS TOO LOUD !!! I COULDNT TALK TO ANYONE..There was no place to sit. Luckily I found a seat at the bar. Despite being very busy I was amazed how The Bartender "Oscar" was professional, courteous and attentive and made me want to come back. This is the worst place ever. They are racist and treat Black customers with little to no dignity. The back parking lot is where I was awaiting my order when I was blocked in by a Hispanic man claiming to be the owner. I called ahead during a heavy rain and the person at the restaurant expressed a concern for the road safety after confirming the table was available and told me to drive carefully. It was 0/5 on spice and flavor. I requested my bill and was told "the system is down". They weren't able to process my card. I was asked to pay in cash. Of course I never have cash. This was one of my favorite places in the neighborhood. Today I placed a phone order for two pupusas which cost $3. 25 each, a total of $6:50, and a Pina colada drink. Since my relative was in the vicinity I ask if they can pick up my order. When they went inside to pick up the order he was charged $20.00, which he paid for and was not provided a receipt. When he stop by to drop off the food he told me how much they charged me which made me upset. How are they going to charge me 13 dollars for a Pina colada. My wife and I went in, there was a customer sitting at the bar by himself & we just waited about 5 mins for someone to come tell us to sit wherever we wanted.. so we did. They gave us chips and salsa.. which did not have any flavor at all. The waitress came, we asked for water & one of the cups was dirty (fine.. maybe it was the dishwasher) we ordered our food which was shrimp fajitas and camerons con aguilo (shrimp in garlic sauce). The fajitas were just okay.. however the Shrimp in Garlic sauce was horribleeee.. absolutely disgusting. You couldn't taste any type of garlic sauce at all, it tasted more like a beer sauce & was horrible. It was suppose to come with bread which the waitress didn't bring out until half way through our visit. The sauce was watery which was weird. The staff served the food items while our group went through the line. The servers made a great effort to serve their unique drinks (including one with mango). Let me start out by saying this is a fun place to go dancing on Saturday nights and I enjoy it every time i go. The bartenders, Melissa, Franklin and Noelle are amazing. They get 5 stars as a team! They always get my drinks and food right. Plus I notice that folks getting their drinks from the bar get them quickly and with a smile when this trio is working together. Over the last few months, though, there is a new bartender who is unfriendly, gets orders wrong, and makes terrible drinks. Hence, the reason for the two star review. He also seems to think it is okay to hit on the female customers while he is at work. I find the food here to be pretty good. I have a few regular go to selections from the menu that I love. I will continue to visit this place for the dancing fun but will avoid the new bartender as much as possible! read more

Tried this place for lunch today. Good, attentive service, really tasty food, and decent prices. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I got the enchiladas Verde, which had a nice, zippy sauce and plenty of sides with it. My friend suggested going out Friday night for Mexican food. I almost stopped by a dicey place near my school to get just this. I knew just the place less than two miles away. Better yet, there was a Groupon deal for food AND drinks for two ($15 for $30). We arrived a few minutes before 6:30, which is when street parking is allowed. It's also free at that time. Apparently though, they have free parking in back. I was happy to park directly in front of this place. The interior is spacious, and really charming. We were the only diners, and there were a few men at the bar (happy hour was on). Our waitress (I think, Cinthia) spoke zero English, which we were completely fine with. We welcomed her practicing her English with us. However, she was a bit intimidated so a coworker helped out We started with a Summer Margarita featured on their menu. We were told it was $8.50, but I think they gave us the Gringo price- $9.95. That's okay. It was really good! I ordered the shrimp & crab quesadilla from their appetizer section ($12.99 for the large). It was pretty good, but not as good as the place I was going to go to near my school. Two reasons: the guacamole was not fresh (see photo). Safeway makes it better, and chunkier. They used tiny gulf shrimp. If they used large, spiced shrimp cut into pieces, it would have been much, much better. It would only need 2-3 shrimp. While my choice was just OK, I'd come back. Their menu is huge. I'm sure there is something else I'd like better, and with a Groupon, this place is a bargain. read more

Heard there was great food there. Went with some friends Saturday night. Ordered a plate of quesadillas and a big platter for 4, beers and margaritas. I have to say, the food was so amazing! We couldn't even finish it. Our server Ana made sure we had drinks in hand. Her manager, Alcides, made sure our visit was pleasant.
