I did not feel that a complete physical assessment was done in a way that made me confident my heart and lungs were properly checked. I also felt that medications were prescribed without clear explanation of their purpose or possible side effects which left me needing to look up information on my own. My lab results indicated that I am pre diabetic not diabetic however I felt there was repeated discussion of insulin as a treatment option even after I expressed that I did not believe this applied to my condition and without clear explanation of the reasoning behind it. I did not feel fully included in the decision making process regarding my care. Additionally the office environment itself made me uncomfortable as the space felt enclosed with limited ventilation and restricted exits which contributed to my overall sense of unease during the visits. Overall I left both appointments feeling uncomfortable confused and not confident in the communication level or care provided and I would not feel comfortable returning or recommending this provider

I didn't mind that even though it meant there was never a check out procedure of any kind so I sometimes have to remind her to print out referrals we discussed before I leave. But I could look past all that if she wasn't kind of abrasive and rude. We are all human beings deserving of some compassion and respect. I really don't know if she actually checks my chart before my appointments. She has come in before and starts by asking me what medical screenings I'm due for and makes me list off the medications she needs to refill. I have been on the same medications for the entire time I've been seeing her, and they are all refilled at the same time. It is usually the reason for the appointment in the first place. She has my medical chart and records from the other providers I have seen. I don't know why it seems like she doesn't review the information before my appointments but I wish she would try at least. I've never had a doctor ask me to list off the screenings I'm due for. Who knows that off the top of their head. How often to get a mammogram, colonoscopy, etc.... Isn't that something doctors decide depending on the patients unique medical history? Idk. I changed providers recently and it was really such a blessing. I truly hope she does well with her clinic and that this message is used to make constructive changes instead of seen as negative. God bless.

If I could give this office negative stars, I would…read more I have never experienced such a complete failure of patient care. Let's start with the timeline. I waited six weeks just to get an appointment, another week to have the ultrasound, and it has now been more than three weeks since the ultrasound was completed. During that entire time, I have received zero proactive communication from this office. Not one phone call. Not one portal message. Not one update. Every single contact has been initiated by me. Every week I call, I get the same canned response: "The doctor hasn't reviewed your ultrasound yet." Apparently, an ultrasound ordered because of severe pain and abnormal bleeding can simply sit for weeks while the patient is left to suffer. I was told the office manager would call me. That never happened. Just another empty promise from a practice that seems completely incapable of following through on even the most basic aspects of patient care. Meanwhile, I am living with horrific daily abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, and irregular menstrual cycles. Their solution while they let my ultrasound collect dust? A muscle relaxer. Not an answer. Not a diagnosis. Not an expedited review. Just a muscle relaxer that does absolutely nothing to address the reason I'm in pain. To make matters worse, I developed a swollen lump near my lymph node while waiting for someone to review my ultrasound. When I brought it to their attention, I was essentially told it wasn't their problem because it wasn't on my breast and that I should see my primary care physician instead. My primary care physician can't move forward because we are still waiting on the very ultrasound results this office refuses to review. So here I am--stuck in medical limbo because the one office responsible for my care can't be bothered to do theirs. I have a documented family history of cervical, uterine, and ovarian cancers. Whether my ultrasound ultimately shows something serious or not is almost beside the point. No patient should spend weeks wondering if they have cancer while repeatedly begging a medical office to review a test that has already been completed. The emotional toll of this experience has been overwhelming. I am not just frustrated--I am scared. Every day that passes without answers is another day spent wondering whether something serious is being missed while this office does absolutely nothing. This isn't simply poor customer service. This is a complete breakdown in communication, accountability, and basic patient care. A medical practice should never leave patients chasing their own results, making repeated phone calls that go nowhere, receiving broken promises from management, and suffering without a plan while everyone shrugs and says, "The doctor hasn't reviewed it." If this is how they treat a patient with severe symptoms who is actively calling for help, I can't imagine how many other people have been left waiting and wondering. I would not trust this office with my healthcare again, and I strongly encourage anyone considering becoming a patient here to ask themselves one question: If you were in severe pain and worried you might have a serious gynecologic condition, would you want your ultrasound sitting unreviewed for more than three weeks while no one from the office even bothers to call you back? I know my answer.

I had an appointment scheduled for a small issue that needed to be taken care of in a timely manner. Ok appointment set. My work scheduled a meeting that I could not not attend. Ok. Woman on the phone tells me no. And not only no but the appointment that I have in 7 days will not work because it's not ten min longer. Sched for insertion not replacement. I said well that is not my problem that their computer scheduled me wrong it's literally their system. Makes me reschedule for another 3 weeks out. Mind you something expires soon. Then two days ago I received a VM saying that the provider changed their schedule and need to change out to further date. This is absolutely unacceptable and when I brought up to the scheduling nurse she had about as much care to help as a lizzard would. Asked for a call back from office manger and had heard nothing. I had looked around my area for clinics that were available for an appointment and they were all booked for months in advance. Fortunately, I was able to get an appointment with this clinic in a week. I saw Mickaela, one of the physician assistants on staff, for my visit. She was very knowledgeable in my condition and helped me find the best medication I needed. Mickaela was so kind and personable with her questions in order to get to better know my health, but as well as who I am as a person. This type of focus in caring for the "person" instead of just the "patient" truly is what this clinic embodies and is hard to find in healthcare. The MA Monica was so welcoming and friendly when taking my vitals, keeping me at ease. The front desk staff answered all my questions and made the process of being a new patient easy and seamless. I was even able to get lab work done in the clinic which was convenient and efficient of my time. I would highly recommend this clinic and the emphasis that they put into providing optimum care to every single person they encounter.

Let me tell you this has been the worst experience. This place is ONLY about money and NOT patient care! Dr. Carlos Lopez is in the wrong business. You cannot take an oath to care for patients and ONLY want money money money! They let go their best manager Karen and hired back Sujey who has no experience in patient care and satisfaction. Every time I call it is a gamble if I can even get someone to answer let alone if it is someone who speaks ENGLISH. I have gotten a woman who has answered in Spanish and when I ask who I am speaking to after specifically asking for an employee they will disconnect OR tell me call back and still disconnect the call. If I call for a simple question about myself or my child I am always greeted with you need an appt. This office doesn't seem to know what triage is and refuses to answer general questions without making you schedule an appt. WHY? It's just another way to bill insurance and collect MONEY! Today I called for a general question and SUJEY answered I asked for one of the 2 employees who are the only competent ones and was told she was out. I then asked for the next one who she then stated she is here and what is your info. I gave my name ans stated I was not calling for myself. She then just placed the call on hold. Didn't tell me she was, didn't respond to what I said, didn't say anything just simply placed the call on hold. I then waited 4 minutes! The call was then picked up and then the phone hung up. No one spoke but I could clearly hear the phone picked and just put right back down. I then called 3 times back to back and NO ONE answered. They have caller ID so I know SUJEY saw the call and chose to ignore it. I then called the Thomas office which rerouted to Missouri. Andrea picked up and was PROFESSIONAL and assisted me and heard my long ass rant about the sorry ass manager. Of course Santoyo wanted to book an appt for my daughter and refused a triage call. So now I am waiting for a telemed that has been scheduled for tomorrow! Dr. Lopez you need to do something about this practice. If you truly care about your patients you would take triage calls and not require EVERY patient be scheduled. That is absurd and not patient care especially when it is a general question and nothing more! But You find any reason to bill even false billing when no one was even seen but you still submit to insurance for payment! Beware people!
