Dr. Novakovic is a very kind, capable and extremely knowledgeable doctor. My preference would be to see him all the time, but what usually happens is I end up seeing one of his many PA's, as he is only in the North Phoenix office one day per week and then double or triple booked so wait times can be exceedingly long. The front office is usually too busy to give me a paper receipt on the way out and when I asked for several specific receipts they said they would have to charge me $25. Are you serious? I no longer go here, but if you are more comfortable speaking Russian or Serbian and don't mind the wait times, then this is the place for you. Again, the doc is great but his practice of pawning you off to his PA's is what troubles me the most. I am paying to see him not his PA and although they may think like him, they are not him. read more

Dr. Novakovic may be the best doctor I've ever met. He is amazing and has a wonderful bedside manner. If you had to wait (other reviews) it is probably because he went over time with the patient before you. He never rushes people through and makes sure all your questions are answered. I for one appreciate this, he doesn't treat his patients like a paycheck, he genuinely cares. He specializes in homeopathic treatments and many of his treatments are legendary. He is able to make my wife's migraines disappear in a matter of minutes, no joke. I would vote for him for doctor of the year. read more

I have been a fibromyalgia patient of Dr. Novakovic for almost three years. I see him in the North Phoenix office. I can only see him on a Wednesday, because that is the only day of the week he is there. He spends every other day of that week in his chandler office. I think he has a brilliant mind when it comes to medicine and I truly believe that he has been a great doctor for me. That being said, he has a front office staff who are the rudest, laziest, most unprofessional group of clowns I have ever seen. If you're lucky enough to have one of them answer the phone, you can forget about them listening to the issue that you are calling about. What they do is tell you to hold while they transfer you to the medical assistant but she never answers the phone either! I have to leave her several messages in order to get her to call me back. I don't bother to show up a few minutes early for a scheduled appointment anymore because I always spend 45 minutes sitting in the waiting room before they call me back and I spend another 20 minutes in the room waiting for the doctor to come in. The only reason why I come back is because he spends his time with me and really listens to all of my concerns and answers all of my questions. Last Friday, I called the office and left a detailed message with the medical assistant so she could tell the doctor that I was about to run out of medication and needed a new script. She never called me back. I called again on Monday and left the same message. No return call. By Tuesday, I had been out of Lyrica for two days and left that message . I called a second time later that afternoon and nobody returned my phone call. Today is Wednesday and I left another message this morning to tell someone , anyone, that I needed my medication because I was now in withdrawal. I knew that nobody would call me back or call in my script to my pharmacy, so I went to the office hoping I could talk to the doctor myself. By the way, their voice recorder says that they are at lunch everyday from noon until 2 o'clock. At 2:45, I drove to the office only to find the door locked and the office girl sitting there at the desk completely ignoring me. By that time, I lost it. I got back in my car and wrote Dr. Novakovic a note explaining that I had not taken any medication because I was out and that I had left several messages on the medical assistants voicemail that went unanswered for three days. I also told him that I believed I was experiencing withdrawal symptoms and if I didn't hear back from him, I would be going to the emergency room. As I got out of my car to put the note on the office door, I vomited all over the parking lot. That same girl sitting behind the window at the front desk watched me stick that note on the door and walk away. Nobody ever called me back. Clearly there are communication problems with the front desk staff. If you read the reviews that patients have left about this CaveCreek office, you will see that I am not the only one that has been unfortunate enough to deal with a staff that doesn't give a shit about patients. I'm probably going to have to look for a different doctor. read more

Make sure to show your insurance EVERY single time you go in because they are not on top of it and will send you a bill without letting you know of the changes such as "they no longer take your insurance". Horrible customer service, did not take any responsibilities when I called them they just kept transferring me between two people who worked there and they will be reported for fraud. (They had told me I was seen for a respiratory issue when I was seen for ONLY a TB result which takes 2 minutes for the entire visit. The entire hour I was there NO ONE informed me that they won't take my insurance anymore and no one told me I would be paying "self pay" out of pocket. If I knew that I would have gone down the street to urgent care where it would have been 100% free of Charge. Very sketchy office. The PA is nice but be aware. read more

Not sure where to begin.. Called the practice to make an appointment and the girl seemed nice enough on the phone so I genuinely expected a pleasant experience. Boy was I wrong. Showed up on time, sat in a very small, dimly lit and dirty waiting area and was completely ignored for 25 minutes. Meanwhile several people whom spoke zero English were helped in and out of the office literally while I just sat there. Finally I just got up and left! Very shady operation going on there and certainly wasn't in a position to gamble my health care on it. And then throughout the rest of the entire day wouldn't you think they would've at least called me and asked where I went or what happened??? No They Did Not! Not really sure what is going on there but I can tell you I will never recommend it to anybody. Scary. read more

My mom and I have been coming here for years and it's been the same every time. No matter what, you will wait and wait and wait for AT LEAST an hour, no matter when your appointment is or if you show up on the dot or early. They have no concept of time management. None. For example, I had an appt today at 11A. I showed up 5 mins early. It is now 12 and they JUST called me in. Mind you that was only for my temp, BP, and weight. Im still sitting here waiting. That's 1 hour and counting! Im trying very very hard to not curse quite a bit right now because this is so unprofessional. It tells the patient that their time doesn't matter & that they aren't important. It is extremely rude. They are a good enough staff. Everyone is nice and friendly. Years ago the old PA caught a life threatening issue that saved my life. That's why Im not giving it 1star. UPDATE: It's 12:35 PM now and the PA just walked in. So that's a 1hr & 35 minute wait. Did I get an apology for my wait? No. Obviously me telling her that I was upset because of their lack of professionalism made her angry because she was super short with me afterwards. I said, "I am very frustrated right now because I have been waiting for way too long. That is unprofessional and extremely rude." Apparently that made me a jerk. Whatever, I am never going back there again. I have been to many doctors and that is NOT how a professional office treats their patients. And I won't even get started on how when I walked back into the room she was talking about my results with my mother who had come with me. Im in my 30's. Patient confidentiality? Dr is great and but I'm not impressed with staff. I started here 10 years ago and things were OK, staff generally were OK to moderate. I'm a guy and I know we are babies on pain, I am to say the least. But time after time when labs are done NO ONE WILL EVER CALL YOU BACK. I never know if they got them or not. Last week final straw, called the PA on Wednesday left message no callback, on Friday almost made it to office before they closed called office left message on emergency phone to Dr Julia - with change of medicine eyes acting up as of today 6/6/2019 no return call. Its all about me, I'm the customer - oh wait NOT ANYMORE. I hated leaving cause I do like the Dr but the staff work for him.. Just can't take it anymore and he was close. read more

The billing department at this Practice is the worst I have ever encountered. The doctor we met with was fine, but I have been dealing with billing issues to have them correctly bill my visit for 6 months. I have called them numerous times, told it would be resolved, only to find out it wasn't through a mailing from them stating I still owe them money for my 100% covered physical. This has been a terrible experience and I never want to go near this Practice again and highly advise anyone to not trust them when they say it will be billed as a physical, best advice is to go somewhere else. read more

I've always had a great experience with this practice. Been going to either the Chandler office or Cave Creek for probably 8 years. Pleasant staff, knowledgeable and they take great of me. Was there on Tuesday and needed another exam on Thursday. In and out with 20 minutes, Anya extremely helpful when I called to advice that the PA had put the wrong mg on prescription. The Dr always takes the time to answer my questions and the PA also very helpful. read more

You have very long waits even though no other patients are in the office,if your have an appointment plan to sit for an hour, when you ask direct questions the office staff they appear to be unable to respond in a professional manner, they yelled... yes I said yelled my personal information to other staff. They wanted me to submit to tests but would not tell me what they were testing me for or the reason for the test as it had NOTHING to do with my visit, you can draw your own conclusion about why a Dr office would bill for unnecessary and inappropriate tests $$$. Before I was introduced to Dr. Ross I had been dealing with severe chronic back pain due to 3 herniated discs in my lower back for 8 years. It had gotten to the point that I had constant burning, stiffness, loss of strength (couldn't hold my own body weight in a bent over position) and was unable to stand for long without the nerve pain running down my leg becoming unbearable! This review is for Ross Turchaninov who works at this practice. I came to see Dr Ross on referral to help me with frozen shoulder. I had a subluxation with a partial tendon tear and adhesive capsulitis. The year Before Dr Ross, I had had a cortisone injection and 5 months of physical therapy 3 times a week for 2 hours. The physical therapy relieved some pain and restored some flexibility but only got me back to about 70% of normal function. Frustrated I quit. A year later I went to see Dr Ross after I lost most of the flexibility in my shoulder and dealt with constant aching pain. In 1 short month of visits that involved massage and manipulation plus at home stretching 3 times per day, I am at 95% shoulder function. I can even throw a baseball again, something I haven't been able to do in 2 years!!! If your looking for conservative treatment of pain, I HIGHLY recommend you give Dr Ross a try!!!!! read more

Cannot say anything good about the services at the Cave Creek office. The appointments were screwed up. Beware of the billing! They charge you for things that never took place and there is absolutely no one who can resolve billing issues at that office nor their main office. Also, I cannot say anything positive about my interactions with the nurse or practitioner. Stay away! read more
