But I've been using Unique Lab Services for a few years now, and it's been wonderful. Scheduling is easy, they come to me, and an appointment lasts 15 minutes tops. Their techs are friendly and professional, and they are good at what they do--my vein has scar tissue and tends to roll, but they get it on the first stick every time. Our doctor suggested this company for some blood draws two weeks ago. An order was sent, a technician, Charlene, was sent to our home, all was perfect. We received new orders, going through chemotherapy and need weekly draws, so we contacted this company again. They set up an appointment for a technician to come to the house yesterday at 2pm. No calls, no show, haven't responded to phone messages left, nothing. An Inflammatory breast cancer, stage 4, triple negative patient has no room for errors like this!! The nurse Cathy was rude to my 88 year old sick mother who has a terminal lung disease. She treated her roughly and hurt her when inserting the needle. My mom has heat pads to plump up her almost nonexistent veins and the nurse would not wait 20 seconds for them to be heated in the microwave. She caused a lot of unnecessary trauma to my mom. Then 2 1/2 weeks later my mom's doctor has not received the results! When I reported all of this to Administration at Unique Labs the woman seemed very unconcerned. Lisa returns a phone call 4.5 hours later only to say the company is not making money so they are charging a fee even though insurance has $0 copay for labs. I utilized this company for the first time last week. I emailed in my order to the office & they were able to see me the next day. They explained to me that my insurance does not cover mobile services and it was going to be $59.00 service fee. The phlebotomist called me the night before to confirm my fasting draw time & showed up right on time and was in and out within minutes! I can't recommend this service enough, convenient, quality care and amazing customer service. I'll pay that service fee any day opposed to dealing with the labs far out appointments and then taking forever once you are there! Thank you Unique!! read more

First, let me tell you that the phlebotomists are outstanding and wonderful. The call center, on the other hand, needs some serious work. I had a STAT order that was ordered last Thursday. Tuesday morning, I call and they have no idea the order even exists and apologized once they found it. Said someone would be out that day and the phlebotomist should call soon. Early afternoon, no call. I call back at 3 and make sure someone is still coming. They have no clue what I'm talking about. Then say someone messed up and that the soonest someone could be out was Thursday and they'd give me a call Wednesday afternoon with a time. Wednesday morning, I'm 45 minutes away from my home (dr appointment) and I have a voicemail the phlebotomist missed me to draw this morning, I call the office and they say that there is no order, eventually find it and start helping and it's disconnected. Looking through my contacts, found the missed call from the phlebotomist and she is now coming out Thursday and will call me this evening with a time. How in ANY way is this an existing business? Thank God at least the phlebotomists know what they're doing. read more

Have been using this service for upwards of 8+ years. They used to be great, "used to be" being the operative words. The last 2.5 years, everything changed. The phlebotomists are awesome but they're independent contractors. However, the office staff leaves much to be desired. For the past 2.5 years, the office staff has no idea what they're doing. They'll set up appts but then not advise the phlebotomists, or the phlebotomists tell the office staff that they won't be available at a certain time/day. However, the office staff goes ahead and makes the appointment with the patient anyway, regardless of whether or not they have a phlebotomist available or not. Then, I'm sitting at home waiting for a call from the phlebotomist, as Jennifer in the office tells me, "oh, they'll call you tonight with a time." Of course, never received a call, no one showed up for my blood test, and this has happened for the last three times I've sent an order to them. It's getting ridiculous to the point where I'd be less inconvenienced if I just drove to Sonora quest. Get your s*it together people! read more

Bad experience. They did not draw all the required specimens. I had to get another draw, and had no insurance then. I brought the mistake to their attention through an E-mail and no response. This place sucks won't ever be using them again. A bunch of liars who keep saying they are going to come out, but never does. This is 3rd time they lied about coming out to draw blood but lies again. First phlebotomist lied and said she called but I have my both of my phones close to me. Then called office said they will come next day but again a liar. They used to be reliable. But not anymore. They no showed twice in a week. The first time they said it was because the tech decided not to come to my area that day, so they rescheduled me for the following week. No one bothered to call to inform me of this. No one came or called on the rescheduled date either. I have had to reschedule my doctor's appointment twice because of this. read more

On Friday, Mary called and left me a voicemail stating she would be at my house on Monday for the appointment. Completely unprofessional to 1) not show up and 2) not even bother to call.
