We usually reserve this kind of work for people we know or recommended by people we trust. So, I was a little skeptical about how it would turn out. Michael definitely delivered. He showed up the next day to give a quote, sent me a quote a couple of days later, and then started the job two weeks from my initial inquiry. So the first part of this review is that he showed up in a timely manner, which was something 4 other people failed to do. He worked on our basement drywall after we had a flood. He replaced the bottom half of what was cut out, put in trim, and painted. He also built us a wall split up the giant space. It all turned out really well and I couldn't be more happy with it. My only complaint, but not enough to lower my stars, was that due to our basement set up, all the spackling sanding ended up on our first floor (there's no door down to the basement). It was everywhere. If you'll have this same issue, I'd recommend putting up some sort of plastic barrier. If you need drywall repair, give Michael a call! They cut through the ceiling to get to the root of the leak issue, removed bad pipes from behind the ceramic tub, installed all new PVC pipes behind and underneath the bathtub, and also installed new fixtures, a new waste drain and overflow sysyems before closing everything up with new drywall, tiles and/or a fresh coat of paint. He also did all finishing touches including installing the drywall, door, floor tiles, and painting. Then, in our kitchen, we hired Tauhid to install a new kitchen sink and countertop along with a dishwasher. We were so impressed by his work that we then had him re-drywall our living room ceiling and install crown molding. All of the work took many months to complete, and not only was it done beautifully, but Tauhid was amazing to work with and has become a friend who we know we can call on for any small or big jobs that we need. Since that time, we sold that house (I'm sure Tauhid's work helped us get top dollar for our house), and we have since had him install a dishwasher at my parents' home and move washer/dryer lines from the basement to the first floor.
